Dec 2017: This is my daughters third year living here and she has had nothing but positive experiences during her stay. She is loving the new renovations, specifically the gym, and the staff is always extremely friendly whenever I've needed their assistance. Would definitely recommend to other students. Review from 12/4/17 on Google
Dec 2017: I honestly love living at The Verge. the gym is awesome especially since the ucf gym is always so crowded. my apartment was pretty nice too when i moved in. i highly recommend living here if you are a student. Review from 12/2/17 on Google
Nov 2017: The verge gets a bad rep, especially the staff but they've been nothing but awesome to me. Also I understand that there might be frustrations for some of the residents with the renovations but the verge is really trying to deviate from the reputation of the complex of before. (Super excited for the new gym and I love the upgrades to the pool!!) Review from 11/11/17 on Google
Sep 2017: The hunt for somewhere to live while I am a student was looking impossible, until I came across The Verge. Compared to most other student housing options, the apartments here are much more spacious from the common areas to the private bedrooms. Along with that, the prices were cheaper than most. I love that these apartments come furnished and have great security features like the gates and electronic keys. The staff is very helpful and during the tour, our guide was very informative. The many amenities here are somethings I will definitely enjoy, like the pool, gym, and study rooms. The feature I think I will enjoy the most are the many events hosted by the staff. These seem like they will be a fun way to relax and make friends with neighbors on my days off from school. Review from 9/20/17 on Google
Aug 2017: Our college D secured a room back in 2016 w/2 students renewing for the 2017-2018 UCF school year in one of their 4 bedroom apts. She picked up her key before work on Sat 8/19/17, and moved out Tues morning on 8/22/2017. She slept in the apartment 2 nights, staying awake both nights. It's a little hard to get a good night's rest when you have german cockroaches crawling on you while you sleep. Her stepdad is a Paramedic and has had the displeasure of pulling roaches out of ppl's ear canals in the ER... From Sat to Mon, the main office was approached by her and her stepmom concerning the roaches and the fact that the vacant rooms and bathroom were not cleaned, the carpet was not shampoo'd, nothing. The carpet was vacuumed and the rooms and bathroom were empty of trash. The only thing in her room other than furniture were the roaming roaches. I encouraged her to
Jul 2017: YES, IT IS TRUE!! THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! THE UPGRADES TO THE BUILDING WERE DONE WITH MY SON LIVING IN THE APT!! AND I WAS PAYING THE RENT MEANWHILE MY SON HAD TO EAT DUST EVERYDAY. MAINTENANCE WENT INSIDE THE APARTMENT TO CHANGE THE KITCHEN, THE BATHROOMS AND THE CARPET WITH MY SON AND ROOMMATE LIVING THERE!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
May 2017: Worst experience EVER! I highly do not recommend. Charged for amenities that were never included such as computer lab and free printing. Apartment had roaches and ants. Mold around the tub and floors. When I moved in everything was an exact opposite of what I was sold. The office management isn't very helpful at all. Due to renovations the pain my and floors/carpet incurred damage that they no longer do not want to claim responsibility for and maintenance barges into your apartment without any hesitation, etc. This super small place is not worth the price you'll pay. Check out the complaints on their Facebook. Review from 5/27/17 on Google
Apr 2017: Working with management right now over an open dispute.. it's all "we're sorry about that, so sorry", not sorry enough to do anything about it. These people are so unreliable and don't know how to put themselves in the shoes of residents. One girl who lived here didn't even have a working bathroom for two days. Unsafe conditions were left during the renovations. AWFUL, don't live here.

Apr 2017: Overall a lot of changes have occurred for the better over the last year; flooring, appliances, lighting and countertops are all new and the location close to UCF is good. Over all I have had a good experience living here the last 2 years with only fixes being the sprinklers tend to break too often and water covers the sidewalk, maintenance is on the slow side or will just reply with call the internet or cable people, and the rent increase while understandable with all the upgrades is now on the high side. But if that's not an issue I recommend the place. Review from 4/16/17 on Google
Apr 2017: My experiences in this place over the last year are horrible. The advertised amenities are getting closed down at will off the managment, therefore the pool was closed over the whole summer , the half basketball court got closed months ago. There are no ping-pong nor billiard tables . The advertised PC´s and IMac´s in the study rooms ,are apart of 1 old computer, non existing. The also advertised free printers do not work since almost a whole year. The apartment visitors get shown does not nearly look the same as the real apartment does. Review from 4/3/17 on Google
Apr 2017: Lived here for two years. First year was a sort of disaster, however they are now under new management and everything since the big change has been great! Friendly staff and EXCELLENT maintenance that works quickly and efficiently.
Dec 2016: After about 2 1/2 years here I have had very few issues overall. Everything is being updated which makes it feels like I am paying a good rate for what I am getting compared to other places. If I've had an issue it has been resolved pretty quickly. Review from 12/20/16 on Google
Dec 2016: This place lost one of my friend's contracts that I was going to room with and screwed him out of a room. We signed a lease at the same time and they denied it. I now live here and the office staff is god awful. I have had multiple issues with appliances that I have not been fixed after multiple work orders. The A/C continues to leak and leave puddles in my bathroom after maintenance has come twice and I was told they would come a third time and they never showed up. 0/10 would not recommend. Update: I finally got my appliances fixed/replaced. My A/C still leaks after living here for almost 5 months and my ceiling has mold and it has been a struggle to even get someone to come look at the leaks once again. I understand new management needs time to get organized and accustomed to everything, but this is ridiculous. Review from 12/5/16 on Google
Nov 2016: This place is the WORST place to ever live. Out of all apartments on our row, they are so horrible. This place is ran by all teens who don't know how to do anything. All they do is sit in the office and mess around and get nothing done. We waited two months to get something fixed when every time we called to wonder when it would be fixed, they always said it would be fixed that day and never happened. The staff doesn't know anything and the managers are never there to deal with anything. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They defiantly need someone to come fix this hell hole up. Review from 11/28/16 on Google
Apr 2016: This place is absolutely awful! Staff is so unorganized and not helpful at all. You call and speak to someone and the next time you call to follow up the person who answers apparently has no idea what you are talking about so you have to explain it all again. Then they say okay yeah we'll give you a call back or oh the person you need to speak with is not in so call back later. When you call back 4 hours later as instructed that person is still apparently not in and they never do follow up with you as they say they will. My boyfriends car got towed and they said it was because he wasn't parked in visitor parking but yet there were five cars next to his who were visitors as well but they didnt get towed. Review from 4/16/16 on Google
Apr 2016: I wouldn't even give it half a star! The staff is rude, there's always crime, and the electrical and water issues aren't solved. Not to mention all of the potholes in the parking lot and the lack of visitor parking! don't live here! Its sad to have to say you're scared to walk from your car to your apartment because of the amount of crime that's gone on. Review from 4/12/16 on Google
Feb 2016: Highly recommend not to live here. Due to uneducated staff not only did they tow my car but I asked about an incident that occurred and told me it had nothing to do with me and wouldn't inform me why cops and firefighters were everywhere. Two students I know got stabbed here this year. There is no security and the alarms do not work. don't live here unless you like helicopters looking over your complex and lots of sirens all of the time. It's also a dump inside and completely outdated. Review from 2/18/16 on Google
Dec 2015: This place is amazing especially for the price. Generally the people complaining have never lived away from mommy and daddy before and know anything about living on their own. don't let these bad reviews fool you. The staff cares, there is constant security patrols, no roach problem and its constantly running events, remodeling, and coming up with even more stuff to improve upon. Review from 12/12/15 on Google
Dec 2015: They don't even deserve 1 star. The office staff is VERY unorganized, and have no idea what's going on ever. I've been trying to move out for over a month now, and they have not been clear with me about the process, and I've been lied to multiple times saying they had someone moving in on a specific date. Maintenance loves to walk in without knocking. Members of office staff have walked into my unit AND my bedroom while I was ASLEEP just to give me a form to resign. I'm NOT resigning with The Edge. I do not recommend living here unless you don't mind having no privacy, and rude/lost office staff. Review from 12/9/15 on Google
Dec 2015: Worst place I ever lived. The staff are complete ass holes, the apartment is so nasty. If you're a female that likes to get harassed every time you walk around, perfect place for you :)) Review from 12/2/15 on Google
Feb 2015: I lived at the Edge for 2 years in a 4x4 and a year in a 1 bedroom. Absolutely loved it! Pool is great and there is always something going on. I met two of my best friends through their random roommate matching! Review from 2/27/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Oct 2014: Buyer beware. As a parent of a 2013-2014 resident, absolutely do not let your child live here...apartment quality issues and significant neighborhood safety issues. Shortly after move in, my child's bathroom ceiling starting to leak. Found the a/c unit was directly over the shower. A/C unit was so bad the water starting down the side of his bathroom wall, started coming out the bathroom baseboard and flooded his bathroom. (Yes, the control box was set appropriately.) Because the repairs and dry out took two weeks, my child was unable to use the entire bathroom. Many times the a/c was down, most recently the last 2 weeks in June. Review from 10/5/2014 on Apartment Ratings
Jun 2014: They have a roommate matching system. Also the pool always seem to have people so a great social setting. It is also one of the few places around UCF with free parking. I really like it.
Jun 2014: From my experience the pool is nice and the theater is great. Maintenance has been quick for me and the staff is friendly and courteous. Guest parking can be an issue so some planning is needed.
Jun 2014: It is close to campus and there is a shuttle every 15 minutes. Sometimes it is late. As for the crimes, that seems to happen every so often at other places too. It does not mean it is hopeless and they should not do anything about it, so may be they could increase the patrol more.
