Jan 2018: Great place to live, affordable prices, large open complex with room for dog walks. It is a bit far from campus and everything, but the buses run for classes. Newer apartments look great. Front office is great, love the service. Review from Google
Jan 2018: It ought to be for college students only. I lived there for a little while. Got kicked out for drinking. I was at the swimming pool trying to mentor some young dudes there and someone called the police and they arrested me. I was paying rent there so I don't believe they should have arrested me. If the police officers had asked me to go inside the apartment I'd quickly have done so. They abused their authority. I also had as much right to be outside enjoying myself as everyone else. Jan 2018: The worst place and manager ever. They show you a beautiful 4 bedroom unit with all nice and new furniture, painted, clean and spacious, and they do not allow most of the time to see your unit before singing the lease, but when you see your unit, you regret you came here. They do not clean anything before giving you the unit. My room was very dirty, full of dust and dirty carpet, the light were broken and they didn’t changed it and the walls were not painted at. the only thing the manager did for me was telling me if you don’t want the place you need to go find someone else to take over your lease. Be sure to visit the unit here before you sing anything. VERY UNSATISFIED. Look for any other place if you can and do not live here. Review from Google
Nov 2017: The staff alone is amazing. They were very helpful in answering all the questions I had over the phone and again in person. Not once did I feel rushed. The apartments are gorgeous and spacious so you definitely get what you pay for. The location of the apartments are also very nice and seems safe. Review from Google
Oct 2017: How do i even begin?? So many problems with this apartment complex. I live in a 3 bed room all girl unit. lately a guy has been living in the apartment and every time i try to tell the office they do absolutely NOTHING about it. they are not helpful at all. they will come “do a walk thru†and see no sign of the guy living there and basically tell me i am wrong. when i try to ask for help on certain things the holly’s staff are rude and sarcastic. My rent has gone up because apparently they are allowed to add stuff to my rent without my consent? i never signed anything saying they could add their own insurance nor did i ever sign anything saying they can just make my rent go up whenever. when i try talking to them about it they are very rude. I would not recommend living here, they are no help when you need help. And my apartment always has bugs in it.
May 2017: The Holly is a HUGE upgrade from University Courtyard! I am very impressed with the new management in the leasing office and their hard work. they are very friendly and helpful. The renovations done to the leasing office as well as the units are so nice! the pricing is just right too! They have a ton of cool amenities that include a beachfront lake...nobody else has that! The residents are very kind as well. Great community feel. I would definitely say The Holly is great bargain!

Apr 2017: Where do I even start.........So many problems with this place. First, they lost my lease over the summer and changed my rent priceThen we had cockroaches..(still do actually) in our apartment and my room mate had to hire someone to come in and spray the place. Might I add that I actually woke up to a cockroach crawling in my bed one night. YEAH THAT HAPPENED. I have woken up one night, and literally cockroaches were crawling up and down my door; I left in the middle of the night to stay at my boyfriends. when i first moved in we didn't have our internet working for a week, school had started by then as well.

Dec 2016: Terrible place to live. My roommate and I both had our cars broken into and the office did nothing about it. The office also promised renovations would be done back in August and it's now December and we still don't have access. In addition, the front office is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and a joke of a management team. This is my third year living here and they still haven't fixed things from when I initially moved in despite countless work orders. They increased the rent several times and yet we've seen nothing from it. They falsely advertise and get people to sign under false pretenses, which is illegal under the DTPA and should be held accountable up to the maximum 3x damages for scamming students and parents. Nov 2016: Great staff! They really make this place what it is! Theyre friendly, personable and will work their hardest to help you! They've also finished a lot of renovations at the property but have kept the rates super low. Probably the most affordable student housing property in Lubbock! Its a nice property to live at, especially for the rates. 5/5 would recommend.

Nov 2016: Absolutely wonder experience thus far. The Office people were very helpful in tending to my needs. Making the move in process smooth and easy. Second to none. I highly recommend any new student to college to check these guys out. Wonderful environment and safe.

Jun 2016: Literally the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I am currently a resident (not renewing a lease), and I have been informed that I cannot take a shower or cook in my apartment for two days so that they can do "renovations" at their convenience.

Jun 2016: Already renewed my lease! Although no place is ever perfect, University Courtyard L. L. C. is on the way in making a name in the midst of the competition. With it's friendly staff and 5 million dollars in renovations set in motion, this had been a much needed improvement from the dorm life.

Jun 2016: Worst place ever, Internet is so bad that I missed one of my online exam.because internet will go off and on and they just upgrade it. Please don't even come here to stay if you are still stubborn and want to come and live the experience please come and take my place I will gladly move out of this place. Everything in this apartment is an issue and they are always threaten you to take you to court. This is the worst place ever they do not even deserve one star.

I've had my fair share of issues, but I enjoy that I have a clean, bug-free, and generally-quiet, safe place to live. I never have water/air-conditioning issues so that's awesome. Maintenance sometimes shows up the same day to fix things and sometimes never come and I have to annoy them until they do it, but it's always small things

Jun 2014: From someone who currently lives at courtyards (until the end of summer)--- I implore you, DO NOT LIVE HERE. This might be the worst apartment in Lubbock. Ever since I moved in, this place has gone more downhill every month. Courtyards is a disaster right now. Many of the apartments are in unlivable condition. Thousands of pigeons have infested the property. Dog poop is everywhere. The pools are dirtier than the pond at the apartment. Almost every day there are ***DUCKS*** swimming in both of the "resort style pools." One duck was underwater probably diving for bugs. Dont let the $299/month rates pull you in. There is a reason that this place has the lowest rates in Lubbock.
