Sep 2019: My favorite of all of my time living in San Marcos. The staff was never rude. There is plenty of parking. Great neighbors. Pet friendly. Maintenance works fast and responds quickly. The after hours answering service works and I didn’t wait all night for help. There is free air for your tires too. The trash is a small issue but never too bad. Also notices are posted on the door where anyone can read them which is kind of careless. But I’m sure if you asked for discretion they’d oblige and fold it and address it you. The rent rate was a good value for the quality of our home. If I had to do it again I would have moved here sooner. Review from Google
Aug 2019: My child and his roommates have had no AC for four days and it is over 100 outside, 87 in their apartment. This is the third month in a row. They charge the system with freon but it has a slow leak and so it will not stay charged. No one has responded for four days. This is typical of their maintenance. They were without a dishwasher for over a month. I will be calling the University today to complain, Uclub is "partners" with the University and receive lots of referrals and free publicity. Review from Google
Jun 2019: I have lived here 2 years and thought I should share how it is to really live here. Its a great location but seriously the ONLY reason I have stayed this whole time. Management and their crew WILL walk in your apartment complex at any given time without notice and when I complain I got a "Its in the lease" response. They say they dont need to give a notice! If its not your "unit" /room then they won't tell you because its none of your business. They find any reason to charge you fees! Today I got a very unexpected visit from their crew and basically was told there is nothing I can do but let them in. Its has always been this way and just kinda hoped it would get better. Its very invasive if this really is part of the lease and is a deal breaker. Your residents live in the whole living space not just the unit!! Review from Google

Apr 2019: Uclub is very helpful and has amazing staff! The apartments are fairly nice for the price you pay! It’s Not loud and crazy. And I love the pool! How things are ran in the office is very important and they really do an outstanding job! 5 stars for sure!! Review from Google
Apr 2019: These are really nice apartments with all the amenities my future Texas State student will need. Plus they are a lot more affordable than most of the other apartments with similar features. The staff is really nice and helpful too Review from Google
Apr 2019: I have lived at University Club for almost three years and I have enjoyed it. I have had really good times here and the staff has stepped up their game in the past year. The apartments are not the nicest in town, but the offer great prices. The new staff and maintenance team are great as well. If you are a student looking for a place to reside, come take a look at these apartments. Review from Google

Apr 2019: I looked at UClub recently and was met with patience and kindness from the staff. Karen helped me with a tour and was very thorough with questions I asked and helped me feel welcome. The apartments themselves are clean and accommodating. Perfect for student living! Review from Google
Mar 2019: If I could I would give zero stars. This is by far the worst experience I ever had with an apartment complex. From move in date to end of lease. I waited a long time to write a review, but I will say to any person looking for an apartment here to "save money," please don't do it to yourself. On move-in day, I was the only resident to move in (it was out of the norm date) and the staff all went to lunch. I'm assuming to celebrate the fact they were able to fool someone else to live here. The bedroom was filthy and had bugs all in the bathtub, toilet, window screens, and carpet. There were bugs in the kitchen sink, in the living room, and windows downstairs as well. It was literally infested with bugs. The leasing consultants said "It just had not been cleaned yet." I did not begin moving in until 3:45 and the close at 5PM. When was it supposed to get cleaned? I had to request pest control at least three times to get the apartment cleared fully of insects Review from Google
Jan 2019: Hayden works at the U Club I walked right in the doors and she came first aid to my assistance any questions I had she answered and were willing to help me with no problem I walked in and she brought me to a computer to fill out a form I told her I wasn't to computer savvy she helped me right away she was an excellent person very welcoming and made my experience that much more better if anybody's thinking about going to the U Club I would see Hayden she's an amazing staff member and very welcoming I think she deserves a raise thank you Hayden. And because of her great assistance that is why now that is my residence because of her that is why her welcoming help. Places like the U Club need more people like her Review from Google
Jan 2019: This is my second year here because of financial reasons but I am always stuck with one roommate that doesn’t abide by the contract. And the rest of us get charged for it. They say wifi, cable, and phone is included but hardly ever works. The servicemen are great, but services, such as trash, that was “included” by the way, have been changed over and over and overpriced. Don’t even get me started about the ‘ammenities’ they have. The pool is the only good thing there. Weight room has machines that are from what looks like the late 80’s and feel like that they might break on you. The computer lab is decent but the computers have connectivity issues or are slow, so its a gamble. They do have free coffee and a front staff that try, bless their souls. I only recommend if you are getting a whole apartment for your family or rooming wi Review from Google
Nov 2018: I've waited a bit til I decided to write a review in hopes that things would change. But 4 months into my year long lease, I'm almost positive they won't. First off, one the great things about this place is Jack and Hayden in the leasing office. Through my whole process of applying, Jack helped me every step of the way and every time I've ever stepped foot into the leasing office, Hayden has been nothing but warm and welcoming. Being completely honest, those people are the only good about this place other than that its so cheap. Rent is about 550-600 depending on utilities so its pretty low compared to other places. The first day I moved in, the entire place was disgusting. I was under the impression that I would be moving in about a month before my current roommate yet come move in day, there's 2 other people still living here. No notice, no Review from Google
Oct 2018: Want me to tell you how awesome the University Club Apartments are? Let me break it down for you, who are either new to apartment living / San Marcos in general: Most apartment complexes I’ve lived at have been overpriced and crappy living spaces, where I’ve had to share a room with someone else. The leasing offices at those apartment complexes are also so detached from the needs of their residents that they won’t help you. BUT THAT IS WHERE UNIVERSITY CLUB IS *VASTLY* DIFFERENT. Whenever I’ve had an issue in the apartment, it gets fixed almost immediately. The leasing office team of Jack and Hayden here at University Club are nice, funny, and the most helpful leasing team I’ve ever had. Are you sick of living in an awful place like, say, the overpriced apartments close to campus? Then don’t. Come live over on the COOL side of San Review from Google
Aug 2018: I lived here for a year decided to leave this review after my experience because I wanted to give it a fair shot before rating this place and let’s just say I had a bad experience here. First the move in day was horrible the place was super dirty and it smelled so bad it looks like the place hasn’t been cleaned in years! Dishwasher never worked, the stove sucked lietterally everything in the common area was not functional. The AC would stop working at least four to five times a month. The maintenance people are super rude and not very helpful. The people in the front desk are also very rude never wanting to help and when you would asked them something they would always have attitude with you! And whatever you do don’t lose that key card they give you to go into the building after hours because they will charge you $150.00 even though the Review from Google
Jul 2018: There were hiccups along the way as there are with any apartment complex, but Jack was extremely helpful in meeting all of my requests and making sure that I got exactly what I wanted. The move in process was easy and painless. The apartments themselves are super cute and high quality for the price being paid. I would absolutely recommend to a friend. Review from Google
Jul 2018: My stay has been great, no major problems. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I believe that jack deserves a raise for all of his hard work. Review from Google
May 2018: Wonderful management, Jack helped me out so much and I’m truly thankful for that. I knew nothing when it came to searching for apartment and he helped me out beyond what a usual worker would do. I love the apartments and would recommend this for anyone!!! Review from Google
May 2018: Jack was one of the best employees and made it simple and easy for me to move in a nice home for it's price! Review from Google
May 2018: WORST APARTMENT I HAVE EVER LIVED IN!!!!!!! For starters, the workers in the front office ALWAYS give attitude whenever you ask them to do the slightest thing. SECOND, when I moved in my AC didn't work and I went almost a month without it because instead of just investing in an AC unit that works, they kept giving me recycled ones. THIRD, there is no way out of the lease (I know, one you sign youre stuck) however, usually apartments have a large fee you pay and then youre free. FOURTH, it takes maintenance 10 years to get anything fixed. There is one very helpful maintenance guy named Elius. FIFTH, when I moved in there were empty beer cans sitting on the counters??? and dirt on the walls, cabinets were drawn on & STICKY and the place reeked. When I asked where the cleaning fee went to they accused me of making the mess...… the day I moved i Review from Google
May 2018: Great price. Easy living. Move in process was same day just about. Jack and the other staff were very helpful. Easy to deal with. Review from Google
May 2018: I lived here for 2 years and I honestly enjoyed it. I just moved out. It's a safe and quiet area and it doesn't flood! At least during my time there. Maintenance: pretty fast to act unless the problem requires ordering something of course. I do have an issue with their emergency maintenance when the office is closed. They are really hard to get a hold of. Management: Very kind and understanding. Although they rarely answer the phone and they often close the front office out of the blue. But once I get a hold of them they're great. Apartment: When we moved in it was immaculate. They put in brand new furniture and their were no bugs. If you have a problem with bugs they are pretty good about spraying. The appliances are outdated but they work just fine. The cabinets and bathroom counters are also pretty old but again, they're not dirt Review from Google
May 2018: Maintenance does not do the my request or my roommates. The rooms are all different sizes. Moving in was gross. The front office said they only clean the rooms and not the kitchen or living area. Review from Google
Dec 2017: Do not sign here unless you are looking for a full year, unfurnished lease. The water bill is always high, maintenance requests are slow, and the front office is closed more often than not. I signed a half year lease for a furnished apartment and didnt get furniture until 2 weeks before the semester was over (never got a microwave which was supposed to be included). Review from Google
Jun 2017: I waited until I lived here a full year to write my review, because I thought that seemed fair. Not that uclub deserves such a courtesy.. If you like surprises, you'll love uclub! Surprise maintenance, surprise fees. I have come home on several occasions to find maintenance left my front door unlocked, or wake up to maintenance yelling through my apartment like animals, or find out they touch/pick up your pets (uninvited). The most you'll hear from the office is "I don't KNOW" or their other favorite "I can't DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT". That's on the off day you catch the office open. Review from 6/13/17 on Google
