In addition to the city's most walkable environment, Midtown serves cyclists with eight miles of bike lanes, easy accessibility by car, and one of the most robust transit systems in the Southeast.

Emory University runs an extensive fleet of shuttles, called the "Cliff". The shuttle bus network, named ‘Cliff,’ services Emory’s Midtown, Clifton, Executive Park and Briarcliff campuses. It also includes Park-n-Ride service from local malls. Cliff also allows people to move around Emory without the need to find parking or worry about driving in local traffic.
