Jul 2021: So disappointing. My daughter and her 2 friends put they didn't want to live with a dog. The Lyndon placed a roommate with them that has a dog. My daughter is allergic to animals however, The Lyndon is requiring we prove she has allergies. We are a military family stationed overseas and now have to jump through hoops to get her records here to prove we aren't lying. Since when do you put dogs before humans??Aug 2020: The security guard is practically non existent, sits in the leasing office on his phone watching various Tik Toks. I had my motorcycle stolen on this property from behind their "secure gates", which fun fact, are not working at this time, haven't been for about 2 months now.
Residents are treated like dirt if you speak your mind, workers do nothing to help unless you're their friend. Save yourself money, time, and headache and lease somewhere else.
Aug 2020: Honestly, if I hadn't renewed my lease back in October, I'd happily be looking for another place to live.
Management was a joke under Jon, the old property manager, and since he has left, nothing has changed. No response from management unless you threaten to go over the property managers head. It's always just smoke and mirrors. Yes the place itself is "nice", but if I can't even get a call back from anyone at the front office about my lease, I don't care how "nice" the apartments look.
On top of that, good luck getting your mail, the workers are the ones putting it in the mailboxes, not the post office, and countless times, mail that was suppose to be delivered days prior were sitting in their working area (in the leasing office). Told "we put the mail up" only to have finally been told the truth by a worker that, "we haven't put the mail in the slots for

*for luxury living I highly recommend the local on the square! the view of the square from the pool is unmatched! management is super nice and effective and most importantly you see what you pay for. (they both in the same price range but at the local, there's not stuff smeared on the hallway walls, dog pee everywhere, etc)*
-or if you're looking for a place that just opened, I recommend the one on the square behind the taco bell; my friend works there and loves it so far

then new management moved in and they literally were unreachable until move out to collect fees......
also in my new apartment, the floors were coming up, the electricity was always glitching (like the lights would flicker and stuff would randomly go out) and it took maintenance over two weeks to reply to my work orders.
if you're a texas state student looking for luxury student living I promise you will not see it here. it's nice on the outside, but the amount of money you're paying and how its literally going to nothing because management refuse to maintain the property and its residents: IT'S not worth I.T
also I would like to mention here that they are incredibly inconsistent. I paid $1112 to get out of my lease but they sent me another relet fee of $1108 and refuse to acknowledge the price change or refund me for the difference.

literally for the longest time there was dog pee and poop everywhere because residents didn't want to pick up after their pets and management left it. the halls were filled with gnats because the indoor trash service had odd pick up hours (which really wasn't the trash services fault because they come when management says come; but management didn't want to treat the gnats...) they literally told everyone to put out apple cider vinegar traps and get bug spray........ like what are you doing with the rent money to where you can't pay for pest control??

Nov 2019: This is the best apartment complex to live at in San Marcos. The amenities are the best and the facilities are always clean. Whenever I have any work orders, they are always done within a timely manner. A huge shout out to the awesome staff. Alex the resident director, Dakota, and Alexis are very helpful and take care of all my issues. I would recommend living here to anyone looking for apartment.
