May 2019: I feel this apartment complex surpasses most other complex’s. The contract is clear without scams or hidden fees. The rooms and buildings are nice. The service is good and reliable, amenities are beyond awesome, and honestly think the location is perfect! I have yet to be disappointed with the staff and community, and I highly doubt the possibility. Review from Google
Apr 2019: This apartments are a complete trash. Property manager is no help and his only response to any issue is "We need to move passed this." Over a week ago, my upstairs neighbor broke a pipe/tube that cause water to start pouring through the walls of my restroom. I immediately called maintenance to take care of it, however, I was told I would be charged for repairs by a contractor in front of the property manager and the manager said nothing to correct this person. Then I was left alone with the same contractor to be threatened by him again, that he could make my living even more difficult. I called the manager to put a complain on the situation and all he said was that I needed to "move passed the situation." The fallowing day I wake up to the same man on my bedroom door attempting to open my door with a key in which he only knocked one time and gave me not time to even get out of bed before attempting to come in my bedroom Review from GoogleApr 2019: awful awful awful the managers Trevor and Dalton are useless. Trevor makes it his business to get lost all day instead of addressing anyting when students have a problem. Besides the roaches and the lack of motivation from maintenance, I don't suggest anyone to move on this property because nothing no complaints no anything would ever be resolved you will get the run around all year long. The kitchen space could be a little bigger for sharing it with a roommate, but still not bad, compared to other apartments in San Marcos. Office staff is still great & friendly since I've moved in, which is good. The complex giving us a spending cap on water and electricity is nice as well. Furniture could use some updating. Outdoor sitting lounge area close to each building living area would be nice for those of us who enjoy having a drink or a smoke at night. As well easier access for our visitors would be great since the phone directory deal at the gate can hold us the line sometimes or sometimes our guest have trouble finding our names. But overall The Grove is a nice place to live. Review from Google
Apr 2019: They sent a bill to collections that I didn't even know I owed. I moved out and everything was fine. Until 6 months later when I started getting phone calls from a collection agency about an unpaid bill from the The Grove. They had my email, phone number, forwarding address, my guarantor's email and phone number, and not once did they try to contact me about my balance. Pretty low Review from Google

Oct 2018: Thai is place amazing. I have lived in other places around town and no one has ever been as nice and accommodating as the management here at the grove. I really feel like they care about residents concerns. Every time I run in the office for something, they’re always ready to help with a smile. Mar 2018: I “loved†living here. This is my second year here and I resigned because the office workers were nice and happy and helped me with all the issues I had last year. This year anything I bring to them they don’t help out. They’re still nice but don’t do anything to resolve issues. The walls are so thin I can hear the people above me talk and stomp all night but they don’t care. Someone in the office even called my roommate and I liars when telling them about our neighbors. We also have bugs around (even though my roommate and I are very clean people)and thankfully the maintenance team is super nice and friendly and comes asap. The gate NEVER works and doesnt make me feel safe in our “gated communityâ€. It is also hard to find signal in the apartment for phone conversations so be prepared to stand by a window. I went to the front office about it and they told me just because my car is on their property it isn't their responsibility what happens to it. I had to get my doors fixed because of the break ins. My boyfriend visited me for a weekend, had a visitors parking pass, got his license plates stole then a week later got a call from his insurance company saying his car was involved in a car accident. Maintenance always responds quickly to get issues fixed. They have added a lot of upgrades in the last year like the internet speed, basketball court, etc. They also have community events since they are one of the smaller communities in San Marcos which are always a great way to meet people.

Good recreational activities like basketball court, pool, ping pong, 8-ball pool, and a 24-hr weight room. It's great for students that attend Txst because a shuttle stops right at the front for a ride to campus. I've stayed for a year and just resigned.

May 2017: I love the grove! The environment is very fun, safe, and friendly. They have amazing amenities, the staff is welcoming, maintenance is always prompt and prepared they get back to you within 24 hours, which I absolutely love. The grove has so much to offer at such a great price!

May 2017: So far, my experience with The Grove has been great. I haven't had any issues maintenance wise nor with the staff. They are all really nice and try their best to give you the best experience when visiting the office, during Grove events, and just living here in general. The Texas State shuttles picks up and drops off last, so it's only about a 10-15 minute duration time to school, which is nice. Apartment wise, you pay for what you get.

They treat us residents as though we are a part of their family. They seem to know every single person on a first name basis and never fail to say hi and give a big wave and a smile. The apartments are very nice and if ever a problem might occur, somebody is there to fix it immediately. I live here because of the management and the staff. They are the best!
