Jun 2019: We recently moved here and so far it’s been a great experience for our family! We don’t have to drive far for anything everything is close by, which is so convenient. Management is very helpful and respond quickly to all questions. Review from GoogleMay 2019: It used to be called Fox Hollow. The change of name is due to a series of crimes (stabbing incidents, murder, drug dealing) that occurred there. Therefore, it was a marketing/business decision.
Apartment: They offer one and two bedroom apartments. Some have a very small patio area. The "renovated" one more expensive. The renovation consists in new floors, black microwaves, dishwasher, and stove (the black look is classy). The rent is too expensive for the services offered. They ignore requests to fix things.
Complex: It is bug and have areas great to walk your dog. A lot of trees and green areas, which I really like.
Staff: the handymen are courteous and easy to talk to. At first, the manager seems kind but once you show interest in moving out, she completely changes. The front desk employee is rude.
Amenities: no gm, no internet (unless you are standing right next to the leasing office). A pool, that is closed too often and usually pretty dirty. Review from Google
Apr 2019: Hampton forest apartments are a terrible place to live. You have to be worried about people breaking into your cars all the time. There are so many people that live there that do all kinds of drugs. The office staff are very lazy. They are all about your mony but dont care about you or your safty and health. Jan 2019: very bad place to live the worst experience in housing, it is cheap but very bad, the office does not work as it should always look for an excuse for any problem, in the photos you see the damage that had in front of the window, human manure goes out by the pipe because the apartments are old and it took 1 month to fix that peoblema, my laundry broke and lasted 2 months without laundry and paying, each time it is a different damage and I am going to complete a year in this residence and all the months I have a problem, the bathrooms in my apartment burst and water was returned with manure, the carpets were wet and still in one of my rooms the carpet smells very bad, the maintenance arrangements are very basic, if there were 0 stars the would put 1 star is much for this condo so bad, otherwise the people of michael are group never answer the em Review from Google
Aug 2018: Rent is due on the 1st of the month but on my lease it gives a 5 day grace period. So, you can pay on the 5th with no penalty. But they will send harassing text messages demanding rent be paid. Of course when you point out you have your lease copy, they clam up and ask for you to pay as soon as you can.
There was a murder here about 2 months ago and as soon as it happened, they changed the name of the apartment complex. They charge you $30 a month for someone to pick the garbage up for you. But if you don't place the bag in the container correctly, they will take a picture and send you a letter saying if you do it again, you will be fined. The "recyclables" if you can even call it that is a joke. They want it placed inside a garbage bag and they just dump it with the regular garbage. The dump in the back part of the property is filthy. I feel Review from GoogleJun 2018: Michaelson group bought this place recently. Since then there has been four different managers a shooting in which someone was killed and nothing but chaos. They say they’re going to make all these changes to this place yet it’s been months and nothing has changed. Only thing that’s changed is the name. Which happened four days after the shooting....go figure. I felt safe and comfortable here before they took over now I can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can get out of here. Granted this is just my opinion but if I were you I’d look elsewhere. Sadly they won’t let me give them negative stars because I most definitely would. One is as low as I can go. All they do is accept your rent money and act like there going to take care of your problems. One day we had mold in our apartment all they did was take pictures and say they would take care of it (which they didn't) AND they are never in there office!!!! May 2018: This apartment complex had my 71 year old mothers car towed because she was not there to move it while they cleaned the parking lot as she was in the hospital with pneumonia. They made no attempt to contact her or speak with the neighbors, they simply had her car towed Review from GoogleFeb 2018: New to the state and found Fox hollow apartments to be fairly convenient to my job. There has been many changes in management and many changes to the property which maybe a great thing. Ms. Lynn Dixon is the current manager and she is awesome. She's warm and caring and a great asset to the company, but she needs help in that office. She is so busy and she wants to take care of the needs of the tenants but she looks swamped. She deserves a great bonus for her hard work and dedication. I look forward to seeing an upgrade of the laundry facilities. Lynn has made my stay at Fox Hollow a great one. The changes are pretty nice and very convenient. The new property manager Lynn is so nice and very helpful. She is so busy answering phones, helping the people who live here and dealing with the day to day agenda. She was very kind and helpful when I brought my maintenance problem to her. On Tuesday night 12/19/17 I placed an online maintenance request to replace the refrigerator in my apartment. I purchased Christmas food before I noticed it wasn't working. No response. I placed another request and also called the after hours number on Wednesday 12/20/17. Still No response. Arrived at the office at 4:30 on 12/22/17 after leaving work to catch the office before they closed for the Christmas holiday. I was very angry and met the new property manager Lynn Dixon. I told her the reason I was so angry because so many things had happened since I moved in. Nothing ever fixed when it is stated. Miss Dixon promised she will correct the wrong. Jul 2017: Stay away from this place lots of bad people , thiefs , and they never fix nothing take a weeks months, lots people they not leave here use the laundry and destroy it, the pool is always Full with people aren't from here this place is horrible
Review from 07/01/2017 on Google.Feb 2017: I moved in Oct, the staff has heen great. They are both very friendly, when my AC was running for hours and still blowing not cold air they had it fixed and replaced right away, they call before they ever enter your apt to make sure its okay.
I have a bottom unit so my upstairs neighbors are loud but nothing overly obnoxious. All in all this place is nice, gated and some apartments have upgrades.
A good place to live.
