Aug 2019: Lived in AMLI Parkside for 6 months. Pros: I loved the package room pick up service - occasionally a code wouldn't be generated and the office was able to send a one-off code to get in which was great. Day to day maintenance team was super responsive and helpful!
Cons: The leasing company never struck me as particularly proactive or capable of problem solving. One of the garage gates stopped working and went unfixed for almost a month while I was there. Communication to residents wasn't super clear, explanation of amenities offered definitely wasn't handled well.
It's a great location, very walkable. I do believe, however, that the Fourth Ward rental market (of which AMLI owns probably 1/2) is overpriced in general. If you are going to live in the area AMLI has the monopoly and for my experiences with their company and leasing staff I just couldn't stomach paying their prices in contrast to resident experience Review from Google
Jul 2019: I have been here about 3 months and love calling it home. I always feel safe. The leasing agents and management are so helpful and friendly. I don't know how she does it but Nicole knows every resident by name AND their pet! Any maintenance requests are taken care of promptly. Mar 2019: I’ve lived here for 4 years and absolutely love it! The location is perfect, the complex is well kept and clean, and most importantly, I’ve never felt unsafe. The staff, especially Nicole (she is the sweetest!), is friendly and very helpful. The maintenance staff is nice and prompt with addressing any issues. I’ve never encountered any problems while living here. I highly recommend AMLI Parkside! It's right on the Historic Old 4th Ward Park in a slightly more residential area than right by Ponce City Market, which keeps the neighborhood quiet and free of a lot of the traffic from the market on the weekends. The apartments are very spacious with beautiful finishes, lots of closet space, and upgraded appliances. The office staff is incredibly responsive and professional, and the maintenance team is very friendly and usually complete service requests within 24 hours. Feb 2019: DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I currently have a mouse in my apartment. It is over the weekend (Saturday to be exact) so maintenance staff is off and one of the leasing agents told me I would have to wait for maintenance to come in on Monday and wait for pest control to come Tuesday. No sense of urgency to help me. IDK where this mouse has come from but I’m super scared and grossed out. Review from Google

Apr 2018: Researched AMLI Parkside and decided to make an appointment to tour the property. I’m not sure why having an appointment is necessary because though I rushed there to make the appointment on time, I was ignored. After sitting for another 20 minutes and not even greeted, no hello, no we will be with you shortly, no can we offer you a beverage while you wait, NOTHING... we left and walked across the street to Aster. They were just as busy, as expected on a Saturday, but their greeting and we will be with you shortly made all the difference. AMLI, this was my second attempt. But I see that customer service is still a low priority. To me this was an indication of what’s to come after signing a lease. Review from Google
Jul 2017: Apparently walk ins get priority over appointments here. I made my appointment on time and was told to come back an hour later because a two tour groups walked in before me. Unprofessional staff told me to just take a video tour online if I'm here to just look around. Horrible management already. I rarely had to contact maintenance, but when I did, they were very responsive and would have the issue fixed the same day. Aug 2016: Let me first say the the staff is wonderful. Idk why anyone would let this could happen. Pics are of our garbage dumpster and our trash room. This has been this way since Saturday 8/13/16. I can't imagine what lives in these trash filled places. I have a 4yo that has to walk through this smell everyday. Our halls most days smell like trash or waste. This is not luxury this is the projects. And don't call corporate to complain bc I did not received a call back. Amenities, staff, security, cafe room with the new computers and high tech coffee and tea machine. It's worth the money no matter what room you get. My biggest concern before coming here was safety. They have an active security truck that is always around, a great garage and everyone is accommodating and helpful.

Review from 10/2/15 on GoogleAug 2015: I VISIT a friend here and STILL get lost in this frickin' maze. This place has the WORST wayfinding signs -- stupid "you are here" graphs that still don't help. Parking is bad enough (the roads around it are not marked) but once you get inside a building, good luck actually finding your friend's place! The apartments are numbered so that something on the 2nd floor AND the 3rd and 4th floors start with a "3." Oh -- you're supposed to KNOW that it means "section 3," I guess? How unintuitive! They should color-code the sections OR paint frickin' maps on the walls of the long, gargantuan and LOUD hallways!

It's quiet and very secure with fob access required at every entry and floor to ceiling garage gates. It's flawlessly landscaped and kept clean and bug free. Office staff are professional, friendly and very responsive with usually same-day maintenance request completion. And the location couldn't be better--right across the street from a beautiful park with BeltLine access and five minutes to 85/75. Trust that I did my research, and this is by far the best community in the area for the price. And with the area being up and coming and bustling with new construction, it's just going to get better. Honestly, you couldn't ask for a better location. If you like being near all of the in town neighborhoods and trails you can't get any better. Both the newly finished beltline and the freedom trail are a short walk away and you are close to most of the other in town neighborhoods (Inman Park, VA Highlands, Candler Park, Little Five, and so on...). The complex sits on a beautiful park. If you like to run, walk, or have a dog you couldn't ask for more. I will have trouble matching these factors when I move.
