Sep 2015: These apartments are greatly priced and very spacious; however, I would not recommend this place to anyone. My air conditioning has been broke for over a month and has yet to get fixed. I have been soooooo nice about asking them to fix it and they always say someone is going over to do it but it has yet to get done. I pay rent on time every month and just expect better treatment than this. I paid rent for the month of August but haven't stayed in my place since July because it is just too hot. I shouldn't have to pay rent at a place that I can't even stay in. Its really ridiculous. The staff is fairly friendly but aren't holding up their end of the bargain. August is the hottest month of the year and it is unacceptable to have tenants without air.

May 2015: The rebirth of the Renaissance is upon us. The undesirables have been dealt with, the new renovations are almost in place, and things are settling down. Yes the changes have been a long time coming, but understand the changing process takes time. The staff has been doing their best to ease the transition, including introducing better deals. They have been friendly and hospitable the entire time my fiance and I have lived here. And we do finally get that high speed internet! It's definitely the best deal in Statesboro.

I WOULD not recommend this apartment to any college student! It was so unbearable, I had to leave before I lost the last bit of sanity I had. I did appreciate Tay though, she was very helpful and friendly.

Sep 2014: The Cove at Southern... Yes, I've lived here. The reviews are not accurate but close.
I will give you point and facts why I have an issue this complex.
Spring semester I signed a Financial Aid contract to from January to pay it up to May. They charged me late fees for something I already paid for on Junes rent because they said we owed half of May's rent.
Overages their were fair I thought, but they didn't let you know how they determined it.
The pest control was horrible and when I moved in they had roaches every where from previous tenants and a nasty, dingy, musty carpet.
They have a dog park but none of the feces seemed to remain their. I walk to class, so you have to mind where you walk. The owners don't pick it up!
It's a loud and boisterous neighborhood. Feb 2014: I lived here for about 3 years and had an overall good experience. The complex isn't far from campus at all, and its pretty close to the bus stops. I hear people say things that aren't true abt the complex sometimes, and I'm always the first to correct them. The maintenance team is pretty good at getting things done, the the people in the office are really nice and understanding. It's not a bad place... ESPECIALLY for the price. Works for me :)
