Oct 2019: I have been living here for four years now and I have enjoyed it each year. With the new renovation and all the amenities, it has only gotten better! I don’t know where I would find a better place to live in Statesboro.. The location is fantastic, the staff is amazing and I love all the events they do. I definitely recommend staying here. Oct 2019: I moved here in August and move in day was a little rough, but overall I think it’s a great place. The pool, bistro, gym, package delivery system, and included utilities are nice. However, my favorite amenity is the lake. The lake doesn’t look great but I can tell you that fish love it. The biggest bass I caught was about 5 lbs. So if you think about moving here, don’t forget your fishing rod. Also the shuttle driver, Mr. Bill, is one of the nicest people I’ve met. I’m glad I chose lakeview. Review from Google
Oct 2019: Great location, its near walmart, multiple restaurants, and a lake. They are always having fun events and contests for residents (e.g. take a break Thursdays, Wind down Wednesdays). Maintenance is quick and well mannered. They have never failed to fix an issue. The clubhouse staff is always happy to help with a smile on their faces. They also keep up the place, it stays clean and it has been recently renovated. Practically all the amenities are brand new. I’ve been here over two years and I'm extremely satisfied. Oct 2019: So happy that I decided to live here! It’s super convenient too that this is one of the VERY few apartments where the gate actually closes at night so You never have to worry about crime and our clubhouse is accessible 24/7 so I can just walk 5 min to my apartment after a late night study session and not have to drive to and from campus!
my only concern is that even in the contracts I signed it said that to live here you have to have student status of some kind but I’ve noticed whole families and people who are not students to any of the colleges are living here which is confusing to me that they would write that in their contracts but not adhere to it? Sep 2019: I thoroughly enjoy my stay here at Lakeview. My FAVORITE AMENITY is the 24 hour package pickup system. AMAZING. The renovations and updates to the property are by far the best I've seen for the price. Nice pool area, shuttle bus to campus, yoga room, gym, computer lab and study rooms, etc. Definitely a great apartment complex for students. Review from Google

Aug 2019: I’ve lived here at Lakeview for 3 years now and I’ve enjoyed staying here a lot! The front office staff is so nice and knowledgeable! Rebecca is the best as she is always nice and friendly! Management is also extremely helpful and understanding! Corey-Beth has helped me on multiple occasions and she is by far my favorite manager! I would recommend staying here to everyone I know! The walls are paper thin, I can hear neighbors yelling next door.
My a/c works for a few months, but then breaks.
MOLD. It started from the vent in the kitchen, now all in the living room & kitchen. Maintenance didn’t believe me, until I showed them multiple examples. Then told me that I need to clean it all up. That was the 1st time. Now, since my a/c was broken in the beginning of summer the mold is back. It is growing all over the walls as it pleases.
The air filter never gets changed on time plus the broken a/c so the humidity just makes the mold multiply.
My stove has broken twice & there was no urgency to fix it. With the stove & mold there was no real sense of urgency until one of our parents called. They won’t take our complaints seriously but don’t mind collecting our rent money Review from GoogleJul 2019: Lakeview has a horrible management and a tricky leasing office group. I signed a lease with them for early move in and then on the move in day I called to make sure that my place is ready, they said they don't have a room for me and that the early move in lease will be canceled. They said they will call me by the end of the week to confirm if they have a place for me but they never did. They really don't care at all about their promises or the customers. So this is by far the most half hearted dog park I've ever seen. It's a very small fenced in area that has NO shade for your dogs, no trees, no bushes, nothing. Just an open area that's fenced in. There's not even grass covering the whole area. Not to mention there is trash all around the complex itself. Not impressed by any means. Guess I just have to take my dog all the way across town to Mill Creek, because at least there are water fountains and a larger area WITH SHADE.

My appliance continually break. AC has broken twice, handle on the kitchen faucet broke, door handles break off, dryer has quit working, only working ethernet port is in my roommate's room where I have to keep the router i bought in, and the blinds aren't properly attached which resulted in me getting hit in the head by them falling. Mar 2018: The Grove is awesome! Management is incredibly nice and friendly. They work well with residents to address any problem that might come up!. They also do a ton of fun activities/ incentive parties for residents that are always enjoyable.
As far as the unit goes. The kitchen is wonderful with plenty of counter space and good appliances. Living quarters has a ton of space for varies activities! The Bedrooms are very spacious. So glad I resigned to live here next year! Review from Google

This new management is awful!! Especially the maintenance team. My bed frame had broke and I put in a work order to get fixed. They instead changed my mattress which was new, with a old DIRTY one. The bed frame still broke I might add. The next day come I put in another work order for my old mattress and new frame to come in. They replace the frame finally and this is the mattress they bring me.

Whenever I put in work orders they always get taken care of. When I do have complaints, which is rarely, they get addressed as soon as they can. The only thing I don't like is my unruly neighbors above but we all have those problems at some point. Otherwise great job to everyone here, you guys spoil me so how could I :) Within these next two years of living here I can only expect things to get better and the service to expand and become greater.
