Oct 2019: I absolutely love Hawthorne at Clairmont! The community events are a blast and the community as a whole is great. Quite area and the location works for me being off of the access road. I have run into a few problems but they were rectified as quickly as possible. And the community manager, Stephanie Carter, is always a delight! So quick to help with anything and always follows up. Sep 2019: The property is beautiful and the amenities are fantastic! Kiara took me on my tour and I absolutely LOVE HER! She was very knowledgeable and personable! Mar 2019: I’ve been living at Hawthorne for about a year and have enjoyed my stay without any major issues or concerns. I have seen a few staff changes and each member has been pleasant thus far. Of all the apartments I have stayed in over the years, I can honestly say that Hawthorn is the only one where people seem to know each other on a personal level. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie and Kiara at the community St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the clubhouse. Although the turnout was small, they both did a great job of keeping a positive and energetic attitude while treating each resident as a valued member of the community. The thing that stood out to me most was the effort that went into speaking to and learning each person’s name who came to the celebration.

Did I mention my neighbor was the new courtesy officer after the last courtesy officer moved when her apartment was broken into!!! I was told by the POLICE that the area is a target area for burglars!!! I wish someone told me this before I moved in. I moved here because it was full of young professional who work during the day, I just didn't know that left me vulnerable. Jul 2018: I've been a resident here for 4 months unfortunately. I highly regret that I decided to give it a chance after reading some of the negative reviews. When the weather is nice be it week day or weekend residents have pool parties and bbqs (drinks beer bottles hookah marijuana no telling what I didn't see) blasting the music as if no one else lives here. Of course it's been reported several times via courtesy officer and police, the management says they are working on it but I highly doubt that. If you love to party feel free to live at this community but if you are looking for a place that is comfortable and enjoyable without the disrespect keep looking. Your parking pass is 100 dollars your visitors have NO WHERE TO PARK cause if they park in a regular spot they will get booted or towed....no one in the leasing office knows what they are talking about cause they always state that "their new and still getting to know things they hire temps". The leasing agent, Reggie was incredibly nice and professional and definitely sold me on the place. The actual units themselves are very nice as well. Lots of space with super high ceilings and stainless steel appliances. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a place that's quiet, clean, and customer-service oriented. Oh and the pool is clean! I always judge a property by it's pool (among other things). It's one of those things that can be overlooked and neglected with all the other amenities, so when I see a place that has a nice clean pool, it says that they really care about the details. Review from 4/27/16 on Apartment RatingsDec 2015: DO NOT MOVE IN IT'S NOT SAFE. Our home recently was broken into on Christmas Eve. They just now got back to us telling us we are not able to move out. They still have not fix the window that was broken. They patch it up 48 hours later. The cameras they have in the property don't work and the gate is not monitored correctly more then one car comes in at a time. They told us they have a patrol officer during the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. That's a lie we have never seen anyone patrol and especially now we can't sleep because we are scared to be here we have checked for this patrol officer and no one is out there they really just do not care about their residents.

After moving in I am greeted everytime I enter the kitchen and laundry room large cockroaches Earwigs and sliver fish I have seen daily. I am waiting for pest control to come on Thursday.I cooked once in the kitchen I moved in Friday and started seeing roaches after that. Since I moved in I have seen at least 10 Earwigs or silverfish daily in cabinets, on kitchen counter , pantry, they were crawling on my paper towels even. I'm very uncomfortable. If the problem persists after the pest control comes not sure what I will do I can't live in conditions with bugs everywhere I look.
