Jun 2018: The employees of ASHFORD DRUID HILLS Apartments, are the most cynical people. Every time we have come to them asking them to have things fix in our apartment they tell us yes, but once we turn our back they start to laugh. We are tired that they don't do their job, the maintenance workers are useless. They seem not to know what their job consist off. Also the office workers are hypocrites, but yeah the rent payment must be made in time. 1412 C Review from Google
Jun 2018: I was living there for 5 years. I have seen three management company over there. But the recent one is worst compare to all others. If u really like to screw some one plz send him over there. There are cockroach everywhere & overall very old apartments. Though most of the staff respond nicely except one . I have to mentioned about the leasing specialist David. OH God plz help him. Anything u asked him would come with a rude answer by referring fair housing acts. Review from Google
May 2018: Wouldn’t suggest my worst enemy move here. Anybody is allowed to move in, maintenance is not quick. The Resident Relations office is a nightmare, good luck getting David to do anything for you. They always tell you apartments are old, so many apartments. Sounds like more people are needed to be technicians. They’ll charge you a fee even to stay, if you want a bigger unit!!! Review from Google
May 2018: I'm tired to go to the office to complain and my requests have been ignored. Cabinet doors don't close properly, bathroom ceiling is leaking. The last monday they had to come to wash my carpet and they did not come, this is realy unprofessional. Review from Google
May 2018: So, I am usually the person who reads reviews before moving in. I know that some of them can be exaggerated, but not informative. I will be moving out after a year, so here are some of my pro and cons. I hope this helps you. Pros: Location, used to be more inexpensive (rates going up by $70), nature, nice lake Cons: roaches small and large (sometimes they pay a visit every other day or sometimes it can be 1 or two weeks, but they are there, I've killed plenty to know), smell- apartment has had a gas smell for months and no one has done anything about it (I've been told that it is the smell from moisture so yea), lack of maintenance(requests have been ignored), things broken left broken (I had my furnace break down for about 3 wks in dec until i went personally to the office twice to complain that i was freezing my butt off), thermostat was m Review from Google
May 2018: I have lived here for 7 months and it is good and quiet. The rent is reasonable. Review from Google
Apr 2018: It's best to judge businesses, leasing agencies in particular, based on how they respond when things don't go as planned. My move in was complicated by circumstances arguably out of the leasing office's control and the staff did a terrific job addressing the situation. Stephanie in the leasing office seemed to have made it her mission to ensure that the remainder of my move-in went positively, and I'm grateful that she did. My experience over all has been fine. The apartment is good and the staff is friendly. I think their slogan "the Buckhead alternative" is certainly fair, because I get a great deal of access for a very reasonable price. I would recommend living here. Review from Google
Mar 2018: Staff has improved over the last few month's. My experience is nothing like it was before. Thank you for making the residence much better. Review from Google

Feb 2018: There are always bugs in your apartment no matter how much cleaning you have done, how often you have thrown the kitchen waste, or how many times you have requested pest control service. You can always be frightened by huge cockroaches everywhere of your home especially the kitchen area. You can also find spider web appears from nowhere. The management team is not responsive. They never answer phone calls during office hours, never respond to your voice message, or rarely reply emails (probably one month later since you sent it out). If they tell you in face or leave any message to ask you call them back if there is any question, you’d better ask a leave from your work and go to the leasing office talk with them directly, because you will never get your problem answered or solved by calling them. Feb 2018: Up-update - We've had two people be kind to us now! Upgraded to two stars, and we look forward to changing it again if our move out is pain free enough, considering. Update - This situation is not an exception, it is the typical experience here. I have already addressed these issues, all you have to do is hire someone to answer the phone, or respond to voice mails, or read and respond to maintenance requests. Why is there no one to answer the phone during office hours? I'd like to pay rent today but your website is down again. Has there been a fire or robbery? Do you need medical attention? Has the phone bill been paid? I realize my problems are trivial if there has been some tragedy that prevents everyone there from doing their job, let us know when the situation has been resolved? Feb 2018: I WAS ROBBED AT GUNPOINT right in front of the stairs that lead up to my unit. Other than that I will say this is the first negative review I have ever sent in my life for real I have never thought any experience was bad enough to go to the trouble but I will outline the pros and cons in a bulleted (No pun intended) list for your convenience: PROS: • Beautiful Lake • Nice Grounds • Great Location for price and sq footage • Renewal rent only went up $50 • Big porch • Garbage disposal • Decent pool • AC never broke • Toilet never broke CONS: • Our ceiling has water damage from a leaky pipe that they painted over when we asked for them to fix it • Bath tub liner/paint has ripped out in patches and when they repainte Review from Google

Jan 2018: It has now been 10 days and my building is still without lights in the stairwell. I have reported it to the office, requested a work order, been to the office numorse times to check on the order, and have been told each time it would be fixed by the end of the day. As we all know, it gets dark around 6 pm. I should not have to fear walking in and out of my home because it is pitch black dark, I should not have to scramble and search for my keys or a flashlight, nor worry about tripping on the steps because I can not see. Ashford druid hills has to do better. If you're reading this with interest in moving in to these apartmentsents " don't DO IT." Maintenance sucks, nothing ever gets fixed, or it takes forever, the apartments are old and falling apart, the floors creak when you walk, bathtubs are painted, you will have roaches, and the walls a Review from Google
Dec 2017: There's so much I could say, but I'll try my best to keep it short and to the point. I moved to Atlanta in August and this community seemed ideal. The location and price really attracted me. Kita, my leasing agent was amazing. Very respectful and helpful, she made the transition such a breeze! However, upon moving in I noticed the apartment wasn't clean. The windows were filthy, the bathroom was dirty and the baseboards were really dusty. I got over it, I'm a full time graduate student, and needed a place to stay. Moving forward, in September we noticed our kitchen ceiling leaking and a bubble in the wall. It was caused from a "flood" upstairs. We contacted maintenance and the leasing office. Yes, it was "fixed" (they really covered it with some new paint) but the water also damaged our cabinets and the food in our cabinets. Here's the icing Review from Google
Dec 2017: The residential affairs team is amazing. If you ever need anything they are there to help, just don’t call because there’s a good chance no one will answer. They are attentive, helpful, and understanding. They made my year being there manageable. If the pest issue could have been eliminated and I could have parked closer to my unit late at night I would definitely still be there. Review from Google
Dec 2017: I've had one employee not be a jackass to me. We were shown and inspected a different apartment than we were moved into, the back door still doesn't work and there was feces on the bathroom wall. We were told a stoplight was being installed when we asked about not being able to make a left turn to exit during traffic. They fixed the dishwasher and kitchen sink clogs the first week. They have not fixed the holes in the wall from the window install vendors who were given access without notice to us, they trashed both bedrooms. They "lost" their copy of our key and left a nasty note demanding a copy or pay a fine, though they were still able to enter to service and turn on AC... They refuse to fix the broken shower faucet, scalding water is eroding the tub, faucet, drain, lining, floor. They refuse to acknowledge the black mold infecting Review from Google
Nov 2017: I lived there for 3 years. The maintenance was slow. The bugs are terrible no matter how to do the cleaning. The most terrible thing was, after I moved out, I got call from debt company that I owe the community $600+ and they explain as it's the last month of rent. But in fact I paid the rent in full. After I checked several round with community and debt company. It ends up with the community had a mistake. However, I owe the community about 20 bucks, which was from the wrong calculation of the last months did by a manager from the community. When she did it I was in the leasing office with my friends, the manager use a calculator and do the calculation more than half an hour. I paid the amount from her calculation but it still ends with wrong thing. Anyway, I am unsatisfied with this community! Review from Google
Jun 2017: Great location, affordable rent. There are several pools. The homes are in good condition. Pretty standard apartment amenities. Review from 6/9/17 on Google
Jun 2017: This is literally the worst complex ever. I suggest you think twice maybe three times about leasing here. I can't not wait until my lease is up in January, I will not be releasing. Since I've moved in it's been problem after problem after problem. I've been told that it can't be fixed because the maintenance crew sucks. There nothing this complex can do to change my mind I'd rather live in east Atlanta than to live at this crappy apartment complex. Who in the worlds runs this community. Not A Happy Resident! Review from 6/3/17 on Google
Jun 2017: Management is extremely slow to fix problems. Not a well maintained complex. They don't take care of their residents and their buildings very well and do not attempt to make a strong community feel. They need to be more on top of pest control. Really don't want to swim in a pool that constantly has geese in it along with their droppings. Overall, cheap place but really not worth it - from a guy who loves being cheap. Review from 6/1/17 on Google
May 2017: I have lived at Ashford Druid Hills for about 2 years now, and am looking forward to leaving when my lease is up. Rent increased after 1 year by ~$150 which isn't a ton, but also annoying. Rent isn't incredibly expensive but I don't feel like I'm getting my $$s worth. Apartments are not amazing quality, outlets installed crooked, water spots beginning in the ceiling, screws falling off, cheap carpet, cheap laminate in the kitchen. Roaches are a fact of life here it seems, large and small. Pest control has claimed to come to our unit twice in the last month, but this has not happened. Review from 5/20/17 on Google
May 2017: The day I moved in I had an infestation of German cockroaches. This was bad for about 8 months and we couldn't get out of the lease. It took them forever to even care to do anything about it. It was disgusting. The pest control guys that we have are really great, especially XXXX and his dad! Ive recently put in 4 maintenance requests to get our shower fixed and it took them a long time to come to fix it. Rent is priced decently for the area so that's a plus. There is always trash outside from people being careless. Review from 5/5/17 on Google
Apr 2017: Lived here since August. This is an old apartment complex with approximately 1000 units. There are two sides and the lake side is poorly managed. Structurally, there are many things to be improved such as electrical, ventilation and windows and doors and appliances. The community seems to feel safe but caution could be needed. Community laundry is extremely gross. It is never maintained well and clothes are not exactly clean even after a wash. Card machine for the laundry seems to break often and 5 dollar increment charging is no longer available. Review from 4/13/17 on Google
Mar 2017: Let me start off saying the location is perfect for the price compared to other apartments in the area. The move in was such a hassle, but XXXX in the front office was AMAZING!!! That lady needs a raise for the hard work she puts in. The apartments are old, but with the remodeling you can't tell much. I have a basic and you wouldn't know it! The maintenance is always fast! I was scared reading reviews, but I haven't had a problem with getting anything fixed the next day. The neighborhood is nice, losts of kids, but I never hear any noise beside the Latin party that goes on everyday! Review from 3/19/17 on Google
Mar 2017: I just wanted to put my opinion on Ashford Druid Hills out there because when I was looking for apartments all the reviews were pretty old. The thing about Ashford Druid Hills was when I started my lease there last April it was pretty cheap, a 2 bedroom 1 bath for 1065 + the 100 dollars in random tack on fees and such. It's in a good area, close to a lot of things, shopping, good food. So when stuff popped up I just kinda was like oh well this is what you get for paying less money monthly, no big deal.
