Oct 2019: Everything about Parkway lofts is fantastic. I was in need of finding an apartment very quickly and had gone to lots of other complexes in hopes of finding an apartment of great quality while also not wanting to break the bank. Everything on their website is accurate (pictures, descriptions) and what I enjoyed most about this place in comparison to the others, was the front desk staff who helped me immediately and did everything in their power to accomodate my wants/needs. Another big thing that stood out to me was their pricing of not only the unit itself, but all the other amenities and fees that come with getting an apartment. Before I came across this apartment complex I was discouraged because of how much extra money other places were charging on base rent, pet fees, amenities, and a monthly parking pass (which at Parkway Lofts they do not charge you for a monthly parking pass which is incredible Review from Google Oct 2019: I actually don't understand why people have posted so many poor reviews. The mantinence is responsive and fast, amenities are nice, location is awesome, pricing is competitive, and the office staff is awesome. They've held packages for me, are always happy to help, and are just friendly all around. Only thing I can complain about, is the location may be a little too good. I'm feeling the trains as they go by, being on the top floor, and in the building closest to the train tracks, there's quite a shake at least daily. Review from Google Sep 2019: Moving out has been the biggest pain you could ever imagine. They told us all these fees we had to pay that we were told weren’t part of our contract. They’ve double charged us for rent twice. They also charged me for rent when I moved out over a week ago. The staff is rude and doesn’t seem to like or care about their job or actually making sure the residents are happy. All that seems to matter is getting more and more people to live there as I’ve been hung up on simply because someone showed up to tour the place. Review from Google Sep 2019: After an incredibly difficult attempt to set up a corporate account with a different complex, Parkway Lofts has been incredibly helpful and easy to work with. They have great communication and been very responsive thus far. Thank you! Review from Google Sep 2019: Cami did an amazing job at answering all of our questions and getting us all the help that we needed to get moved in and settled. Very friendly staff and great location to get around Orem. I have been very pleased with what I have seen so far with the Parkway Lofts. Review from Google Aug 2019: Cami was very accommodating and willing to work with us on the lease. Apartments are clean and updated with great cabinets, fixtures and appliances. Great security and safety programs. Location can’t be beat for a UVU student. Close to campus shuttle and front runner. My only suggestion to management is to be very clear about all the “extra little†fees that are not included in the rental price. Review from Google Jul 2019: Lived at parkway for a year! Dog poop everywhere, elevators smell like pee, so pretty but super overpriced, tiniest visitor parking section I’ve ever seen, drug deals all over (downstairs neighbor got arrested with guns and every drug you can imagine), kinda ghetto. Maintenance doesn’t ever really keep up with all the nasty stuff you see in hallways/elevators/stairwells. Old management gave us a garage that was someone else’s, not sure new management is any better from what I’ve heard. Half of the amenities you’d expect to enjoy while living there are broken most of the time, and I got chemical burns from the hot tub after they said it was safe and balanced (this was new management). not worth the prices they charge! Review from Google Jul 2019: Every person who works in management will each tell you a completely different story regarding your contract. Never on the same page. Screw up and screw you over time and time again and will never apologize for it. not worth the hassle they put you through to clean up their consistent messes with the most basic things. They have one job and none of them know how to do it well. Review from Google Jul 2019: Every person who works in management will each tell you a completely different story regarding your contract. The apartments are so nice and reasonably priced, nicest place we’ve lived at. We love all the amenities! Review from Google Jun 2019: My roommates and I have lived here 3 years and we love it. Review from Google Jun 2019: I gave them a notice to move out and ended up extending my lease as short term. They said I wouldn't need to fill out another 60 day notice but just let them know I'm moving since it's a month to month deal. New management came in and now they say I do need 60 days so I am stuck here for two more months and they will not do anything to help. They tow cars that have parking passes. They fine and charge you in any and every way possible. Do not live here. This has hands down been the worst experience I have ever had in an apartment complex and I will not recommend them to anyone.
Staff has never been helpful. The last time I asked for help was when I reserved the bowling ally. I invited some family over and it wasn't working. The girl who was working the front desk was currently helping someone else, so I waited 30 minutes patiently. Once she was finished, I politely asked for her help and she then informed me that she was closed and to call the number on the wall Review from Google Jun 2019: I gave them a notice to move out and ended up extending my lease as short term. My parents were out for only 10 minutes!! taking my sisters dog out and got booted for $80 each with the worst towing company. They were super rude and they just want to take your money. Very disappointed. Review from Google May 2019: This apt complex has been a NIGHTMARE! Somebody was shot and killed here while we lived there and they basically did nothing about it. They will rob you of every penny. Ended up paying in total about $1500 a month for a one bedroom. And for move out i[m getting charged over $1300. $1000 for "damages" (including 500 to paint the whole apartment) and paying for the keys that i turned in but they said i didn't. I even called a few days before and talked to Lisa who told us everything with the keys was okay. And calling corporate and speaking to Melanie wasn't very helpful. She said she will verify the charges and that she can put us on a "payment plan". You get the worst customer service ever. Staff is rude and incompetent. Apt are horribly built so you can hear every footstep and people in the hallway. And there is dog crap everywhere. Please don't get fouled by the Apr 2019: Inside of the rooms are very nice and cool looking. Too expensive for what you get unless you're sharing the space with a buddie or roommates. I'm not a fan of the open air hallways & stairs. It gets pretty cold during the winter, and can be a shock when you open the door to venture out. They do have cool features like the pool and recreation room, but it was difficult to get it when there wasn't already a bunch of people there. Review from Google Mar 2019: I strongly suggest you do not pay the $199 while they process your application (this is supposed to be just to hold the unit for up to 14 days... it isn't part of the application fee). First, I want to say I was approved, this isn't about being a disgruntled applicant. What I am very, very upset about is that I exercised the 48 hour option of not taking the apartment after reading other reviews and now they tell me it will take 3 to 4 weeks to refund my $199. I was never told this nor did I sign anything when I handed them a check (which is the only form of payment they accept). Well now I know why. don't be pressured into paying because "the units go fast and it won't be available if you wait". As it turns out, they have lots of openings and more and more people are leaving after the shooting incident. I read their claim "that the people involved didn't even live there". I don't care if they live there or not, that didn't stop it from happening Review from Google Mar 2019: Clean and modern with nice amenities. Some of the staff are really great and others not so much. They really like booting cars here which I wouldn’t do if I owned the complex. Most of the tenets here really oppose that policy. The garbage valet service do a good job but I don’t think they work weekends. Overall a good place with room for improvement. Review from Google Mar 2019: I’ve never lived in a place with more complicated/confusing management. None of the staff are on the same page. It’s a shame, because the apartments themselves are super nice, the location is awesome, and the amenities are great. The management is very kind, but do not communicate well with residents. Also, I’ve lived here for two months, and I’ve counted seeing the cops here 9 times. Not just a cop car, but multiple cop cars, and swat team hummers. One day the entire complex was shut down by the police with the swat team had MASSIVE guns. A week later I found out that there had been an active shooter. No one was hurt thankfully. Last week a drug deal was caught and a separate robbery took place in building A. Yesterday there was an assault. Parkway Lofts communicated NONE of this to us. Shouldn’t they send out a warning to inform residents and have them lock their doors? At least for the active shooter?!? Feb 2019: I have lived here for just about a month, and I have lived in multiple apartments in the past. I can honestly say that living here has been one of the best experiences I have had yet. Starting with the part EVERYBODY dreads... and that is...the steps of "getting approved" and the general "move in". One of the easiest move ins I have ever had. So easy, and just all around taken care of. Next would have to be the staff is so friendly and so understanding when issues come up and willing to work with you. You honestly feel so valued here, they really take care of you.
There is nothing better than being proud of where you live and being excited to come home everyday. The Apartment itself is modern, sleek, spacious and feels like home.
I would recommend anybody to live here. If you like being seen as an asset, and someone who is important, instead of just a number that they have to "take care of" then you would consider Parkway Lofts Review from Google Feb 2019: Took a tour today at parkway lofts with their representative Cami Hone and WE LOVED IT! She was very professional, nice, genuine, and also answered all of our questions. We were honestly so impressed and filled out an application right after the tour. Their apartments are amazing and we can’t wait to move in. THANKS CAMI! Best tour we’ve ever had. Feb 2019: The apartments are nice and spacious. They have more amenities than you could even imagine! Cami was very helpful and knowledgeable on my visit with her positive attitude and graciousness she answered all my questions. Review from Google
