Hi, Loading...

Aug 2019: I have lived at this apartment for 3 out of the 5 years that I lived in Knoxville and there is a reason why. This apartment complex is great. The staff is friendly, maintenance requests get done quickly, the apartments are great, and the price is wonderful if you have a roommate. This is the apartment to live in in Knoxville and you will not be disappointed. Review from Google
May 2019: Disappointed!! The moving in process was easy and the leasing office staff was very supportive every step of the way. However, 6 months into my rent, the management realized that the balcony of my apartment needed repairs. The first notice banned access to the balcony for a couple of months. Two months in, the maintenance team comes to my balcony and breaks pieces of wood off the wall and leaves them on the floor. Three months in, I still have no access to the balcony, and no repairs are in the works. Depsite multiple inquiries to management, no progress after 4 months of waiting. Estimated time of starting the maintenance was supposed to be this week. It is Thursday and still no signs of any upcoming work. Four months without access to my balcony, and they refunded less than $30 for a couple of months (not even worth the square footage of the balcony). I missed all spring and the chance to work on my plants outdoors Review from Google
May 2019: I have lived at The Henley for a little over a year now and I would recommend this place to anyone. The maintenance needed is very low but when needed it is met within 24 hrs. The office staff is nothing but friendly and go out of their way to help you. There are some problems with dog poop but there have been emails sent out and it seems to be clearing up. The only issue I have ever had was with parking but the complex just repaved and it seems to have added more spots so parking is no longer an issue. Again, I would recommend this place to anyone!! They are amazing!! Review from Google
Oct 2018: Money hungry and overpriced students and young professionals stay away Review from Google
Sep 2018: Moved into my apartment, any and all issues were resolved quickly. Also great distance to campus for student life, and quiet enough to study. Review from Google
May 2018: LOVE the Henley! Lived here for 2 years and very sad to be moving out. The staff is so wonderful and made us feel very welcome from the day we moved in. The pool, gym, and grounds in general are always kept clean. We always felt safe. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will miss the Henley greatly! Review from Google
Apr 2018: Overall this place isn’t a bad place to live. Nice apartments, and I never had a big problem with management. If you’re looking for a quiet or private place to live, this isn’t the place for you. Me & my girlfriend lived on the very top floor, and downstairs neighbors would blast music until 5am. As it is mostly college students going to UT that live there. You could literally feel and hear it through the floors. Then had the audacity to knock on our door and confront us about “Walking too loud.” The floors are very creaky, and do not feel very sturdy. The balcony view was pretty nice, but was also, not very sturdy feeling. Especially when there were multiple people on it at once. Not the best place of you have a large animal like a dog. The apartments look very open and inviting on the floor plan pictures, but once you see it in per Review from Google
Nov 2017: I would not recommend renting from this place while Rebecca Sexton is the manager. She is a snake and will take advantage of you and find any excuse to make an extra buck from you. Particularly students who have not had much experience in lease contracts. I had been moved out for several months before my lease was up and she had been informed in person many times and was well aware that the apartment was vacant because I tried to get her to walk the apartment with me before I found a sub-leaser. I had spoke with her many times about the sub-leasing process so she knew the apartment was vacant and I was looking to fill it. She ended up adding me to a month to month, with an increased rent rate, lease after our contract was up because she didn't receive written notice within 60 days before our contract ended which said we were moving out then a Review from Google

Oct 2017: I would give this place zero stars if I could. The rent was way too expensive for what I received; the amenities seem nice but upon closer inspection are incredibly cheap. The floors and walls are thin. One night a wine-drunken woman from downstairs came up and, I quote, asked us to "stop walking so much." My lease ended in August and in October I still had not received my security deposit. I called to ask about this and was told that my roommate and I would both be receiving around $100. Later, I had to call again because nothing happened and was told that I would receive a call back. One week after THAT, I called and was told that it was "absorbed by unpaid pet fees." I had been told when I signed my lease that I'd paid the pet fees. Why wasn't I told that I hadn't for the entire YEAR I lived there?? Also, I just received a call saying that Review from Google
Aug 2017: DO NOT RENT FROM THE HENLEY. I had the worst experience subleasing from them. First off, the price you pay for a one bedroom (over $800 a month) is not worth the quality you receive. The floors are so thin that you can hear people above you talking and especially when they are walking around their apartment. It sounded like a heard of elephants parading around above me. Secondly, the staff in the office is terrible. I moved out in April and did a walk through of the apartment. The leasing agent said everything was fine and that was all I needed to do. By June, I had still not received my $500 security deposit back. It took me over a month to get an answer from someone in the office about my money and when I finally received the check (at the end of July) it was not in the amount that I had thought it would be. When I reached back out to the l Review from Google
Apr 2017: Great place to live. Rented here when it was called Woodmeade South. Great location and nice office staff. Clean apartments and awesome pool. Close to downtown, campus and the interstate. Loved walking downtown from here! Review from 4/26/17 on Google
Feb 2017: Just moved here. Everything is great. The staff is nice and the amenities are amazing. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because it seems that everyone around here doesn't like to pick up after their pets. It's a minefield if you step off the sidewalk Review from Google
Aug 2016: I have enjoyed my experience so far at the Henley. The staff are helpful and will do their best to fix requests. Some of the advertised specials are a little confusing and different than what they say it is, but they do not try to blindside you with additional fees. Overall the grounds and the apartments are clean and beautiful! And being less than five minutes away from downtown makes it a perfect location. Review from 8/16/16 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2016: I have lived here for more than a year and I absolutely love it! It's not only beautiful, lush, green and peaceful and less than 5 minutes from downtown but also the staff is friendly and accommodating (and I'm talking the administration AND the maintenance team). Plus, it's the most pet-friendly place I've ever found. The maintenance team responds quickly and solves problems with a smile. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home, and the renovations are beautiful. I can't imagine a better place to live. We've got residents of all ages, ethnic and racial groups, and lifestyles and I think that's a major plus! Review from 7/21/16 on Apartment Ratings
Oct 2015: Awesome atmosphere to live. Accommodation is tremendous for individuals that live here. It has a great view for the prices they offer and they are responsible. Review from 10/22/15 on Google
Oct 2015: All but two of my maintenance requests have been completed almost immediately. The property is mostly quiet and always well maintained. We really like it here. Review from 10/17/15 on Google
Oct 2015: The only reason I give 2 stars is because the maintaine people were WONDERFUL as was the location. Also, the granite and new appliances were nice. However "the boss" Alan is a very rude man when it comes to customer service. My boyfriend and I lived here together and had many issues such as old a/c units and water heater. Ours broke causing water to pump out and creating a $300 KUB bill. Had to pay extra money for a washer and dryer and the rent ended up being much more than the advertised $750 at the time. Many leaks and mold issues in our kitchen. Review from 10/2/15 on Google
Sep 2014: These are the only apartments in knoxville worth looking at and living in. very spacious, very close to campus and downtown, and friendly staff. There is a nice ratio between students, families, and professionals. the maintenance men are friendly and funny. It is a little on the pricey side but it is worth it, there are two pools, a gym, and two laundry facilities on site! To top it off its just a stroll to downtown. This place is quiet as well...They are very strict on noise policies- we have yet to have a noise issue. SO- if you are a student, professional wanting to live close to downtown, or a family this is the place for you. p.s. its always a good sign when the people who work here, live here- which some do. Sep 2014: Living here was a great experience. I lived here for 2 years during college and would recommend it to anyone. All of the staff went above and beyond what you would expect for a staff crew at an apartment complex. Amenities are great, especially the 2 pools! Everyone in the office knew me by name, and when something in the apartment needed a repair, the maintenance guys were there in no time. The price of rent here is well worth the comfort of good management. Review on Google from 8 months ago
