Jan 2018: THE GOOD: The front office staff has been really awesome- very friendly and helpful. friendly staff. I've been living downtown the last two years and am so excited to have more square footage, walls and doors, a balcony, and quiet/privacy. I honestly expected a lot of noise and haven't heard a peep out of my neighbors. The "deluxe" units are much nicer than the older units, though some of the improvements are shoddy coverups. The wood laminate floors, plushy new carpet, and new appliances are great; overall the deluxe looks a lot more modern. I feel like we're getting so much more for our money now- we're paying less in rent and getting more space plus a ton of amenities for it. Excited to use the pool and tennis courts this summer. THE BAD: There is dog poop everywhere (though the office staff told me they're going to start DNA swabbing peo Review from Google
Jan 2018: I loved living here! The office staff was always so friendly and quick to help. Sure there's some noise occasionally, but this is an apartment complex! What do people expect? I only complained once and the staff was so quick to respond and resolve the issue. The grounds are well kept and I loved the pool. Great place to live. Definitely would recommend! Review from Google
Jan 2018: I've lived here for nearly a year now. Although there has been some management changes, they still seem to do a good job. The very few maintenance requests I've had to put in have been taken care of in a timely manner. In fact, I had a leaking ceiling from the apartment above me on a Sunday. I called the emergency line and within 5 minutes someone was here to fix the problem. I think it's a great place to live! I also like that they put on little community events to meet new people! Nov 2017: I visited this complex 11/10/17 and was very impressed from the moment I arrived. The grounds were well kept and complex was very welcoming!! We walked in the leasing office and immediately greeted by two, lovely and professional ladies. After about ten minutes I learned the townhouse I was looking for would not be available in the time frame I needed, I’m relocating from Northwest Indiana, but the staff went above and beyond to offer me other options by trying to think of other properties throughout Knoxville that may have what I need. In addition, I was provided a rental guide for area which was a huge help. I would definitely consider Elevation in my future!! Review from Google
Nov 2017: We loved living at Elevation Apartments. We needed a short term lease (3 month) which is hard to find-for a travel work assignment. I was hesitant to rent here because of all the negative reviews. But of all the apartments I called Elevation was the nicest and quickest to answer my many questions. I found out they were under new management and had newly renovated apartments so after lots of "looking around" decided to sign the lease here. We are very glad we did. The location is perfect, the girls in the office are wonderful, maintenance was quick to fix things. We used the amenities(pool, tennis courts, gym) almost everyday to get energy out of our 3 boys! We were sad to leave and would recommend Elevation to anyone needing a short term (or long) lease! Review from Google
May 2017: If I could have done it all over again I would have lived on the streets. This place is terrible. The rent is outrageous for the quality of apartments. I have had to have the exterminator comes 4 times for roaches. They change management constantly. The maintenance service takes forever to get things done. The front staff never has a clue to what is going on. We have had one occasion where there has been gunshots near our apartment. Cabinets are falling apart. My back door leaks and doesn't shut which was never fixed. A cracked front window that I told management about and now almost a year later still has not been fixed. Kitchen drawers falling out. They say newly renovated and all they did was throw some cheap paint on the kitchen cabinets and new carpet. The pools are disgusting. Not maintained at all. The dog park is a joke.
Feb 2017: To the person who posted the last review, you have a new staff that wants to help. Please call us on Monday. Whitney Bowman Assistant Community Director
Jul 2016: I have lived here for nearly 4 years and honestly other than it being a decent price and location, the management is pretty awful. The pools are never clean and the maintenance always do a mediocre job at fixing things. They just raised the washer and dryer price from 1.25 to 1.50 recently although they didn't upgrade them nor do half of them usually work. The dryers don't even dry your clothes and the online system has gone down numerous of times. Overall poor management and bad maintenance. Nice people and great location are the only good things. May 2016: I have loved living here. The environement is very homey, and the best apartments are further back in the complex where there are more trees and less traffic. The only issue I had living here were bugs. When we moved in two years ago, we had a problem with cockroaches, but we were on the first floor so they get in easier. The office was great and sent someone to come spray our apartment every three months and then as needed if we saw one. We have not seen A SINGLE BUG since they put in brand new doors and windows Fall 2015 and have also seen a decrease in our electricity bill! Review from 5/3/16 on Google
Apr 2016: I have lived here for the past two years while finishing up my junior and senior year at UT, so I have a lot to say about this place. THE GOOD: These apartments have a really friendly staff. The people working at the office are nice and will work with you to help solve any problems you have. The apartments themselves are nice and have up-to-date appliances, clean carpets, and newly installed windows and patio doors. The grounds are well kept and the landscaping is nice. Oct 2015: I moved into a renovated 1 br in August and it is pretty cool New countertops and the cabinets are updated with appliances. The rent is good for the pace we get about 800. Only down side is no washer dyer hookups..but good laundry center. Move in was easy and Oliver in the office made it pretty simple to get electric and cable hooked up, Only had a few maintenance issues..mainly just loose doorknobs, and a garbage disposal..both were fixed same day. Work guys were cool and friendly. Office staff seems to be happy crew and like what they do..very friendly and seemed to care. Good place to live..we are only moving because we bought a house..Great location and good prices..we were happy. Review from 10/14/15 on Apartment Ratings
Aug 2015: I hate to be the one to do this, but anyone considering Country Oaks should find somewhere else to go. They are rude and they do not think about the resident first. First of all, the pet rent goes to nothing. So you are paying 300 dollars to literally have your pet in the same house as you. It gets applied to nothing upon moving out. Second of all, you will have a damage fee no matter what. We cleaned that place as much as we could and have the ability to and still ended up with another 500 dollar damage fee due to "dirty toilets and dirty appliances". Third of all, before moving out we had a set date that THEY TOLD US they would be walking through the apartment as they were all apartments as just a routine inspection Review from 8/21/15 on Apartment Ratings
May 2015: I have lived here for 6 years and I can say it is a good place to live. Just met the new property manager (Kay? Kim?) and she seems genuinely concerned about making it an even better place to live. The staff Leah and Oliver are always helpful and maintenance is prompt even when I had an a/c problem last week. Only down side is parking..can get really tight sometimes...maybe they can add more? I use the pool a lot and its always clean. The fitness center needs a new treadmeill..not sure what happened to the one they had. They do take big dogs..my Labrador was fat but they still took him. don't like the pet rent, but not everybody abides by the rules. Wish we had a different water system too..never know what to pay from month to month except when I get a bill. Maybe they will change that..hope so! Review from 05/27/15 on Apartment Ratings
Nov 2013: My Husband an I moved to Country Oaks in May of last year and just recently moved out last week. Unfortunately we had to break our lease but have purchased a new home so had too. Country Oaks was VERY GOOD TO US AND OUR FAMILY! The staff....Melissa, Tiffany, Stephanie and Devon were not only wonderful but I now call them friends. Maintenance was also just as nice and prompt. This was my Husbands very first experience in an apartment complex and I was concerned how he would adapt. Needless to say due to the sincere professionalism of this group and its establishment he had a wonderful stepping stone there! We truly love the staff and everything they did for us and our family. May 2013: I love living here! As a single woman living on her own, I feel safe and quite comfortable here. The apartment is very spacious, and I have never had trouble finding parking by my apartment. It is overall a pretty quiet neighborhood. The office staff is friendly and professional, and the facilities are kept clean. The new fitness facility is quite nice and has just been upgraded to include fitness classes. For what the price includes, I am very happy at Country Oaks and always recommend it to friends and acquaintances looking for a nice place, with decent square footage that's in a great location right by the interstate and just a short drive from downtown. Plus, they let me paint my walls. Review from 05/17/13 on Apartment Ratings
