Apr 2016: I used to live at the oaks and I wish I still did. The five minute drive time I saved wasn't worth it. My new place couldn't even tell me where the trash compactor was and I'm getting charged for valet trash when they don't even pick up the trash. My roommate and I both recommend the oaks, it just feels like home and you will grow to love it. The maintenance staff always took care of any requests pretty quickly. XXXX, the community manager, is super friendly and always ready to help; her personality just brightens your day. Brandon, the leasing consultant, was not only good to look at but he could make anyone laugh even when you're having the worst day ever.

Apr 2016: When I first moved into The Oaks the first thing that struck me was the price. Out of all the places around my area that I visited, The Oaks were the most affordable with the best looking apartments . Aside from the price, the staff really stood out to me as very friendly, lively and very helpful. The complex is beautiful and the grounds are kept up regularly. I would recommend The Oaks to anybody looking for a place around this side of Charlotte.

The maintenance staff takes the time to wave hello and always have a smile. The few times we have needed a maintenance call, they have been fixed quickly and correctly. The newly renovated apartments are great. Bluetooth speakers in the kitchen are awesome, and I love having ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. Our dog loves the dog park they put in and we visit it a lot. I am so happy we chose The Oaks and hope you do too!

Nov 2015: We have lived here for 5 years and couldn't be happier. The Oaks community is conveniently located near the main highways and shopping centers. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff has made this a pleasant experience.

Oct 2015: DO NOT MOVE HERE!! THEY CARE MORE ABOUT THEIR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS THAN THE WELL BEING OF THE PEOPLE WHO CALL THIS PLACE HOME! JUST THIS MORNING I AM BEING WOKEN UP BY LOUD HAMMERING AND DRILLING AT 8am! THIS HAPPENS AT LEAST EVERY OTHER DAY!!! NOT EVERYONE WORKS DURING THE DAY! SOME OF US WORK AT NIGHT AND NEED OUR REST!! IF YOU MOVE HERE, AS SOON AS ONE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS MOVES OUT, good luck BECAUSE THERE WILL BE CONSTANT NOISE!! I WOULD SAY THIS IS THE TOP 5 WORST PLACES TO LIVE IN CHARLOTTE!!!!!!

Oct 2015: I've been here for 2 years and I really enjoy living here....The only thing i didn't care for were the frogs during the warmer weather, other than everything else is great. The maintenance guys are quick to fix and Mr. _____ is very helpful... The staff team are great!

Dec 2014: The oaks is a very nice place to live. It is in a very convenient location; accessible to both route 85 and route 77. Northlake mall is only a few miles away and Walmart, harris teeter (right across the street) and food lion are all very close.
