She seemed to be very well informed and had an unforgettable positive attitude about both her job and life in general. Aug 2017: Stay away! I wish i could give them a big ZERO! The front office people are extremely rude and manipulative. We spoke to two people there - Vanessa and Julie (their manager). We were asked to sign on an agreement even without finalizing on the apartment. They portrayed that the apartments are in huge demand and hence, we might loose it if don't end up paying the admin fees & Security deposit. We ended up signing the application fee in the hope that we would get the desired apartment. Things reversed after we paid. Employees started treating us very rudely. Later we decided not to move to Phillips. Even without finalizing on the apartment and date, vanessa sent us an lease document and asked us to sign it. When we called up and asked as how they decided on the apartment and start date, they LITERALLY started YELLING over the phone. This is th Review from Google
Apr 2017: The best place to Live for years, friendly maintenance team and cooperative management team. We lived for pasted one year, never had any problem with apt, the maintenance men were at our service within 2hr from the time we complained. So fast and free of cost to most of it.
The only problem I feel is dog poo, only few residents don't dump is properly. The good part is all the residents are friendly and decent. nice gym,pool and library we can actually spent time.

Location of facility is perfect and shopping and recreational activities are within arms reach. Staff and maintenance are incredibly friendly and the leasing agent whom I spoke with, Vannessa, had an outstanding personality and was spot on with her knowledge on the apartment complex. Very enthusiastic and you can really tell she loves her job. Overall, I rate this facility 5 stars. Would enjoy to live here when the time comes.

Mar 2017: Phillips Mallard Creek is wonderful! Reading the reviews, I myself was kind of skeptical about leasing here at first, but I spoke to XXXX who did a wonderful job through it all. It has been a while since I encountered such outstanding customer service, and she definitely got it! She was so sweet and genuine with me and my entire family. I definitely plan on leasing here soon as my job transfers. I would love working XXXX, and her only.

She practically pushed me out of the office as I was trying to get a tour and information on these apartments. She never gave the tour, handed me a piece of paper, never answered any questions, and told me to have a nice day. Let's just say I won't be renting an apartment from this location.

The entire staff at the office as well as the maintenance team are very friendly and nice. They always greet me with a smile and are always a great help. Phillips Mallard Creek always makes me feel like a valued resident, and that I can really appreciate. I definitely will be renewing my lease here.

Nov 2016: I don't know what all these people are talking about on these reviews, I lived in Phillips Mallard Creek for three years and I had a wonderful experienced, with the professional and friendly office staff and the maintenance team. I Always dealt with XXXX and XXXX they are super nice and fair. I loved Phillips Mallard Creek, If I move back to Charlotte I will definitely go back to Phillips.

May 2016: Not even worth the one star.
Phillips Mallard Creek has gone downhill so much in the past 12 months. When I moved into the complex in March of 2015, I had a great experience. The staff was very pleasant and the move-in process wasn't too complicated.
Shortly after that, the apartment was taken over by new staff and a new regional manager. I have never been more miserable in a living situation. College dorms were better than the experience I had at Phillips Mallard Creek.
The complex is actually terrifying at night. There have been several shootings in the area recently and at one point, one of the office staff members was robbed as they were leaving the leasing office one evening. There were several drive-by shootings in and around the neighborhood in the time I lived there. Several of them were on the news.

Oct 2015: My IPad was stolen from the computer room in the leasing office. They have a security camera in the computer room but claim to not have footage of the incident. When I initially reported the incident they claimed to have reviewed the security tapes, and saw a guy enter the room, but didn't see him take the IPad. When he police came to get the tapes they claim to not have no footage of their computer room the time the incident happened. The management told me that it was my fault that my IPad was stolen, and yes that maybe true, but the disturbing part is they seem to have no interest in trying to stop theft on their property.

Most disrespectful leasing agents I have ever seen. worst and I do mean worst parking ever if your a young college student you may like living here but as a adult female who works 60 hours a week I don't wanna hear the loud music or smell the weed smoke all the time , and again the the female leasing agents need to take a nice long class on how to speak to people. I will not be renewing.
