Hi, Loading...

Apr 2016: Lived here for 3 years. 1 year in a 3 bedroom and 2 years in a two bedroom. Other than when I signed my leases, I pretty much never had to deal with the front office. The maintenance crew were really on top of things. The neighborhood is nice. One of the nicest cheapish options close to UNCC. My only complaint is that making a left turn on to Mallard Creek Church Rd. is a huge pain in the butt. However, there's a longer back way to N. Tryon that will save you the heartache during rush-hour. Review from 4/26/16 on Google
Apr 2016: Yes is has some of the better prices in the area. And you get what you pay for: Incompetence- no one who works there ever seemed very helpful. And being nickle-and-dimed for your entire stay. Be sure to read the lease very carefully, and even then you will probably get screwed in the end. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Aug 2015: I can not wait until my lease is up. I absolutely despise the office staff. I try to have very little interaction with them if possible. Number one, every month or so there's a change in office team, they either have a temp who does not have any correct information or they are just incompetent. For example, I called one day to see if the gym had free weights; the girl who answered the phone had no idea what free weights were! Really? Number two, they are CONSTANTLY blowing up my email with meaningless emails. Review from 8/20/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Aug 2015: Mallard Glen Apartments are the worst apartment complex. NEVER rent from these apartments the people in the front office could care less about any of their residence. They will not work with you on anything and simply say you signed a contract and basically screw you over. You leave the front office more pissed off then coming in. They just want your money. Also they do not like to have college students rent from them. They have said their demographic is not for college students that's why they don't offer individual room leasing when living with a roommate. They are overall the worst apartment complex near university. Review from 8/3/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2015: I have been living here for a year and everything was fine until about 7 months ago when I got new neighbors right above me. I am pretty used to living under people and understand that you can hear others around you but these people are horrible. They have three large dogs (probably each weighing 60lbs) that constantly run around at all hours of the night and day sounding like a stampede of baby elephants. They also howl and bark and fight and whine all day and all night. I called and complained the office THREE TIMES over about a two month span and nothing was done to remove these animals, and the people above me didn't seem to care. Feb 2015: I am a former resident of Mallard Glen and had a great experience while living here. I had to relocate due to my job; however, I never had any issues while living here. I loved my apartment and the management was always very friendly. I had to speak with the manager (I believe her name was Audrey) several times prior to moving out about a few things and she was always very professional and helpful. I would recommend this community to anyone looking. Review from 2/16/2015 on Apartment Ratings
