Feb 2017: I am counting down the days until my lease is up. I have been living here for about 9 months and it hasn't been a pleasant experience. There is a big problem with silverfish and no matter how much I spray or how much boric acid I put down, they just keep coming. Also the people upstairs are constantly thumping, banging, and stomping around and it wakes me up in the middle of the night. The couple upstairs walks their dog in the grass right in front of my apartment and they don't pick up after it.

Feb 2017: I moved here from Buffalo, NY in 8/16. I communicated via email because it was a long distance relocation. I requested a first or second floor apartment due to the fact that I have multiple sclerosis. I communicated this need in writing with office staff. A few months later and apartment became available and was offered to me. I was told it was on the second floor. I found out when I came down here to get the keys and move in that my apartment was actually on the third floor. I had no choice but to take the apartment because there were no lower level apartments available.

Dec 2016: So far it is a nice community outside of the fact that some of the tenants with pets are not walking pets on a lease and they are not cleaning the feces up. All of the grass areas are covered in dog mess. The grace areas really should be cleaned often so that residents without animals are not impacted by this issue.

Dec 2016: Great experiences and interactions!!! One of the Best Apartment Management Teams in Charlotte. The staff is always welcoming and appreciative. They are very attentive to the upkeep of the complex. Just overall excellent!!!

Feb 2016: They ran off the GOOD management right before the holidays, and now the place AND MANAGEMENT are a TOTAL JOKE! good luck getting your packages, or walking down your stairs or sidewalk DAYS after an ice storm. This place went from charming to MISERABLE in mere weeks!

Oct 2015: Landmark at Monaco Gardens has had some good Office Managers, but ------------ absolutely is most helpful. She takes care of every tenant issue with meticulous detail, contributing to a good tenant experience at this Landmark property. I strongly believe that Landmark has hired an excellent quality manager. She listens to the tenants issues and tries her best to address them, going out of her way in order to make for a great tenant experience.
In conclusion, living at Landmark for over an year, I have never had a better and more detail oriented tenant experience before ---------- incredibly professional abilities to maintain tenant relations.

I've lived here for years and since Krystal and Karla have left, there is no good management. The ladies (with the exception of the leasing agent) have bad attitudes and truly do not want to help. I understand it's a business, but when you have people with loyalty to your property, you want to at least attempt to make them happy. Any issues that I have had with maintenance are because they cut corners. They're all nice guys, but don't fix anything long term. You almost always have to call back twice before anything is truly fixed. Walls are thin and you can hear the baby crying next door always.

The apartments are definitely older but I didn't mind because everyone seemed very nice and the maintenance guy was awesome, ---- I think? I don't know what has happened but I cant find him any where and it seems as if everything has gone to heck. They first opened the pool in May when it was still freezing (not sure who's genius idea that was) and ever since its been hot the pool has been closed. I pay rent meaning I pay for the amenities you sold to me to get me to move in and now half of the things you "offer" are no longer offered or in the pool's case, working. Its ridiculous.

Aug 2014: The apartment seems to be kept in good shape, and the management team is helpful. I have not moved in yet but they have been very helpful so far. I will write another review, hopefully corroborating my statement about the great experience even after living here.

Jul 2014: This is the first apartment complex that I'm sad to leave! The folks in the office are very sweet and always willing to work on things with you. I've never had an issue with the front desk/customer service.
Neighbors are a different story, but as the complex completes more and more renovations it's bringing in nicer and cleaner people.
Overall, a great place to live and is a SUPER convenient location for a student and is crazy close to the highway.
