Jan 2018: CARBON MONOXIDE IN OUR APARTMENT CAUSED BY MAINTENANCE
My husband and I moved in to this apartment complex on January 4th ,2017 with the hope of making this place our FIRST home. Not just for us but for our baby which was on the way at that time and which now is 8 months.. I will not lie this place was perfect for us for like a couple of months. After 6 weeks after we moved in, our closet light did not turn on. For one. For two they took FOREVER to come and fix it. And for three after waiting a long time to get it finally fixed, whatever was wrong with the light, after like no more than three flicks it did not turn on again, and well my husband and I decided to just leave it alone because why request something that was going to get fix no time soon because they take forever. Dec 2017: I have been here for almost 3 years.
The complex is pretty nice. I haven’t had any issues with crime. All communities will have good and bad neighbors but reading the reviews they make it seem like your in a warzone when it’s totally the opposite. If there are any issues 9 times out of 10 it is a domestic dispute. The neighborhood is quiet and calm usually.
The office staff knows me as soon as I walk through the door and is always helpful and plesent when I stop by to pick up packages.
The maintenance men always wave and are very nice. Any time I had a maintenance issue it was solved quickly and efficiently. Review from Google
Nov 2017: DO NOT.... I repeat....DO NOT let your college students live here! The leasing agents are very incompetent. They are charging these kids prices for stuff they can not afford and then sending parents like myself to collections because they are late on everything. My girls moved out on Oct. 14th and I receive an email on Oct. 27th telling me that they need to pay their final month and all damages with 30 days of moving. Well the email came 13 days after they moved out so that gives them 17 days to pay over $2000.....$1200 of that was for carpet replacement. Unless you replaced the carpet in the whole apartment then that is outrageous! Then they sent me to collections because we did not contact them. My girls called and emailed and were told that there was only one person in the office. So I guess that is their fault that you are understaffed. Yo Review from Google
Nov 2017: When I first moved in 2 years ago the neighborhood was great! They had a rating close to 4 stars! Now I have had nothing but constant complaints after I resigned my lease! My neighbors were so rude with their loud music and nothing was ever done about it. I would get off of work around 11 pm and I would have to park around the corner in front of another apartment building because visitors would take up all the parking almost every day due to the frequent parties that took place. I brought my concerns to the front office several time without any solution. My neighbor actually moved out the same time I did and she informed me she had the SAME exact problems and also took them to the front office with no resolution. This neighborhood has gone from family friendly to young out of control disrespectful weed smoking college kids! RETHINK MOVING HER Review from Google
Jun 2017: My car was broken into (nothing was stole ) and I accept that which is normal in apartment complexes. 2 weeks ago there was a shooting and I heard 3 shots personally and I confirmed with a cop it did take place . the complex told the residence nothing , not so much as a safety reminder or anything . The staff is really unfriendly.

Feb 2017: Nice apartments, horrible management they don't care about the residents who live here. They have the worst attitudes not to mention there unprofessionalism, on 2 occasion I walked into the office and approached them to ask a question and they said " um im on my lunch brake sooo". There no help just there to get a pay check I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to move here, and if you do I'm sorry.

These must be the pretentious types who nitpick every little thing & therefore should be living in a HOUSE rather than an apt complex. There are no rats, no bugs, no loud music, no parties....I have seen the lady who lives across from me maybe twice. If you want updated appliances you can get them. Only thing I don't like is the people who are letting their dogs poop all over the place. It's disgusting and unacceptable tenant behavior. The staff is always nice to me & very easy to talk to.

Dec 2016: This complex and company has been the worst experience that I have ever had with a living situation. If anyone is considering living here, I would strongly recommend to avoid it like the plague for the following reasons:
1) The office and the employees/managers are not professional and many of their practices are extremely shady. Expect to be charged at least $100-150 extra each month than what you agreed to on your lease for random charges. Like 60-something for using the resident portal. When you move out, they will do everything they can to screw you on damages which is why they let us sign without a security deposit. They charged us over $1,200 for a carpet replacement when I know for a fact the carpet just needed a simple cleaning.

Lived here for over 2yrs and dreaded every single time I had to renew. I was saving up for a house and in the end I just couldn't stay any longer. For $100 more a mth I have double the space in a townhome. Colonial is an overpriced ghetto now. Over the years it progressively got worse once they took down the community gate. My car was left on a cinderblock after my tire was stolen. My neighbor's motorcycle was stolen. You have thugs roaming around freely doing drugs in the hallways. They have late night thug pool parties with loud music. The new pool pass policy was a joke as no one monitors it. Staff is incompetent and frankly don't care once you sign your lease. Someone tried to break into my apt leaving me with a broken window. Took 2mths to have it replaced.

Nov 2015: Great staff!! Surprised with how quickly my maintenance request was completed. There is a light out in the main walkway but it is to be expected with so much to keep up with. I am a returning resident from a few years ago and the upgrades to the property are Great!
