Hi, Loading...

Sep 2017: Moving in was very easy. The apartment itself is best described as cozy. It’s not big, but it’s not too small either. The amenities are nice also. Maintenance is there if needed. I have no major complaints. I would recommend. Review from Google
Sep 2017: I just moved in in August, the Lodge is very cozy. However, there were a few issues with my room when I arrived and the appliances in the kitchen are fairly dated. Thankfully they have a wonderful maintenance crew that is friendly, quick, and efficient! Review from Google
Sep 2017: Move-in experience was pretty decent, had no troubles. Furniture is dated but not really an issue. My only complain would be that my A/C unit kind of works funny as in my room is always hotter than my rommates' so there might be a ventilation problem. Had a work order sometime last week for it to be looked at but got no confirmation via text whether it was done or not. Not really a big issue but I guess it is a little slow on service although most else here is decent. Review from Google
Sep 2017: We rent privately so our rooms are more up-to-date than those renting directly from the people, but I've been pretty satisfied. Not too crazy with college kids partying, even on game days. The only downside is that EVERYONE seems to have a bug problem. I think our bugs are actually coming from the people above us through the vents. Yikes. And people refuse to pick up their dog poop. Other than that--Pool is nice. They have events often in the clubhouse. Front desk staff is really helpful and friendly. Overall, pretty satisfied and will probably renew the lease again! Review from Google
Nov 2016: ou get what you pay for. Small apartment, staff is decent. DO NOT RELY ON THE WIFI HERE!! They use a company called Airwave Networks for wifi, and it's the worst experience I've ever had. I am not renewing my lease just for this reason. Pros: Cheap, staff is okay as long as you don't bother them with anything, decent parking. Cons: WIFI, TV, apartment will be dirty/stuff will need repairs upon move in. It took almost a month for them to repair my living room fan. The AC is weird, it'll be super hot in some rooms but fine in others. WIFI. WIFI. WIFI. Review from 11/15/16 on Google
Oct 2016: My son lived there...never again....Bugs, odor, slow to fix anything. They show you one and you live in one that looks NOTHING like it. They had a leak that took months to fix appropriately. Then charged him an overage for water. The closeness to downtown is not worth it. Review from 10/20/16 on Google
May 2016: Internet is completely unreliable. Goes out for hours at a time and when it is on, it's extremely unstable and often drops randomly. Neighbors often leave trash and bottles laying throughout the building and when reported, they give everyone in the buildings warnings instead of those at fault. On top of this, the toilets often take two flushes even for just a few squares of toilet paper and the shower is cold more often than not. Review from 5/4/16 on Google
Jul 2015: I rate the Lodge 4 out of 5 stars. Pros of living here are the amenities (pool, gym, adequate parking, shuttle to class) and the excellent and timely service from the maintenance team and office management! A convenient location and my personal apartment has been well kept by previous occupants and the property company. A major con of living here is the failure to address residents that are causing extreme annoyance to other residents who are in their own home. This applies to noise complaints outside the apartments and residents living above others who have been addressed several times personally, as well as complaints to the office, and no action is taken to solve the problem. May 2015: The first night I moved in my shower was clogged with some much hair that it wouldn't even drain. A real warm welcoming, I know. Throughout my two year stay, we had ant, cockroach, fly, and even a termite problem once. Parking lot is always noisy, which is particularly problematic on the bottom floor. don't live in any apartment that people will walk by, unless you like being woken up/kept up when you're trying to sleep. My vehicle was hit one weekend, the property manager said she would call me back about the incident since I determined the make and model of the perpetrator, but she never did. Mar 2015: We had an issue with our pipes which took maintenance quite a while to temporarily solve. Maintenance requests take far too long to actually be resolved. Also, the lodge won't pay to replace a lightbulb if yours goes out. In addition there is a huge bug problem that will only go away if you request "extra spraying" around your apartment.. The part time staff is awful. Try explaining an issue to them and they direct you to the girl who has the permanent deer in the headlights look and doesn't understand a word of what you are saying. You have to stop her from talking over you, for her to even begin to understand the problem you are describing. The gate access codes for guests and food delivery rarely ever work until you remind the staff to fix your gate code (3 times!) Review from 3/25/15 on Apartment Ratings
Oct 2013: I've been living here for 2 years and just signed my lease for another year. I've had nothing but POSITIVE experiences at the complex! The apartments are furnished with decent furniture, it is close to downtown, lots of utilities are included in rent, and it is a friendly environment. Having lived in a couple of apartment complexes in Athens, I know how horrible it is to deal with a terrible management staff. However, the management at The Lodge is great - super nice, friendly, and cooperative. Recently, improvements are being made to the property, including wireless internet, new paint, and more TV channels. My apartment was also recently painted a nice tan color and we got leather couch cushions - all for free. Review from 10-5-2013 on Google
