Jan 2019: Campus Lodge’s best feature is there community events. I love being able to have the chance to meet other residents and win prizes. They often give out food and host fun parties around the pool. The staff is so kind and friendly, especially Emily, Morgan, and Darnnell. Parking is great because there are always spaces available for you and your friends that might come over. Amnesties are nice and the lodge office is super cozy and homey. Scavenger hunts and decorating little crafts have to be my favorite events as well as anything involving food. Review from Google
Dec 2018: It’s terrible. I moved into an apartment that was completely trashed with half eaten pizzas and bowls of cereal laying all over. There were boxes of stuff stacked to the ceiling, concealing any furniture that was in the living room. The patio didn’t open and had no furniture. My toilet didn’t flush. My sink would leak everywhere out the bottom if I pushed it past a trickle. The mess that was there was from the current occupants of three years that they didn’t tell me I was moving in with. They also had a person living on the couch, since I was moving into the empty room. This issue was repeatedly reported to Morgan Richardson, the property manager, in the first weekend I was supposed to be living here. She refused to help over the weekend, and her maintenance staff had to kick out the person who was illegally living on the couch for Review from Google
Nov 2018: Terrible place to live. Had air conditioning broken for 3 months and management had no urgency to fix it despite going to office multiple times. Imagine this in Gainesville heat. What happens is the rooms become ridiculously humid. Even after "fixing" it, the AC broke again after 2 weeks. There are roaches and other pests that constantly run through the drainage. Not to mention mold. Dishwasher appliance has always been broken and despite efforts to get it fixed, because it's clogged and smells, there is no answer from the office. Apparently management charges its residents for pest extermination. Rates have gone up despite having nothing new or extra as far as accommodations. Maintenance will go into your apartment and will leave the door open, so huge security issue there. Review from Google
Nov 2018: I've lived at campus lodge for about 4 years. It was a pretty good place to live even though a little far from campus, but they recently got bought by a new management company and everything has gone done hill from here. 1) The broke my upgraded unit lease for this upcoming season (illegal by the way per the lawyer I consulted) right before it was supposed to be enacted and basically told me I needed to sign a new lease not for an upgraded unit or move out. I had to stay because it was 2 weeks before my lease was up and I couldn't find a different place to stay in that time. 2) The security gate which is a main feature that people like here has been broken since August and there has been minimal communication from the staff. The barcodes on our cars also don't work in the front OR back gate (the back gate has been broken for at least a year, Review from Google
Nov 2018: I have lived at campus lodge for four years now and I think this will be the last one. The new management could not care less for their residents. Management called me once last October to ask about renewing this year when I wasn't sure yet where I would be living, and when I then asked about renewing during the summer they said they had leased my apartment to someone else because I wasn't quick enough. When I tried to resolve this, they withheld for hours the fact that they let me renew. It took going into the office to finally speak with someone, and they acted like I was crazy for being upset about not having a place to live when all they had to do was give me a phone call. It was a completely heartless experience. Also, I have had a leak for the past year that the property manager is refusing to address, and several other apartments are Review from Google
Oct 2018: Overall my experience here has been pretty great. Yes there are some downsides. The apartments aren’t as updated as I would like and it’s kind of far from campus but, you get what you pay for. My move in process was very smooth and my apartment was clean and ready. Yes there are the occasional roaches but, we live in Florida. So of course there are going to be bugs especially if you’re on the first floor. Just buy bug spray and you’ll be fine. Also the leasing office provides pest control all you have to do is call them to be put on the list. I never have any problem finding parking in front of my building however, guest parking is a different story. I wish there were more guest parking near the actual apartments because the closest ones to my apartment (11) are at building 5 and there’s only like 10 spots so my guests have to park a Review from Google
Oct 2018: I have lived here for over a year now and have never had problems with maintenance. We live on the 3rd floor so have minimal, if any, problems with bugs. Our apartment is in good condition and has no broken items.
Sep 2018: I will have lived at Campus Lodge for 3 years when I move out, and my experience has been great! Love the pool, the gym, and buses get you to campus in 15 min. Office and maintenance staff are cool as well. I only wish there was more guest parking for bldgs 9-13 Review from Google

Jun 2018: Lived here for two years. don't make the same mistake. Its impossible to get work orders completed, you'll have to bother the front desk constantly to even have a chance of anything getting fixed. The apartments have bad bug problems. When they came to fix it, it didn't help at all and we had to fix it ourselves or deal with it. I mean ants, huge roaches, the works. The furniture isn't in good condition. The couches were all ripped up (they wouldn't replace them), the counters looks awful, the fridge had multiple broken shelves, the sliding doors on the closets constantly fall off, the blinds on the windows break easily. My fan was broken for months and no one would come fix it. The washer and dryer didn't work well. The apartment switched resident portals and didn't give proper instruction, causing rent to be late, and they charged late Review from Google
Jun 2018: Campus Lodge switched management recently, management used to be really good, they always tried to help you if you had any issues. New management changed everything, they conveniently added a service fee of $16.00 for people that pay rent online and they did this just before Summer started (You know, when everyone leaves Gainesville for internships and such and they can not physically stop by the office to pay rent with a check) So now you have to pay an extra $16.00 if you pay your rent online. They also conveniently stopped sending reminder emails to pay for rent! They only send you an email for when your rent is late and they wait a day after it is considered late to send it so they can accrue the late payment fee and charge it to you. Review from Google
Jun 2018: Moving in was simple and smooth sailing. Here is a list: - If you live towards the back of the complex and drive, good luck because the sensor never works to open the gate. You will have to get down, walk on the other side of the car, put your key card in, and then get back in your car to drive thru the gate - If you live towards the front, there's only one bus that passes and its 35.. can take like 25 mins to get to UF - I did not experience any bugs in my apartment - maintenance usually comes in within 24 hours to fix your needs - The appliances are old.. Our dryer stopped working and it took maintenance 4 attempts (which means we put in work orders four different times) before it was fixed. Our fridge leaks water. Again, we put in three different work orders.. they came in three times and did something to the fridge... but the issue ha Review from Google
May 2018: Two months from the other black mold post and still in the pool. Just had a tour and will never stay where I can't enjoy the pool in this summer heat. Review from Google
May 2018: Place is decent, maintenance is quick and everything is ready to move in. My building was quite old and the floor needed to be replaced but all they did was strip and wax it. One very unprofessional thing was bringing the online payment system down a couple days before pay day and then charging a hefty late fee as if there was no delayed payment taken into account, especially around spring break when people were out of town. We should have been given several weeks notice in advance. Other than that, living here was quite convenient for someone with a busy schedule. Review from Google
May 2018: They are very professional and try hard to keep you informed. Love the security of the complex and the assistants during the after hours. I love the updates of the units to stay current and fresh. Review from Google
May 2018: This place is pretty good. Only a couple things..my shower floor peels and has been since I moved in. I wish they took care of the apartments on the outside to at least make them look nice. It looks really old. But it's great otherbthso that Review from Google
May 2018: Ive lived in campus lodge for a year, and I'm thinking about resigning. I like that its a gated community, the outside looks really nice and clean, and your key to your apartment is a key card instead of a normal key. Also, rent prices arent too bad. The main cons are that the furtniture (couches) are falling apart and because they are leather and old they are all torn up, (doesn't look like the showroom) but when you report it nothing happens. Also, the showers mold extremely easily. Plus, I have seen roaches in the apartments, and it feels like there are constant inspections which is kind of annoying. If these issues were fixed this would be a 5 star place to live. Review from Google
Apr 2018: Only problem I ever had was with electricity billing. Gates are also nice for security purposes but absolutely sucks when people are coming over Review from Google
Mar 2018: I really wish I could give this place 0 stars if I could. At first there was a few roaches, we called pest control, things weren't so bad. Then we received an email over the summer saying that our building was INFESTED with German cockroaches. Pest control came ONCE to do an "inspection and deep spray". They blamed it on us for having trash in our trash can and clean bottles in our recycling bin. The thing with German cockroaches is that they go after electronics. They are in my walls, living in the outlets (that I had to have replaced because none of them worked). And they're in my oven clock. I have seen 5 roaches in the clock at once. I don't go a day without seeing at least 4 roaches in my kitchen/living room. I clean my apartment every weekend. The office says it's our responsibility to call for pest control even though the building is st Review from Google
Mar 2018: Rude employees (specifically managers) and below average appliances. However, the patio is very nice and the bedrooms are spacious... bathroom is pretty gross though. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I love it here and plan on living here another year at least. Staff is super helpful and friendly and the amenities are great. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I was a prospective tenant and took a tour. The price is good and rooms decent but the pool is full of black mold spots inside. It's obviously not kept up. Review from Google
Oct 2017: I am a current resident and I have not been pleased at all. The appliances and furniture are dated and barely functioning, the cabinets have seen better days and there is a bug problem. For the first week after I moved in the lock did not work (they are key cards like you get at a hotel, not actual keys). The air conditioner froze over about a month into me living there and fans barely go fast enough to move air. The internet is unsecured and open, which is an online safety concern and there has also been an issue with someone letting air out of peoples tires and there is not a single security camera on the property, so the culprit has not been found. Do not let the model units and friendly staff fool you, this place is mediocre at best terrible at the worst. I will not be renewing my lease next year. Review from Google
Oct 2017: I love living at Campus Lodge!! The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Maintence comes within 1-2 days and the community is awesome!! Review from Google
Aug 2017: My son lived there for a year. Bugs throughout out apartment (rarely sprayed for bugs). Every month maintenance came by to bleach the bathroom ceiling and walls because of mold. The furniture so worn and falling apart. Rust in microwave, thank goodness he never used it! His girlfriend lived in another apartment there and her door locked had to be fixed 4 times in a year (the apartments do not use keys they used hotel door keys-horrible idea). The models are NOTHING like what you get. Run run run from here! Review from Google
Jun 2017: Very bad experience. Maintenance is a menace. Lied about a "request" never made. Im assuming because the neighbors were smoking and they use that method to check. Maintenance was quick but they would check your apartments when you aren't home, I don't trust those men. Worked where they bought things and overheard conversations making me uneasy. Nice pool. Also, some of these 5 star reviews are written by people who work there since you must live there to work there last I heard...odd to my perception. Similar to dorm living. Lived there 13'-14' but felt the need to share my experience. Renter beware. Review from Google
