Oct 2018: I love Anatole at City View! I have lived at several apartment complexes in Lubbock. Anatole is by far the best! The staff takes a really active interest in finding the perfect home for new residents, the pool and work out room are always very clean, and the apartments themselves are really spacious and modern. Will definitely recommend to any friends looking for an amazing place to live! Review from Google
Aug 2018: We have lived here about a year now and absolutely love it! The office staff is great and responds in a timely manner. Every time I have gone in to workout or use the computer center they make me feel extremely welcome!! The layout of the apartment is very spacious. I can’t say enough great things about this place! Jun 2018: My husband and his business partner, both from out of state, are working in Lubbock and needed a corporate apartment (fully furnished) for three months. Anatole did not have any furnished units available, but offered to have one furnished for an extra monthly charge--okay, no problem. I visited Anatole and Mitchell showed me the apartment that was available. It looked great. He handed me a brochure and wrote down what the cost of furnishing would be, what the monthly rate would be, etc. He advised that the administrative fee would be waived and the $150 application fee would be applied toward the $300 deposit. I filled out the application and turned it in. After being approved for the apartment, Susan began to discuss costs with us--NONE of them matched what Mitchell initially told us. Her way is to talk to people in a demeaning way. She gets annoyed easily and does not want assist TENANTS in a promptly manner. She is needs to RETIRED she is insufficient and corrupt. She charges people on the LEDGER what she feels and not what is relevant. We will see her in a Small Courts Claims with all the pertinent documentation. !!! Apr 2018: I have enjoyed this place so far; however, I just received an eviction notice due to my not paying rent for 3 days. Because my first month was free, I had not set up autopay yet. Being told that I would be taken to court if I did not either pay my bill or leave within 3 days has left a bad taste in my mouth. I am not sure if this is common practice in apartment complexes, but being threatened with a lawsuit is not what I expected from this complex. Review from GoogleSep 2017: Sad to say that I did work at this place. don't get me wrong I absolutely loved my job, but I refuse to be talked down to and belittled by someone with higher power. Now I see why this place has such a high turnover! don't work here, you will be blamed for things not getting done even when your doing all the work yourself. And don't plan on getting trained, the manager fails to train anyone she doesn't like. I can't stand two-faced back stabbing fake people. That's all you will get here! Any store I could want to go to is within walking distance.
Marble counter tops with a cool island. Washer and dryers provided are super quiet and are super capacity.
I would choose to live here again if the opportunity arises again.
Review from 5/8/17 on GoogleFeb 2017: We lived here for almost 3 years, and loved our apartment. We had the largest model, first floor, and loved the open concept. We had some issues with noise above us, but for the most part a nice, quiet community! The location is truly awesome, and if we weren't ready to be in a home, we would have stayed! Overall, we had a positive experience with The Anatole, and we are going to miss it!
Review from 2/10/17 on GoogleDec 2016: It has been several months since we moved out, but I know how seriously I take reviews when I am considering a purchase so here goes. My wife and I lived here for about 6 months and I wanted to live here for a lot longer. I really liked the apartments layout and location. Unfortunately, we had some issues arise where we decided it would be best to move on.
The Pros: Loved the island kitchen! Had great neighbors all around. The apartments are in a great location with both the marsha sharp and loop close by as well as plenty of shopping centers. We enjoyed the swimming pool and used it frequently. Apart from a baby we would sometimes faintly hear crying from the adjacent apartment, there was never any noise disturbances we had to put up with. I also like that the apartments are gated and secure.

I was referred by someone when I moved in and he never got his check, then I referred someone in May and was told I would receive my check in August. It's almost January and still no check. Not a bad place, just bad management.
Review from 12/14/16 on GoogleNov 2016: Very deceitful people your dealing with here. I had put down a application and deposit fee and realized that this wasn't the apartments for us. When I asked for the deposit back after 3 days of payment, the original girl Clarissa told me she didn't know if it was refundable than the manager told me that their wasn't, told me they were allowed to keep based on liquefiable damages? I hadn't even moved in?! Avoid this place with the plague. They try to lure you in because they give you a month free, they have to give away free rent so that you are enticed to live there. Your money is better spent elsewhere!

Do not be fooled by the "deals" on rent, which lock you in for a short-time only to have rent exponentially increase each year! DO NOT RENT HERE! Save yourself the headache and pain of having to move once the short-term "deal" wears off and you are stuck with sky high prices.
Review from 5/29/16 on GoogleJan 2016: For the premium that they charge for rent, the tenates have to hord trash or time it just right to get it in the dumpster. There is only 3 dumpsters for the entire apt complex & the dumpsters are constantly running over! I feel so bad for the maintenance crew, they are having to constantly pickup trash & they can't keep up. The corporate office will not authorize more dumpsters!

I was used to placing a work order the moment something went wrong because I knew it would be awhile before it was fixed, but that is not the case here. Sometimes they arrive the same day I place it! Melissa is the best property manager I've ever come into contact with, especially after my move from Raiders Walk...she is an angel compared to those people!!!! (April 15, 2015 Facebook)
