Hi, Loading...

Oct 2018: Really kind and friendly service. Toured the apartment and loved it. Super spacious and really nice inside. I have lived here for four months and love it! Review from Google
Jun 2018: This experience comes from 2015.... BEWARE with this company. I was a college student and lived here, no major problems other than faulty appliances and a leaking second floor down to the first floor. I cannot explain how frustrated I am with this company. I was sent to COLLECTIONS 2.5 years later without ever receiving ONE notice of any form. I am graduated and applying for an apartment which notified me I was even sent to collections. They claimed that I caused damage and didn’t pay my trash fees when I always made my payments, not once late. “Ownership changed” and Kim blankly told me to contact the collections agency lol. This has damaged my credit and further cost me 2.5 years later a measles $213. I paid this off to get it off my credit, but again, I warn you to BEWARE when signing with this company as they will scrape every pen Review from Google
Jun 2018: The apartments are great but a little pricey but the bedrooms are huge so I think it’s worth it. Maintenance has been excellent lately! They usually get to your request the day of or the day after you submit a work order. The staff is usually nice, but I get told different things by different staff members which makes it confusing to what is really true. Big downside is there is a lot of dog poop on the little lawns that we get because no one cleans their dog’s mess up. The gym needs a lot of work because the equipment doesn’t work sometimes, but the pools are very nice. Trash is picked up right outside your apartment! I am also always able to park right outside my apartment with no problem, but I know if you live towards the front of the apartments this may not be the case because of people wanting to be closer to the shuttle. Review from Google
May 2018: I really love it here. They do a great job keeping the apartment complex looking nice and when there is maintenance needed in your unit they are quick to get whatever fixed! The kitchen is also awesome because it is so big. I like living here because it feels like I’m in a house not an apartment. Plus the buses are also pretty good and being at the villages means you are the first to get picked up which guarantees you a seat. Overall I really enjoy living here! Review from Google
May 2018: The new maintenance team is doing awesome. Everyone is so friendly in the Village. The cardio gym is big & they have two pools! The office girls are always so nice and helpful, Paige has always helps me fix any issues I have had. I wouldn't live anywhere else! Review from Google
May 2018: I have lived here for almost a year, in a 3 bedroom and we have had all types of problems with the management, maintenance and the apartment itself. The manager is rude, maintenance took forever (almost 2 months) to fix our dryer when we first moved in, I emailed the manager and she had a very short rude response. Maintenance also took 3 weeks to get the ants out of our apartment. The apartments are cute on the outside and the downstairs is big but the bedrooms upstairs are small. Before we moved in they told us they were cleaning the carpets, but that obviously did not happen. It smells like animals upstairs (where the carpet is) and we don't have animals. Our furniture is falling apart and our couch is torn up from the dogs that lived here before us. The apartments are overpriced for what you get, and same with the furniture. The high prices Review from Google
May 2018: The actual units are super nice, very spacious, and modern. The pools are great, the dog park is a plus, and the staff is friendly. Maintenance, from my experience, has always been quick and super kind! The only complaints I have are with the workout facilities always having malfunctioning equipment, and the issues upon moving in almost a year ago with missing furniture (for months) as well as overall dirty move-in quality. I also live in the front, so assigned parking would be nice considering I often have to park several houses down when people choose to park in front of my house to be closer to the bus. Management can be a bit off at times, but the front office staff is always pretty nice and willing to resolve any problems. It's a great place to live and I understand not everything will always be perfect and it's unrealistic to think it wi Review from Google
May 2018: The apartments are nice and spacious! The maintenance is usually pretty quick, especially if there is a major problem. The amenities are nice, but the hot tub is never on!! Also, my trash can always flys away because we don’t have a chain to tie it down and they are slow at replacing the trash can! Review from Google

May 2018: Maintenance guys are very nice. Apartments are big. Pool areas are cool. The only thing keeping me from posting a 5 star review is the general manager. Her ability to work well with the residents and her attitude could use some improvements. Review from Google
May 2018: I’ve lived here for almost a year now and I think this place is really great! It’s safe and clean and everyone is friendly and nice. If I wasn’t graduating in August I’d definitely resign a lease here. Review from Google
Apr 2018: Friendly staff, nice housing, great amenities! They also give you free food from time to time.. sign today Review from Google
Mar 2018: Learn from my mistake and do not sign here. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the apartments are cute and spacious. I've lived at five different apartment complexes in San Marcos and Village on Telluride is by far the worst. Management and maintenance are AWFUL. It took four maintenance requests to get my sink fixed, two requests for my desk (it still isn't fixed) and we still do not have cable, which we've been told by the cable company should have been set up when we moved in, after living here for eight months. Our apartment (and my friend's who lives in the complex as well) was NOT move in ready and it took them nearly a week to get my roommate's bed frame set up. I don't know if they're this terrible because they try to get away with screwing over college students or if they're genuinely this awful at their jobs. Please, sav Review from Google
Jan 2018: the staff and management here are AWFUL!!! They do a very poor job at helping out with any issues you may have. This is my second year at the village because the apartment is nice, but they continue to not truly help us and just say the same answers whenever we go to them for help, like "sorry, but..." and they can talk all they want, but don't take action. Im not mad, just disappointed. Please get better staff. Review from Google
Jan 2018: DO NOT SIGN HERE!! The apartments are really nice. However, Management is horrible, they think they can take advantage of you because you’re a college student. The main manager (Kim) will try to avoid you to not fix what’s going on. She will never call you back! Move in was horrible. Our apt was trashed when we moved in and they had 3 weeks to remodeled and they waited until the last minute! There’s still stuff that Maintenance hasn’t fixed SINCE AUG!! Also, my roommates and I, complained about dog owners not cleaning up after their pit and Great Dane since Nov. and they STILL haven’t done anything. Review from Google
Dec 2017: The Villages is such a nice place to stay, the rooms and the living space is so big but just as everyone else has had there fair share of problems with management, so have I. Management is the absolute worst! Kim is such a you know what. They say they're helping with finding someone to sublease my apartment but theres a big list of people wanting to sublease their apartments as well so they have to take care of them first (geeee i wonder why everyone wants to move from this place). Anywho don't live here, you're better off taking your money somewhere else. This place loves to take college kids money. As if college isn't stressful enough, they add even more stress to you rather than help you. Review from Google
Oct 2017: Way cool front entrances - really takes you to Telluride and days on the front porch swing. Inside is spacious and sleek. Affordable. In a sea of apartments but not too far from several parks, quick access to everything you need. Review from Google
Oct 2017: Management is horrible (Kim). The deposit you pay with your lease that they say you'll get back, you won't. They kept my entire deposit and charged me an extra 75 dollars because of "normal wore and tear," and in the contract it says they don't charge for that. They not only charged me that, but also my 2 other roommates. They are money hungry. And Kim the manager does NOT return your calls so if you have a major problem it probably won't get fix. I will NEVER live there again!!!!!!!!! Review from Google
Aug 2017: I'm giving them one star, because I can't give zero stars. For those who just moved into these apartments, be ready to sell your soul just to pay for rent, only to move out and have MORE outrageous charges to your account. I just moved out and got charged $500 worth of ridiculous charges that should have never been made. Just a tip: You will write on a form indicating all of the damages that already exist when you move in and you will get charged for them all in the end :). The carpet in my apartment was already incredibly damaged, but it didn't seem to matter when I told management about it when I moved in... it only mattered after the fact. Moral of the story: the management SUCKS and they try to screw you over at any opportunity. Unless you have $$$ to blow, then stay away. Far away. As far as my experience living there... be ready for Review from Google
Jan 2017: Edit: New management came in this week and fixed it their first day in the office.. great start! I just moved in Friday Jan 6th... the complex and townhouse seem amazing as well as location. and the front desk staff have all been helpful. BUT!!!! my shower has been running completely cold water since the day I moved in. My roommate says that hers is the same way. Maintenance has ordered a specialty part and they have no idea how long it will take to get here. So, since I have moved in to the apartment I have been taking ice cold showers. Jan 2017: The houses are nice and the community is well kept. Maintenance can take a while to get problems fixed though. Also wish the bus system was a little better. Review from 1/4/17 on Google
Oct 2016: The management here is the worst with little to no follow through and a high rate of turnover that any corporation should be embarrassed about. Our student lived there for two years, scheduling maintenance was difficult and mostly unresponsive. The move in was a nightmare, with unit turned over to us in disgusting shape - stained mattresses and broken furniture The students are treated poorly and with little respect. There are plenty of places in San Marcos to live - I would stay away from this one. Review from 10/13/16 on Google
Jun 2016: DO NOT LIVE HERE. Yes it's a nice place and the rooms are spacious but management sucks the staff is unprofessional and has no idea what to do or what is going on. If anyone told you that you won't go over the water cap that is a lie l don't even live in my apartment anymore and I don't have a roommate since she moved out yet my water bills are still $30 to $40 over every month. How? When I called to figure out what was going on and who could possible be using water in a vacant apartment the staff said they would fix it because it was odd that my bill was so high then flipped the script and said they couldn't do anything and stopped emailing me back. Review from 6/16/16 on Google
Jun 2016: There is a lot of space which is a plus, but the management is HORRIBLE. Unless you are a parent, good luck speaking to anyone at the office besides the untrained, incompetent students that work there. I have had to have my parents call multiple times just to speak to the manager because i could never get to her. They towed my friends car from the nonresidential spots behind my house. After my mom continually argued with the manager for a day about violating the lease, they finally got his money back, but continued to tow other cars from the same spots! Review from 6/2/16 on Google
May 2016: The apartments are really nice but unless you like stepping on dog poo or having an unleashed dog charge you any time you go for a walk you're probably better off somewhere else. Multiple calls and complaints to the staff and the rules are not enforced at all. The staff are either really nice and that's lucky or just really rude and forget what you're there for. There are SO many unannounced visits in your home so don't get too comfortable. I live in a two bedroom house and fortunately I got the big room but if you move in be prepared to maybe get the short end of the stick. Review from 5/23/16 on Google
Nov 2015: FIRST AND FOREMOST! Do not take any of these good reviews to heart!!! They used to give out gift cards to people who left good reviews! I've lived here for 3 years now...the first year was fine, I didn't have any major complaints. The second year is when things started going downhill but I signed my lease for this third year so early I couldn't do anything about it. When we moved in (the second & third time) our homes were disaster zones (they're truly lucky we cannot post pictures)They switched management at the beginning of this year so we have tried to stay optimistic but luck hasn't been on our side. A lot of the negatives are things you'll experience anywhere, theft of your personal property, dog poop every where, lots of wrecks between residents, poor quality, etc. Review from 11/17/15 on Google
