Nov 2016: I have lived here at Clarion Crossing for going on four months, and I must say that this apartment complex is by far THE GREATEST!! The staff are very friendly, fast, and efficient. The apartments are very well clean and environment safe. The area landscaping is always up to par, and if there are any needs as far as things going on about your apartment, the response time from the maintenance and office crew is VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT!! I would definitely recommend Clarion Crossing as a place of residency.

This is our first (non-campus!) apartment, and we were nervous about asking the right questions and picking the right place. Clarion has been wonderful every step of the way. The staff is so open and helpful, and genuinely sought to make our move as smooth as possible. Since living here (in the newly updated apartments!), we've been constantly impressed by the continuing kindness and competency of the office staff and the maintenance guys. Not only do they all know what they're doing, they seem honestly happy to help you! The complex is in a great location (State is a bike ride away, Food Lion's a ten-minute walk, and even closer are a park and a 24-hour gas station!), and the staff and apartments themselves are great. Review from 4/18/16 on GoogleApr 2016: STAY AWAY. This property charges fees for everything and will take advantage of anyone they can. Katie, the "manager" is totally useless. Even though my daughter did not rent there, they kept taking out money (because they had her debit card) for "deposit", "admin fee", "reservation fees". I've contested with the bank and contacted the property management company. THIS PROPERTY IS PREDATORY. Read all the reviews and DO NOT give them your debit card.
Review from 4/3/16 on GoogleSep 2015: The cost of the laundry facilities are pretty steep and I think they should be lowered. The treadmill equipment in the gym does not work very well. I have had issues with a rodent and maintenance has not been timely in calling getting an exterminator out to me. I have not been able to stay at my unit because of the rodent issue and I have not been compensated and was told that I wouldn't be, which is more money out of my pocket. For an $815.00 rent payment I feel that the service should be way better than what it is and I have not been satisfied at all so far.
Review from 9/24/2015 on Apartment RatingsSep 2015: Townhomes need to be updated such as the inside of the vents need to cleaned, also poor insulation. Townhomes are hot in the summer and cold in the winter because air does not remain in the townhome. I am a resident of three years.

Sep 2015: I've only lived here for about a month, but it's been a great community thus far. It's relatively close to NCSU, which is convenient, and is distanced from main roads, avoiding traffic noise, but not so much that you feel isolated.

Jun 2014: My family and I recently moved to Clarion Crossing and it???s terrible. They did "renovations" on the apartment but in the process made it look worse than before. They put a hole in the kitchen ceiling, the wires are falling out of the dining room light fixture, and they used the wrong kind color of paint for their touch-ups. It sticks out like a sore thumb. The dishwasher doesn't work; they broke the banister and fixed it with electrical tape. This apartment is an incredible disappointment. We didn???t see it before we moved in because it was occupied and then during the renovations, they wouldn't let us see it then either. I regret moving here. I've talked to the assistant manager and the manager and nothing has been done. Review from 6/27/14 on Apartment RatingsMar 2013: We have not had the same experience as other reviewers. Perhaps we've just had quiet neighbors, but I wouldn't consider this complex to be especially loud. There are times when I can hear children next door but they've never kept us up at night or anything. We did have bugs at one point, but after addressing it with management and having our apartment sprayed twice, the bugs disappeared. The property is older and of course there are challenges with that but maintenance has always responded quickly and we have never been charged. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay here and will continue to live here until we buy a house!

Let me also start by now listing the problems (if i can remember them all) that have lead to my loathing this rip-off apartment complex from the 70s. A coat of paint and some spackle is all the work that has been put in since then....
- Front door jammed shut- this is okay only if you are with leaving your home unlocked for 3 days, and using only the patio door
- Toilet overflow- this too would have been okay had they not broken off the water valve
- 3 water leaks that flooded our carpet (one from the above, one from those washers in the breezeway that they will try to sell you on, and one from our neighbor, which brings me to the next item on my list..)
Review from 12/28/2012 on Apartment RatingsJan 2012: The units on the top of the hill have very bad mold issues that have not been dealt with by management. In our unit, they cleaned off the walls and painted over the mold. Incredibly poor drainage is to blame. After a rain storm, the grounds remain full of deep puddles for days and are never really completely dry.
