Feb 2017: We are so excited that we found Berkshire Cameron Village! Our main goal was to find a place that we could find many things to do nearby. Berkshire is a perfect option since it is located in the heart of Cameron Village. The Assistant Property Manager Carla Reed, Property Manager Megan Glenister along with Austin have provided nothing short of EXCELLENT customer service! Feb 2017: Beautiful facility, enjoyed living there for our 12 months. Amenities are second to none. Super convenient having Harris Teeter and Fresh Market nearby. Well managed, staff were extremely helpful. There was an issue with false fire alarms for a bit but that seemed to be alleviated by the end of our stay. Thanks Megan and co.! Review from Google
Feb 2017: Fantastic location next to grocery shopping, bars and restaurants and close enough to walk to downtown or get a $5 taxi. Amenities are top notch and the pool is a great facility in the summer. The management team are helpful and have resolved all issues efficiently. Best building I've lived in in Raleigh.
Review from 2/1/17 on GoogleDec 2016: This property has gone downhill ever since the leasing office allowed people to rent a unit, but not live there. This has created a large contingent of college kids who have proven to be loud, rude and quite the party hosts, thanks to their parents who signed their leases. The leasing office says there is nothing they can do about it, which is false. Also, there are a number of pit bulls and large dogs here, with owners who have no idea how to handle their pets. An elevator door opens and a dog lunges at you, or barks non-stop. Walk to your car, and a dog with a leash trailing behind jumps on you. It's only a matter of time until one of the children here gets bitten. Also, dog poop and urine (well, we assume that it is dog urine) are left in hallways, stair wells and walkways. Lovely.

It is by far the nicest building in Cameron Village that I have been to/viewed with great amenities and only a short 1/2 minute walk to grocery shopping, bars and restaurants. The staff have resolved any issues I've had quickly and efficiently which makes my life much easier. As far as renting goes, I wouldn't live anywhere else in Raleigh.

There have been numerous issues that we have had to deal with as tenants but the building and the location and the staff have been wonderful. May 2016: I absolutely love the apartment, the common areas and the community! The apartment has a beautiful high end kitchen and beautiful floors throughout. Good size balcony. The only downside I have experienced so far are slow and few elevators, as well as limited storage space. Nice size walk in closet but not enough space to hang clothing. The only complaint or downside is the level of noise heard from neighbors. The walls and ceiling are extremely thin and can hear steps and stomps of upstairs neighbor.

The staff was very busy but they made sure to greet me and let me know that I was not being ignored. The complex is beautiful and the amenities were perfect. Who does she think she is? All because she said it wasn't a good time for her to have to have to deal with their issue. She needs to be fired!
