Feb 2020: This place is unorganized and very unprofessional. During my tour I was given a discounted rate towards my rent signed a lease the manager at corporate level signed and executed the lease but three months later THE DAY BEFORE move in I was called and said “it was a mistake on the office behalf†and I either sign a new lease or find somewhere else to stay. They do not hold them selves accountable wouldn’t even give me a compensation for my hassle and inconvenience instead they hold my roomate to her lease and give me the ultimatum of leaving instead of honoring a legal binding contract signed by both parties. LONG STORY SHORT DON’T MOVE HERE!!!!! The reviews are very true

Nov 2019: The Tiger Plaza apartments have lots of nice features. After you fill out an application they tell you you have passed and have you come in to sigh the lease. After you sign the lease they tell you that it takes a week to get it approved. If you decide you don’t want it they come after you for the lease payments. They do not return phone calls and do follow their lease when making up the months bills. They will never correct once you have been. Charged for something wrongly. Maintenance tries, but nothing ever gets completely fixed.

Oct 2019: This lady I know who's expecting was given a cashed money order back and wasn't told it was cash. She found out it was cashed when she tried to cash it. They gave it back to her knowing what they did. She can't talk to corporate through management because they don't want to give her the number. Do not move here. They are no good people. I've lived here for a year and my air conditioning has been broke since I moved in. Three technicians told me it needed replaced and nothing was ever done. One said it was so old nothing could be done. The third guy cleaned it and pulled layers and layers of dust that's been in there for years. Ive been to the doctors multiple times because of my allergies. There are holes in the bathroom from poor repair jobs. Every time I submit maintenance orders it takes forever to get anything done. This shouldn't be the case give that rent is 850 a month plus electric. The property has also had so much turnover that you cant have a consistent person to report your problems to. In the year that I have been here we have had three managers and assistant managers. It's not worth it. The apartments also dont look like what they show you online. Which as someone who was moving from out of state I didnt know. Jun 2019: The leasing staff has been amazing! Every encounter that I have had at Tiger Plaza has been great. Since staying here everything has been in order, and maintenance has responded SO FAST! The Assistant property manager Marvin has been so professional. I'm not sure what everyone else is talking, but my Wi-Fi has been so fast! Everyone really makes this feel like a home, and wouldn't trade this experience for anything. I'm definitely renewing! Thank you so much Tiger Plaza Staff for all of your hospitality. You can’t beat this price, and due to old poor management this place is labeled something it is not. Jan 2019: I’d moved into Tiger Plaza right before it’s painfully apparent downfall. It really was great and not far from LSU. I lived here between August 2013-July 2017.
I had no problems at all until around the half way point.Once the problems started, they only got worse. It was no coincidence that when the property manager changed so did their reputation. Jonas was extremely poor at managing the property.
It is understood that older appliances and units need fixing up, but the lack of maintenance and organization made it almost impossible for work orders to be completed in a timely fashion. At one point my air conditioning was not working for an entire summer. It was over 80 degrees in my apartment at all times. They knew they could not fix the central air, but it took them over a month to give me a one AC unit for a two bedroom master. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I know it may seem nice (especially the price) but it is not worth it, SAVE YOUR MONEY. I moved into Tiger Plaza August 2017 and moved out early because of the horrible conditions. My air conditioner was broken until January of 2018. My roommate and I constantly put in work orders but nothing was solved. Our apartment reached over 90 degrees every day and we had animals living in the apartment. I can’t even began to describe to you how miserable the conditions were. Our hot water was out for over a month before someone decided to fix it. And they swear everything is your fault and will charge you for anything. The management is absolutely horrible. A little over a year ago myself and a friend signed a two bedroom lease with Tiger Plaza. A few weeks later we had some family stuff come up and we’re unable to move in there (which was about two months before our lease was even supposed to begin). We went to the office and spoke to Stephanie about what we needed to do to get our lease transferred and she told us all we had to do was bring in someone to take over our lease. When we were able to find people to take over it, we brought them in and Stephanie told us the paperwork would take a month to come in. We left that day and reached out to the property manager cause it seemed like we were getting the run around. Very unsafe, all type of people walk around at all times of the night. There is never any parking. They have a contract with a towing company to prey on young unsuspecting college kids. May 2018: Over the weekend my best friend and I could not get in touch with a friend that lives at Tiger Plaza. We knew something was wrong so we rushed to the apartment complex in separate cars. I got there first and found her passed out on the floor due to health issues. The fire department responded within 2 minutes of calling 911. EMS arrived a short time later. My best friend left her vehicle at the complex and rode with our sick friend in the ambulance; I drove to the hospital so that we would have a vehicle once she was released. When she was finally released, I drove them back to the apartment. I parked as close as I could to her unit because we didn't want her passing out again. The doctors told us to have someone stay with her overnight as she has heart issues, blood pressure issues, and seizure-like symptoms.
