Oct 2019: I went to take a tour today and I spoke with Amanda a few days ago on the phone. I was so excited to see the high rises today but when I arrived she didn’t even speak among the other women in the office she brushed me off to the black man as if she couldn’t be bothered with me all and I seen her do the entire time was sit at an computer. I toured with Carl and he was amazing and the high rise was amazing but the customer service I received in the leasing office was so unacceptable. Amanda needs to learn how to respect people of all races especially when me signing a lease would help pay her bills. Review from Google
Sep 2019: This apartment complex is a joke. They don't value safety and clearly have to compensate people for the few good reviews they actually do have. Do yourself a favor and scroll down further to see the countless incidents that have occurred since MAA took over. The good residents have all left by now and the new tenants just seem to get shadier. There have been so many noise problems in my time here and people just hang out in the alley blasting music. Review from Google
Jul 2019: I am taking this opportunity to express my gratitude towards our managers Amanda and Alyson at Post Alexander. They have been making tremendous efforts in making our stay safe and comfortable. I am very impressed with their management style. They both are very helpful, considerate and professional yet, strict and businesslike when it comes to enforcing rules and protocols of the property. I have lived at this property for over a decade and highly recommend residency at this complex. Review from Google
Jun 2019: I love Post Alexander Reserve! I recently moved in, and Amanda Lady in the Leasing Office went way above all of my expectations. She went out of her way to find me the best possible fit in terms of apartment unit, and continues to make sure that all the residents are happy here! Thank you, Amanda!! Review from Google
May 2019: I have been a resident at Post for a few years and totally love living here! Its private, well kept and the leasing staff is very helpful. Would highly recommend anyone, if you are looking for an apartment around Buckhead area. Ask for Amanda L at the leasing office, and you will be in great hands!! Review from Google
Apr 2019: Super nice and helpful staff! I was helped by Troi, who took the time to explain the difference in the views of the apartments and she also followed up to see if I needed help with anything else! I toured the building twice and each time the concierge was friendly and the building was also super clean. I decided to submit my application online and was approved within a few days with no problems. I'm excited to be moving in and feel like I got a great deal considering the amenities and location! Review from Google
Apr 2019: Post Alexander is a scam and a fraudulent property manager. My fiance and I applied for an apartment. Paid the fees of $470. We were told we were approved. Three days letter we were told our application was denied due to discrepancy. No explanation was given. My fiance have > 770 credit scores and above adequate income. The lack of professionalism is obscene. I cannot believe this property continues to exist in the Atlanta area. Review from Google
Mar 2019: dropped in to check out these reviews after seeing these guys on the news countless times the past few weeks. I'm honestly only leaving a review because of the humorous basic copy/paste responses the manager has given. What a joke!!!! dozens of break ins and an obvious crime issue and all you can do is give them some useless hotline to call? I truly feel terrible for your residents trapped for the remainder of their lease Review from Google

Mar 2019: OMG THESE REVIEWS ARE HORRIBLE! HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS? Thank you all for your reviews. Your reviews are helping more than you may know. THANK YOU!! There are several other nice and SAFE places in the area. Keep looking! Review from Google
Mar 2019: This is actually the best apartment experience I've had in Buckhead in over 3 years. The whole building and grounds area are kept very clean. Amenities and location are great. The leasing office was always helpful, which I've never experienced while renting. My hall was so quiet that I didn't event know I had neighbors half the time. The maintenance staff was also always good about getting any issues fixed quickly, although I only had to put in one request the entire year there. I would highly recommend living in the reserve building! Review from Google
Mar 2019: I just want to put people aware of their absurd rules and regulations pertaining to your guest(s) animal: "Any animal, including the animal of a guest, that visits the Apartment for any part of one (1) day shall be considered Your animal." This means that they will request for you to pay their pet's fee of $1,000 ($500 non-refundable and $500 refundable) even if you do not have a pet but have a friend's pet visiting. They will send you false information of complains to enforce such fees. Not to mentioned other issues concerning mold around the windows and an ac water leak that took over 5 days to resolve with a loud machine that was required to stay on at all times; they did nothing to compensate me for those 5 days that I could not stay at my place.
Feb 2019: Do not live here. Every single negative review you are reading online is accurate. It’s time for MAA to come in and clear house, the office staff is full of incompetence and could care less about helping anyone. 6 months into a lease they decide it’s time to start charging $100 a month for sewage that is normally a $6.56 charge and after admitting that is incorrect, they rationalize the charge by saying the water charge looks a little on the low end anyways so it evens out. Absolutely disgraceful! You’ve been warned, take your business somewhere else
Feb 2019: Visited a friend live here and the place looks awesome to me. Nice location, nice amenities, nice view. The best thing I like about the community is that the parking space is assigned so you don’t need to rush home for a spot at lower deck everyday. I literally thought about moving to Post High Rise when my current lease ends. But when I asked for more info from my friends, I heard another story. The first thing he doesn’t like is the rent. It’s overpriced and common area utility fee will appear on your monthly bill, which means 30 plus bucks on top of the base rent. The second thing is the noise. I can tell the wall is pretty thin and I even heard neighbors talking to each other. Heard pretty loud music in the hallway on 21 floor and seems like that’s something normal here. I would say the community is not ideal for family with kids. Review from Google
Feb 2019: Horrible Staff. Management does not communicate effectively. Smell of weed. My car got into a hit in run and management did not cooperate with police. There is not much video footage around the property where it should be so people get away with crimes all the time. Concierge lets guest up without calling. This is very dangerous. If you call the office you will never get through. Maintenance enter home without permission. Concierge is extremely lazy and has no respect for residents they are always on there phones or watching movies. If you have visitors forget about it because there will never be anywhere for them to park. Save yourself and look elsewhere. Review from Google
Feb 2019: For this property mgmt company to have a mission statement to "deliver superior service and value for residents.." I have to say, you are failing at your mission. Several robberies happened in one day and when the apartment management company had the opportunity to show their residents that they value a sense of security, personal property and safety and make it right, they chose to NOT be accountable. The door lock to the building was/is broken, security camera not working, security missing and several days to replace the lock on some of the robbed units doors without an alternative place to stay offered to their residents who were violated on their property! don't live here! Review from Google
Jan 2019: The final insult from Post Alexander High Rise. My daughter moved out in August 2018. We made the final payment in August received notice that everything was paid and we were due a refund of about $50. Today we received a bill for $275.68 for August rent. These are the most incompetent people I have every dealt with. Security was a joke. If there was a noise on the 16th floor assumed it was coming from her apartment. Security guard would show up saying someone was complaining about noise and it was obvious she was sleeping. However, it was OK if someone was blasting music at midnight. We had rented at Post Stafford no problem with staff or complaints about her guitar. Review from Google
Jan 2019: Stayed with a friend for a few days in the mid rise building recently - the smell of weed was so freaking strong I actually considered getting a hotel room. Building is nice, you’d think mgmt wouldn’t want their property smelling like an ILLEGAL substance?? Review from Google
Jan 2019: Moving to the area soon and have considered several options including this Post Property. However, just from several rude phone calls from the office, seemingly concerning safety issues, and the comments below that the place wreaks of weed??? This place isn't even worth a tour. There are MUCH better places in buckhead in the same price range Review from Google
Jan 2019: I was considering moving in with my friend in April because she currently lives in an apartment at High Rise at Post Alexander, but after how she was treated after her apartment got broken into (and after reading these terrible reviews), I am definitely not signing here. She and I are looking for a different apartment complex in the area. Review from Google
Jan 2019: I’m not one to complain on the internet but I have a bone to pick with this establishment. Living in Atlanta for half of my life I have never been so mistreated by a staff of any kind. My experience has not been pleasant to say the least! If you want a terrible place to live this is it and I mean that. If you are looking for the worst possible living conditions and all that comes with it you have found your new home. I think my rating of a 1 star shines light on the fact that I am not thrilled at all with my experience. You would have a better chance at a motel 6 getting good service than at Post Alexander. My utter disgust for this place has just ruined Atlanta for me. I will say that in all of this frustration one thing sticks out as a positive for me. That I will never have to stay in this awful apartment again! Review from Google
Jan 2019: Post Alexander, Thank you so much for failing to provide adequate security and a peaceful living environment for residents who deserve more than total tranquility for the price it costs to live in this area. Broken into apartments and cars? There is NO excuse. When the Residents are in danger due to your lack of security, lack to hold up your end of the deal, it is your fault not theirs. Own up to it. To future prospective residents, don’t live here unless you want to get ROBBED, IGNORED and BETRAYED by another conglomerate apartment complex!!! Review from Google
Dec 2018: Passed by several times but tonight was my first time visiting the community. I was expecting to spend the last night of 2018 with some friends in this high end community, but it turned out to be the worst choice I have ever made. I got here around 5:10 and my friend said concierge can send me up to his floor. But concierge was away when I got here, leaving a note saying “will come back soon” sometimes “soon” can be a tricky word but it took my about 20mins before I finally saw him coming back. There were several people waiting for him in front of me, so I just waited for my turn. When it’s finally my turn, he told me that he got a call and had to go somewhere. I don’t want to judge him but I never saw him got a call while waiting. I told him that I have been waiting for 30 plus minutes and would like to borrow him 1 minute to Review from Google
Dec 2018: I lived here for a year, without many issues. The gate would occasionally be broken & an elevator or 2 would be inoperable for days at a time, there would be random people hanging out in & around the building. Depending on the floor you’d smell weed, but other than that it was a bearable experience. I never felt too uncomfortable& the location was PERFECT for me! Recently, I was going to be moving back. I applied online, got approved. Submitted the necessary documents, bank statements, letter of employment etc. the night before I was to move in, I received an email stating my application had been denied for discrepancies. Later, I realized that the employer mistakenly stated I was both full time & part time. OBVIOUSLY I can’t be both! It was an oversight on her part, she happily would have verified employment status if they would have s Review from Google
Dec 2018: This Building is by far the worst place ever i have been staying in a hotel for over a month and explained this to the property prior to applying . I got approved then recieved a letter saying i was denied. In the previous review the young lady stated the same thing , I feel the same way about this property as well Review from Google
Nov 2018: one star is actually too much. MAA Properties is the worst. The problems occurred as soon as they took over Post Alexander. Their corporate is unresponsive, they double charged me after my lease was up, overage charges on power that was never rectified, rude leasing office staff. Service levels are extremely low for a luxury apartment property. There are a ton of luxury apartments in the area. Save your hard earned money! You just responded with the same 3rd party customer service line WHERE MAA DOES NOT CALL ANYONE BACK. Even your response is in adequate to any possible solution, which just proved my original point/issue. Review from Google
