Oct 2019: The homeless people sleeping in the hallways is too much and too often. Hallway carpets are never cleaned. Every time I walk out of my apartment my asthma gets intense until I can get outside to fresh air. Review from Google
Oct 2019: Ever heard the phrase the devil is in the details well that’s how I would describe my experience at Avana on Main. My lease was incorrect and my rent was increased, my apartment didn’t come with a microwave (yes in 2019), the common areas smell nice but look hideous (visibly stained, dirty carpet, scratched up walls). I could list more, but I’m sure you get the picture. Management has great potential, but unfortunately all their responses are robotic and impersonal. Review from Google
Sep 2019: If there was an option of 0 star would have given that or even negative. The managing staff doesn't do anything except to smirk and laugh sarcastically. The apartments are not at all maintained , there are rats all over (there were more than 5-6 rats in my apartment) and don't get me started over roaches and ants. No maintenance at all , they in a way harass the tenants who live there. The worst apartment to live in.The additional charges (200$ utility bill , trash violation fee (50$) etc,) will drain your pockets.NEVER ,NEVER MOVE IN in this DIRTY FILTHY good for nothing apartment complex. Aug 2019: LOVE the location of the apartments. I am able to get to work in Midtown in about 10 minutes using the MARTA station that's only a few steps away. I have been living here for about 9 months now and have had great interactions with the office staff. Most recently Alex & Ismar in the leasing office have been great help with retrieving packages from the Luxer system. Also appreciate the events that the staff organizes every now and then - a complete change from the previous management that did not host events. The only thing that I would appreciate from neighbors is if they would pick up after their pets but that's something a bit hard to control. Review from Google
Jul 2019: The best thing about this place is the location clearly. Our leasing agent Alex was also awesome as well. The workout center and pool are nice to BUT let me tell you. Please do your research before you move into an apartment, read reviews, talk to neighbors ETC. I keep asking myself was I blind, drunk or high when I looked at this place or did they persuade me by showing me the nicest floor in the building? We have only been living here a week and so far, our AC was leaking, windows do not close all the way and they are not sealed properly. We also had WAY too many bugs, I mean it has been ridiculous. It is making me second guess choosing this place to call home. The hallway on the way to our apartment smells like pee, people also don’t throw their trash away in the trash shoot. They are overpriced and the maintenance issues take over a month to fix. Employees lie as well. They will say whatever to get you into a lease then tell you they can change it after 30 days? Weird. We didn’t have AC for over a month (kept lying to us and telling us they fixed it when they didn’t), ice maker is still broken and has been for six months, fridge has been leaking, utilities bills are unreal high because the windows are broken and won’t fully close. The list goes on and on. We signed a lease to pay $752 each (2 bedroom 2 bath) and we pay about $930 each with all the extra fees they throw on and don’t tell you about. They also charge you $20 for trash when it’s completely out of your way depending on which apartment you are in. We had been to a few other complexes, and being college students we weren’t being very respected by the leasing agents or other staff at multiple complexes. BUT at avana on main Crystalle was so sweet and respectful to me and my roommate. She made us feel comfortable asking any questions and expressing any concerns we had to her. Along with that, she was very knowledgeable about not only the complex but also the environment which is super helpful when trying to decide where to live. People drive like bats out of hell in the parking garage. They’ll turn the corner right into your lane. I’ve almost gotten hit twice in the 2 weeks I’ve been here. Also there’s no point in the garage even being there because when it rains outside, it also rains inside the garage.
If you like roaches you should definitely live here. They come out of your kitchen sink, bathtub drain, and walls to greet you. I really feel disgusted. I’ve never in my life had to deal with roaches so this is a very humbling experience.

Jan 2019: I have lived here for two years and have loved every single moment! Staff is incredibly nice, it is always clean, and between the gates and it being on Marta land (hence always Marta police near) I ALWAYS feel safe! I work odd hours and sometimes come home really late or have to go to work really early so feeling safe is VERY important to me! Speaking of Marta....the Marta transit is steps away!! How convenient!! I've never had to drive to work and worry about being stuck in traffic or accidents. I have suggested this apartment to so many coworkers! I hardly drive my car and if I do I don't drive far because everything thing I need is in a two mile radius. I can only think of one major issue in the two years of living here and the staff were right on top of it!! Excellent location with Marta, Highways I-85 and 400, and a shopping center within walking distance.
The pricing is good for this style and location of apartment.
The walls are thick and I don't here my neighbors next door.
Nice amenities including pool and gym.
Feels safe and has MARTA police nearby.
Parking is almost always available on your floor.
Elevators (not all places have them...)
Helpful and friendly staff.

I wanted to take time out to write a review with my experience at uptown square. Especially shouts out to shandrika in the leasing office for being so friendly and really taking her time to accommodate me and show me every unit I was interested in. The facility was nice and nearby restaurants and shopping. I unfortunately I didn’t end up moving there after I applied because I chose a different location more convenient to work, but the office staff has been quick to respond and also refund me my deposit which a lot of places aren’t nice about doing that. Dec 2017: I have lived at Uptown Square for almost 6 months now. Aside from some issues with move in, our experience has been really positive. Like other reviews have said, the apartments are in a really convenient location at a relatively affordable price. MARTA, Kroger, Home Depot, Target, and several restaurants are within walking distance. The front office staff is helpful and maintenance is really quick to respond to requests. Review from Google
Dec 2017: I have lived at Uptown Square since 2015 and have had a really great experience thus far. Yes - there are college-age tenants there so sometimes noise will occur; however, the office is responsive to complaints and supportive of tenant needs. Maintenance is the BEST asset in my opinion. They will fix everything ASAP and are very friendly. Office staff has also always been friendly to me - even with changes in management. -- In that, I am very surprised that people are complaining in their reviews; especially mentioning bed bugs in 18 units. Like, how would you know that as a tenant? (It sounds like petty sabotage to me). Yes - that sort of thing is possible; however, I do not have bed bugs, and have heard no mention of them from my neighbors in my building.
