Mar 2018: I've lived here for 4 months now and I think it's time for me to write a review. I really enjoy living here. The staff is always nice, helpful, and understanding. They care about their residents. This building is an older one, but the maintenance staff makes it feel new.
The location is fantastic. It's quiet and safe. Neighbors are lovely. Several grocery stores and gas stations nearby. There many different bus routes on this rode that go to Lindbergh station and back (a new bus comes every 15-20 minutes).
As a person who has had several bad experiences when renting, I can say this has been the best one so far. Review from Google
Dec 2017: Sloan has long been shoddy and a bit shady - but cheap. Now, they’re trying to make the place look pretty and then raise rents to match the new, luxury places nearby. But, unlike those new places, the Sloan buildings are old or maybe just poorly constructed. You can hear every footstep overhead and every conversation in the walkways, so imagine what it’s like when people blare music or honk horns at all hours. The roaches are huge, and, since the buildings are old, they get inside a lot. Also, remember you’re forced to pay $90/month for an internet/cable package.
I wish someone had told me this, so I’m telling you: look at the quote they give you, add $90/month for cable you probably don’t want, add $100+/month for next year's rent hike, and add the cost of moving out when the rent goes too high. I've lived and have looked for places to live all over town... this place is my #1choice. Hot water runs out after about five minutes. Maintenance issues take forever to get completed. Management is unresponsive. There is absolutely no security. One night I had the wheels stolen off of my vehicle right in the parking lot. And to top it off they kept nearly all of my security deposit despite leaving the place in excellent condition. While there have been some major changes with shifting managers, I am seeing improvements. I enjoy the community, friendly neighbors! I am so glad they finally have the option to pay rent online with out the convenience fee; this is a welcomed addition so thank you for that! The fitness center is nice and well kept. I've never had issues with pests and most service requests are dealt with in a timely manner. The rent is reasonable for the location and the size!

Apr 2017: Apartments are not very well managed. I understand that I did not live in a renovated unit, however, in less than a year of staying here my wife and I have put in almost 50 maintenance requests. Some small things like an outlet not working but a lot of major ones like the heating and air not working (for multiple weeks), no working refrigerator (about a month), and the dishwasher no functioning many times. Management has changed, either through being fired or quitting, at least 3 times since we have been here. It is cheap, but it shows.

Since he left, it's been a revolving door at the office and nothing gets done. Roaches are terrible, even though I'm clean. and I clean every darned day. Maintenance never gets addressed. My AC was out for 2 weeks last summer. Heaven help anyone who moves in here.

Review from 11/19/15 on GoogleOct 2015: Unfortunately, I have to agree with the negative comments of the last 2 reviews. We are going on our second year living here and have had MANY negative interactions. Upon first moving in, I had to get very nasty with the front office staff (who are all gone now) because we were told we would be moving into a 100% upgraded unit and that was definitely NOT the case. There were burn marks on the kitchen counters, old water fixtures, shelves in the closets and laundry room falling down, door not closing correctly, etc. After being told multiple times that nothing could be done, some of those issues were eventually fixed. Other than a few mishaps, everything has been fairly good until now. We were recently give 1 week to move everything out of the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom so someone could replace the plumbing.
Review from 10/7/15 on GoogleSep 2015: DO NOT MOVE HERE! Everything the person said in the last post was completely true. I'm going on my second year living here and can't wait until my lease is up. Management is ALWAYS changing and new management is HORRIBLE! No notice with "renovations," racking up the prices for a new gym and leasing office while leaving the actual apartments in shambles. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE IN THE OFFICE, EVER! No apologies for it either. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Oct 2012: Sloan square is at a very convenient spot. Easy access for me to get to work, to go to buckhead area, and 6 bus goes in front of it make it really easy!
Overall, apt is good and a small gym included and swimming pool, but no gas BBQ grill. You have to bring your own charcoal. Review on Apartment Ratings from 10/02/12Dec 2010: Living here for 1 year, just got renewed.

Large appartment with washer and dryer, very convenient!
seperate full bathroom for my roommate and me.
Good location, near Emory, easy access to MARTA and Emory shuttle.
