Hi, Loading...

Dec 2017: Roaches everywhere. Sleeping with roaches crawling all over our walls and in our kitchen, management won’t do the needed treatment or tells you to buy it yourself. Live ANYWHERE ELSE. I work in the industry and know how a property should handle these issues and this is not how it’s done. Grossest place I’ve ever lived. Not to mention the community is so old it’s falling apart piece by piece since the day we moved in. Review from Google
Nov 2017: I lived at clear run for quite a few years Here are the pros: Nice area. Good size apartment Screened in porch I liked how they had the trash service I liked how they had the personal gym and laundry room. The maintenance staff when they did their work, it was sometimes good. CONS: a lot of maintenance issues ant issues oven issues dishwasher issues shower issues screen issue-the screen would get loose so i would tape it. water drip issues shelves broke in my cabinet and in my laundry room, they would ripe from wall, and i didnt even have anything heavy on them. When I moved into my apartment my fridge was messed up. my cabinets were messed up. and my apartment that night was infested with flying ants The maintenance people keep changing personal drama issues. Since I lived there: Sarah, Olivia, Andrew, Amy, Rebecca, Austin, Patrici Review from Google
Nov 2017: This complex is absolutely beautiful and clean. However the cost to live here...I suggest you be earning a solid $2,000per month to live here comfortably. Review from Google
Jul 2017: I would not recommend this complex. Maintainence coming in as they please. Complained to the office multiple times about residents taking up two parking spots (driving small vehicles). No lights in the bedrooms. I recently moved out and received a bill for $1,200 in cleaning fees and carpet replacement!?!! A couple months before moving out, I had the complexes carpet cleaners come to shampoo the carpets and there was only one small stain from a pen my dog got a hold of. Nothing else was wrong with the carpets! WARNING****. When renting an apartment, when you receive the bill after you move out and they don't have a picture from EACH CHARGE, they HAVE TO REMOVE THAT CHARGE! And I will be making sure they have all pictures when I come to the office and review the charges. Review from Google
May 2017: although SOME of the staff at clear run was nice, I wouldn't suggest anyone moving in unless they want to throw out money on an overpriced apartment. Rent is way overpriced for a small, old, drafty apartment. There is no overhead lights in the bedrooms, and the lack of windows throughout the apartment make it very dark with little natural light. Half the time one of the pools available was closed down, and almost always the grill is out of propane. Review from 5/20/17 on Google
Apr 2017: I have lived in many different apartments between the Raleigh and Wilmington areas. Clear Run is about average when it comes to quality, but it is the most overpriced apartment I have lived in. The units are very energy inefficient. During the colder months you can feel a stream of cold air coming in around the windows, door, and mainly the sliding place door. The apartment was very dirty when I moved in and I had to clean a lot of stuff myself. Throughout the year there are a lot of random reasons why they HAVE to get inside your apartment, and they cannot/will not give you a set time (they just tell you between 9am and 5pm). Review from 4/14/17 on Google
Mar 2017: DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. Worst apartment complex in Wilmington. There were roaches and rats in the walls. They are so slow to respond to maintenance problems. Literally could here scratching from rats in the walls when you sleep. Disgusting place to live and I really hope you take this review to heart and don't move in to this place. wish there was 0 star rating. Review from 3/4/17 on Google
Oct 2016: Lived here for a month now, bottom floor, and love it. Well lit at night. Pool that is huge and clean and no one uses. Pretty perfect at it's price point. Review from 10/25/16 on Google

Mar 2016: Clear run does not ever pay attention to details. No matter how much you badger them to fix something, they don't or claim you don't know what you're talking about. Here is what our pool looks like year round, even during the summer!! Review from 3/29/16 on Apartment Ratings
Oct 2015: We had a great experience until ___ became Manager in out last year. The office staff became rude, uninviting, unconcerned about your issues. Rebecca even made a rule that you couldn't keep plants, hanging plants or even outside items on your patio. Where else are you suppose store items neatly where there's is no other storage. My God its a patio. ____ the previous manager was concerned about her residents.and cared for the grounds and staff and was dedicated to the residents happiness.Rebecca doesn't want residents she wants move in and move outs. Sep 2015: Living in Clear Run Apartments was BY FAR the most unpleasant experience I have ever had. The office staff's level of incompetence is embarrassing. They have plenty of time to cash your rent check, but if you want them to keep track of any key cards, decal, etc. I suggest you take a picture because believe me when I say they will claim you didn't turn it in. They will also tell you that they are "too busy" to follow up with tenant recommendation while your new apartment remains in limbo. They will nickel and dime you for cleaning items they are REMOVING FROM YOUR APARTMENT for renovations. Clear Run is also quick to charge you fines for things on your porch or for damages that are out of your control. Review from 9/3/2015 on Apartment Ratings
Sep 2015: I currently live in phase 3 at clear run. I absolutely hate it. The office staff is so fake nice it isn't even funny. All they talk about is how they are here for their tenants. But as soon as you have a problem they are either rude on the phone or do not know what they are doing. Maintenance will come and fix an issue and then the next day it's messed up again. We moved in and had problems they were supposed to come and fix and replace and no one did. Our pool in phase 3 was green basically all summer long. (HOW GROSS!!!) They just cleaned it the other day. It's now the first of September. don't park in visitors spots because you WILL get ants in your car. Review from 9/02/15 on Apartment Ratings
Nov 2014: Our apartment looks nothing like the model that was shown to us, and looks like it has been poorly maintained... we were promised a renovated apartment and pay more rent for one; however, it looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 90's. Not to mention, they are crazy with their rules, from micromanaging what you have on your porch (ie, not bicycles), to what you hang in your windows (ie, my colorful grateful dead tapestry they made me take down), they do not grant very much freedom of expression. The staff is comprised of a bunch of teenager who do not know what they are doing. I did not feel like I was listened to the whole time I lived there. I do not recommend this complex to anyone, and will not be renewing my lease. I guess you pay for the location. Review from 11/07/14 on Apartment Ratings
May 2014: Whatever you do, do NOT rent from Clear Run. I have had more problems than I can count living here: toilets stop working about every 3 weeks and we have to get a maintenance worker to come in all the time, they charges us $50 to have a pet fish (I'm not kidding, it was in a little gallon-sized fish tank), we are extremely clean people and still get roaches in our apartment all the time, and the office staff is ridiculous. Most of the office staff is just college kids who don't really care about their jobs, so when I call with questions, they say they'll "get back to me tomorrow" and never do. Plus, the head manager is just...awful. So rude I don't know how she still has a job here. She just cuts you off mid-sentence when you're voicing a concern to make excuses. Apr 2014: DO NOT RENT WITH CLEAR RUN! They will try to suck every last penny from you!! I have never experienced such horrible customer service from a company in my life! The list goes on and on. Miss Rebecca Lynn, the lady in charge of it all, is the absolute worst! She is unorganized and has been rude on multiple occasions to me. On one occasion, I called to complain about how an maintenance worker walked in my house unannounced which terrified me. Rebecca replied saying that she had scheduled a "pre-moveout inspection." This was a shock to me because I wasnt even planning on moving out. My plan was to sign another lease with them. They told me my spot had already been filled despite the fact that I wished to resign with them. Review from 4/25/2014 on Apartment Ratings
Nov 2013: I have never written an online review before, but I had to write one about Clear Run to say that you should never, under any circumstance, rent from Clear Run. I have been here for 3 months and am dumbfounded how a business who runs on customer satisfaction cares so little about their customers. The management team is unhelpful, unknowledgeable and do not care if you have a problem. They say they offer "emergency maintenance" but would not send a plumber over when my toilet was overflowing because they did not deem it an emergency. They charge $50 for a fish. They cut so many corners when building these awful buildings that there is always, ALWAYS one problem after another. Review from 11/3/2013 on Apartment Ratings
