Nov 2015: this apartment complex has been very good to me the past year and a half and i will be sad to go: they easily have the friendliest staff of any place iv lived so far! They host awesome events in the clubhouse on a regular basis and have recently partnered with Aerofit to provide FREE Zumba/ yoga classes once a week in their fitness center.
With lots of open grassy areas to play in, this apartment complex is one of the most pet friendly you will find! (Nov 29 current resident craigslist)
Nov 2015: Beware of roommate matching. I got placed with a psycho roommate who caused me all kinds of trouble. I am still on guard ever after moving out as the roommate's family are the sue happy type of people.

Nov 2015: I live in a 4 person apartment here at the DoL and things have been great so far! 1) If you complain about bills, I don't think The District can change all the lights you leave on and unneeded water usage! ;) we paid like $20 each so... 2) The staff is always helpful and friendly and maintenance always comes to our apartment, when we need them! 3) Internet has been fine, if I have had any hiccups it has only been Netflix, but not my browsers or anything! 4) If you set up recurring payments or learn how to fill out a check, you don't have to pay the $10 convenience fee!

Oct 2015: I can no longer, in good confidence, recommend the District for the average college student looking for a place to live. The District relies far too much on third-party services that are price-gouging its residents.
Let me preface this by saying I've been a resident for two years going into three. I will give credit where credit is due and say that the front office and maintenance staff have been wonderful and hard working. The District strives itself on providing a community atmosphere and its staff has been doing its hardest to maintain that.
