Hi, Loading...

Oct 2019: This was not my apartment. My boyfriend lived here and it has been a horrible experience. The maintenance is non existent. My boyfriend had a constant leak in his tub for an entire semester, and no HOT WATER, he had to shower at the gym or his neighbor’s apartment. Furthermore, they have often charged file an check fees for problems that have been complained about and are known to be preexisting in the apartment. Also, the land lady does not respond to emails. As in ever. And she is often not in her office during her posted office hours. Which makes it nearly impossible to communicate in any way. These are the worst and way over priced, they are not ethical nor honest managers. Whatever you do, do not sign a contract here. You will regret it. Unless you’re okay with paying a lot for a horrible apartment and random fees being charged to you. Review from Google
Mar 2019: Kept my six month pre-paid rent for a contract that wouldn't start for another month and a half because when I removed my name from the church and was given a 3 day eviction notice because my bishop went out of his way to make sure of it. Review from Google
Dec 2018: I loved here for a year and a half. The managing staff are usually very helpful and willing to do whatever they can to resolve your issue. The maintenance man is very kind and very skilled. The apartments are nice, but a little small for the price vvi would suggest living here because it has very good access to BYU's campus. Review from Google
Nov 2018: I've stayed at worse apartments, and I've lived in many apartments. This was honestly the most average place I've lived at. The apartment is small. Painfully small sometimes, but the rent is a bit cheaper than most other places south campus. The location is nice, a short walk to campus. The wards do not make sense here. I was in the C building, and instead of having a ward with other buildings in Moon, we were spread across several blocks, none very close together. I'm told each ward is like that--one Moon building is ripped out and paired with some other complex or houses. Saying anything about management wouldn't make much sense because it changes so frequently. In 8 months, it changed 3 times. The apartment quality is not great. The men's apartments are very old, while the women's apartments have been renovated. Heating and A/C work t Review from Google
Oct 2018: I lived here for a while their management was awful and it was over priced for what you get. But it was a roof over your head and SUPER uncomfortable beds so don’t expect anything that requires work for them. Review from Google
Jun 2018: I would not recommend anyone who is single to live in Moon Apartments. If you are looking for married housing, it's good enough relative to the competition. If you are looking for single housing though, Moon is not a good bang for your buck. If it was $100 cheaper I would say it's a great place to live, but the prices for Moon are the same as much much nicer apartments. Review from Google
Apr 2018: Make sure you read the contract. Moon Apartment's owner is not a "willing to negotiate" type of landlord, and will nail you on the fine print. The contact is 5 pages of single spaced, small font text, filled with legal lingo. Make sure you read through the random fees carefully. Review from Google
Apr 2018: I would not recommend anyone who is single to live in Moon Apartments. If you are looking for married housing, you do what you need to do (finding ANY married housing is near impossible). If you are looking for single housing though, Moon is not a good bang for your buck. If it was $100 cheaper I would say it's fine, but the prices for Moon are the same as the rates at much much nicer apartments. Review from Google

Dec 2017: I loved my roommates and the location of Moon Apartments however I did not like how the management. I tried to move out early and they were really rude and never answered my emails and it was very hard to communicate. It caused a lot of stress even though I had a new girl moving in my room, I got a bunch of emails saying I still needed to pay rent. They were not helpful because they didn’t care and they were never in their office on time so I could never talk to mangement face to face. If they improved this and were easy to communicate and understanding I would give them a higher rating. It’s a good location and good ward that i attended at Moon Apartments but if you plan on leaving early then get ready for a lot of waiting and getting nothing done. Review from Google
Nov 2017: The complex is old but the apartments look nice. it is a combined ward (Park Place & Liberty Sq) I don't like the office hours because it is at random hours. The people are super nice. The price is affordable and two blocks away from Campus. The washers and the dryers are old and sometimes it will take your quarters so be careful. there is an assigned parking space for each person. Blg. E is the closest to the stairs that lead to the BYU- JSB Review from Google
Oct 2017: Decent housing, strict clean checks. Flexible prices and willing to allow residents to sell their contacts. Review from Google
Sep 2017: A little dated inside but in good condition! It's a good price for the location! And the ward for building E is amazing (YSA ward 42)! Review from 9/23/17 on Google
Jul 2017: Decent apartment for the price. It's married housing for only summer, so you'll have to move apartments if you're married for fall. Laundry is a bit expensive: $1 for 30 min wash & $1 for 40 min dryer. The machines are old, but they do dry clothes well. Review from 7/19/17 on Google
May 2017: Moon has positive and negative things about it just as any other housing location near BYU. The place isn't necessarily updated, but most household items function properly. If not, maintenance is "only one call away"! (Charlie Puth) People might say it's a bit expensive, but it is important to consider that Moon is so close to campus and that is a great benefit! I think it's a great place to live if you know how to clean. ;) Managers and such were WONDERFUL to me at least. Overall a great experience. Review from 5/22/17 on Google
May 2017: I have lived at Moon Apartments for coming up on 4 years and have never had any major problems. Maintenance responds very quickly to urgent maintenance needs. If it is a minor fix, it may be put off for a day or two if there are other urgent needs. The complex is very close to campus. It is reasonably priced for being so close. I pay $289 per month for a year round contract. The owners are very nice and only ask you to leave the apartment in the same way you found it. Cleaning checks during the year are a breeze but are more intense when someone moves out of the apartment. When someone is leaving, you are supposed to really deep clean the apartment so that it looks good for whoever moves in (just like it should be when you moved in). Review from 5/10/17 on Google
May 2017: I never get on and write reviews. ever. But I was asked by management to give an honest response to how I thought move-out cleaning checks were handled. My experience at Moon was awesome and I plan on living there again, however, I think the final checks need to be changed. I understand that cleaning checks are important but I think they were not handled well. All of the jobs were assigned before final cleaning checks but no other previous cleaning checks were specifically assigned to tenants. Previous checks were just first-come, first-serve kind of thing that we talked out between roommates. Review from 5/6/17 on Google
