Oct 2019: Overall great experience. Apartment was nice and clean when we moved in. Could pay rent online. Management was always helpful and friendly. Underground parking was awesome. Friendly neighbors.
Only con was that people don't clean up their dog poop there. Review from Google Oct 2019: The office management are so nice and friendly, Helped me to move fast, and if I need anything they solve my problem right away!! Can’t hear my neighbors, love my place!!! :) Review from Google Oct 2019: We moved in a about a month ago now and move-in was nice and easy. I like being able to pay my rent online so that is a great plus for the nerd in me.
Management was very nice and helpful to my many questions. Maintenance is great as well - I had many requests and everyone of the requests were quickly addressed and taken care of.
The neighbors are nice and quite and don't hear anyone. The only "noise" I hear is from I-15, with the endless traffic noise.
There is plenty of parking, which is great!
I have not used the laundry facility mainly due to the reports about it and can't afford to lose money to machines that are not working, so I have opted to go over to a friend's house.
We are close to lots of shopping and restaurants which is great. It's always nice not to have to travel far to get what I need.
We came a long way to get here and it's nice to be close to everything. Everyone here is so much nicer than where we moved from.
We enjoy living here! Review from Google Sep 2019: I went in to tour and was told that the units advertised would go faster than I would be able to move in, even if I put a deposit down. The only units that would be ready when I was were currently being renovated (which meant no tour) and were $200+ more than the advertised units. Also, since there's no website, I'll break it to you now: they require a media package fee. This never-desired "feature" was not listed in either ad I saw for this complex on two different sites, and wasn't included in the listed price, which means that you can safely add on an additional $100 to any rent price you see, at least, not to mention utilities.
Appearance-wise, the outside of the units look more like a prison than residences. Someone had a queen mattress just chilling outside their door, no biggie. No plants in their eponymous courtyard, just a couple of basketball hoops and old picnic tables on concrete Review from Google Jun 2019: The apartments are dilapidated and so is the parking lot in the back, my brother lives here with a roommate and his rent is still sky high, especially considering the small about of space he has to live and the state in which that space is, I would reccomend avoiding this complex Review from Google Apr 2019: I've been living in there for a couple months it's close to everything, also free wifi! Review from Google Apr 2019: The place is under new management since we moved in and the improvements have been vast. It's a great location and great space. It could use some greenery in the central courtyards, but other than that it's a great value. Review from Google Jul 2018: I will be moving into Courtside Apartments in a August of 2018, and so far the process has been seamless. I learned that they got new management in March, and most of their reviews are old and now inaccurate. They are working like crazy to make it a better experience for their residents, even building a new laundromat for the complex! This review is a little premature, and I will try to update it when I officially move in. Review from Google Jul 2018: I lived here for 5 months, I am grateful for the life that the contract has ended. Starting with the administration, they do not have any kind of skills to talk to their tenants, they are treated like a piece of nothing. Secondly, you will rent the apartment without maintenance work done prior to your contract start date. Third, the laundry is a mess of 10 dryers and about 10 washing machines, only 2 or 3 work well. Fourth, call them 100 times regarding a consultation with the department, they can send someone to verify with you, unfortunately, you may have to wait for that person for more than 2 weeks.
I don’t definitely recommend courtside apartments to anybody. Review from Google Jun 2018: FIX THE DAMN LAUNDRY ROOM.
It’s absolute TRASH. None of the machines work!! The owner of this place is greedy. Can’t spend any of his precious money to fix our machines from the 60’s. Review from Google Jun 2018: I love that this new management took over to try and make this a “better living experienceâ€. But it’s actually the opposite.
Back in February tenants got an email from
Vision Real Estate claiming that they “hear our frustrations†about the laundry facility and they are getting NEW laundry equipment with KEYPAD entry.
It’s now JUNE and that has yet to happen. In fact, the laundry facilities are in WORSE condition than they were before Vision Real Estate took over.
It’s so nice that they keep raising rent, and tenants don’t see ANY improvement in return.
I believe this new management is all-talk. They tell us what we want to hear and don’t follow through. Review from Google May 2018: These guys are the reason Seven Peaks is shutting down. Screw these guys and screw their greedy management. I will boycott them and tell everyone I know to boycott them. Review from Google Mar 2018: Laundry rooms are absolutely disgusting and unacceptable!
Had to wash my clothes in the north building and dry (well..TRY to dry them.. it ate my money in two machines) in the south building because this place doesn’t have one decent functioning laundry room.
Literally 1 or 2 washing machines work. What is the point of having so many?
The laundry rooms are FILTHY and smell like rotten stale water (probably because most of them are broken and have dirty water sitting in them).
The dryers eat your money. The ones that actually turn on don’t even dry your clothes. It’s just ridiculous.
By far the WORST laundry facility of any apartment I’ve ever lived at (and i’ve lived at MANY). Review from Google Feb 2018: Trust the poor reviews on here. You do not want to live here. The walls are paper thin and you can easily hear your neighbors talking in the living room. The apartments are not well kept and are hard to clean with the types of paint and finishes used throughout. The staff is unforgivably terrible to work with. They have been known to withhold security deposits and are famous for being rude to residents. The grass is usually not cleaned up after pets go out and parking is horrendous. The washers and dryers may ruin your clothes. I could go on. You do not want to live here. Terrible! Review from Google Dec 2017: I called this place the prion yard because of the way it is set up feels like a prison, but that didn’t bother me much.
Pros: the apartment was nice and worked great for my wife and I. There was under ground parking. Some of the utilities were included in the rent.
Cons: they are awful with their billing and we had more problems with them and trying to pay them or having them try to double charge us. The girl in the front office was always rude too. And it was slow to get the repair man to fix something.
Review from 12/2/17 on Google Sep 2017: This is a good place to live with a small family. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom per apartment. The upkeep on the apartments themselves is good-great. There is tons of cabinet and pantry space for all of those house wives or men that like to cook/bake (I love baking). The internet is great most of the time. Sometimes it has its downs but that's true no matter where you go. The parking is in the basement which is nice. I have heard rumors of robbery down there but have never encountered it myself.
Now downsides...
The laundry room is shared and never kept up. I think there are two working washing machines at a time. Frustrating unless you can coordinate with your 50 neighbors who has what day. Maintenance is a little slow to respond, granted there is lots to do.
Review from 9/15/17 on Google Sep 2017: I have a friend who has lived in a few different units here, and they all seem pretty nice. There is loads of parking, which is extremely rare in the area. Nice apartments!
Review from 9/9/17 on Google Sep 2017: Our actual apartment unit is nice and I've enjoyed living in it. We've had a few issues but they've been fixed.
My big issue is the laundry room!! I am not able to take my laundry elsewhere.. I have to do it here. Currently TWO of EIGHT washing machines work. That's ridiculous!! The ones that are broken have had water in them for who knows how long and it smells awful!! As far as the dryers go, I think 4 or 5 of those work. I just don't understand why we can't have a fully functioning laundry facility when we all pay decent money to live here. Please fix the machines!
Review from 9/5/17 on Google Aug 2017: Giving it two stars cause I was fortunate enough to not meet management since my unfortunate brother always did. The washers yes are bad I say use them when your lazy and don't have time or energy to go to another laundromat and open to wasting money. The outside just looks bad. The dog poop situations probably the worst I've seen in my life and I'll spare the details.... the insides ugly too. Apartment 484 is haunted too I had to bless it daily at one point. Just mentioning it bc it's not fun living through it Review from Google
