Hi, Loading...

May 2017: XXXX was great !!! She took care of my maintenance problem right away I put in my request the night before and by the next morning she was here ready to take care of my problem, also very friendly and kind. Definitely one of the best on the maintenance staff. (: Review from 5/14/17 on Google
May 2017: Love how close everything is (right across the parking lot from UTSA campus and across the street from The Block SA) and the maintenance is quick and willing to help you fix any problems. I put in a maintenance request on their website for my bathroom and the Maintenance assistant, NIChole, was here within 10 minutes and she fixed my problems in 5. It's not a perfect place, but it's got a good price, good service, and a convenient location. Review from 5/13/17 on Google
May 2017: THE MAINTENANCE IS GREAT This week I've had the best experience when it comes to how speedy the maintenance teams are here. Thank you to XXXX and XXXX for helping me fix my bath tub, sink, and Kitchen! Yall are lifestyle saver! Review from 5/9/17 on Google
May 2017: I think UOaks is a pretty great place to live, it's conveniently located, the staff and RAs are all generally friendly and professional, and quick to respond to requests. It's DEFINITELY a better price than the other dorms at UTSA, much cheaper per month if you're in a four bedroom, and everyone gets their own room. We have kitchens in every dorm which is really convenient. It's honestly what you make of it, it's not super luxurious at move in but it's easy to make it feel like home, and like any dorm experience a lot depends on who your dormmates are. I would definitely recommend it. Review from 5/3/17 on Google
Apr 2017: I'm honestly quite surprised by the poor reviews. My husband and I just moved to university oaks in January. So far we have had a great experience! Yes the appliances are a little old but everything works and they are prompt to fix it if it's not working. The management is very helpful and understanding. We don't have any noise problems. The apartment is the right size and has 2 closets in the bedroom! That's a plus! Review from 4/20/17 on Google
Apr 2017: These apartments are overpriced considering the condition, everything is old and falling apart. Safety is also a concern here, the gates are never closed so anyone can enter whenever they want. There has been robberies and sexual assaults and they notify you last minute about what's going on. However the maintenance workers are really nice, they work really hard. Review from 4/17/17 on Google
Apr 2017: This apartment sucks, don't even think about getting this apartment! My water pressure is really low right now, they charged me $18.00 since I went "over" the electricity allowance. I think that's BS since I am never at my apartment. If I am, I normally have the lights off and I don't even have a TV!!!?? I always make sure my temp in my room is 75-78. I call it bull. Normally freshmen and transfer students go here since they don't really know much about other apartments. Theres better apartments, look for others. If I could give this zeros stars I would. Mar 2017: These dorms look nice on the outside but beware. . . Living here would have made my first year of college so much worse, the only reason I'm able to tolerate it is because I make an effort not to go home. I've probably had to enter my room through my window more than my door because the door lock things break almost every day. Currently they are doing the most loud construction on the roof, which is obviously a greater problem than not being able to open our own doors. Also, my room is so small. I brought more stuff down with me than could fit in the incredibly small closet they gave us, so I have to leave some stuff on my floor because there is no where else to put it. Dec 2016: Honestly, I liked University Oaks, in August 2015. That was my first semester of college (2015-16); first time being independent. Soon after I started to see this place for what it truly is. Honestly, it’s not worth moving here, but it's bearable. Sadly, I wasn’t able to lease anywhere else at the start of my second semester. So here I am again. (2016-17.) Rent is expensive, with leasing from August to May costing about $505 and from August to July being $399. (Those were the Prices for an apartment with 4 rooms w/ 2 bath and each person pays that amount. And you are given a utility allowance (I think is like $30, but I could be wrong) but usually, my roommates and I are EACH have to pay an extra $10-25, we don’t even own a TV!) All four of us together pay about 1,500+. Review from 12/28/16 on Google
Dec 2016: Okay.. I have to leave a review because this is my second year at Oaks and it is NOT at all like everyone is saying.. I wouldn't still be here if it was. I do live on the top floor so I don't have complaints about neighbors or noise. The only thing I've encountered recently is that the guys across from me like to smoke cigarettes on the porch.. no bueno. I have had no problem paying rent, receiving packages, parking, or anything of that nature. And the wifi only goes out like once month, if that. The management has been wonderful to me. They respect your privacy and do not enter without sending an email of dates they need to do checks or, of course, if you have a maintenance request. Review from 12/9/16 on Google
Nov 2016: EVERYTHING SUCKS. For starters, I have never lived in a more infested, loud, and inconvenient place such as University Oaks. We had 2 rats in our apartment, several cockroaches and always have ants crawling everywhere despite our cleanliness. We tried complaining but the management doesn't seem to care at all. The hot water goes off all the time, there is always construction going on with no time regulation and zero consideration of noise levels for the apartments near to it, and there is always loud bumping music with no one to regulate the mischief that goes on. Review from 11/14/16 on Google
Jun 2016: Not as nice as you will expect it to be. The website for applying for UO rooms only has digital renderings of the layout of the rooms, and for good reason - they aren't very new or well equipped. While I have run into many problems that haven't been solved quickly by the helpful staff, I have had a lot of problems - no Ethernet, AC breaking, lights going out - only with about 2 weeks. The rooms are very cheap however which makes up for some of the lack-luster rooms. Biggest issue - No microwave! Review from 6/8/16 on Google
May 2016: Overall the complex is well taken care of. Maintenance answers requests in a timely manner. All entries by property are announced by email at least 48 hours before entry and what reason it is for. The internet works well and the technicians they have for the Airwave internet are super helpful! The property staff is very friendly and helpful. As long as you follow the rules they set forth in your lease there is no serious issues anyone should run into. The price is lower than the surrounding properties, as it is on campus and since it is a campus property it has the added benefit of campus security being very present. Review from 5/18/16 on Google
Nov 2015: I have uploaded images to google reviews along with videos. I'm a freshman, this is the worst living experience ever! I read reviews on google, and I Ignored them. DO NOT IGNORE ME REVIEW!!!!!! IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE!!! Look at my pictures! Check out the Outpost, Tetro, Lux, anything but here!!! I could right a book about how nasty this place is. Take everyone's reviews seriously please! Review from 11/9/15 on Google
Oct 2015: This is the worst living experience I've ever had in my life. The staff thought I was lying when my key wasn't opening my door, and simply refused to replace it. As a result, I was locked out of my apartment multiple times (the longest time being 3 hours) before the key actually worked. I can tolerate the disgusting rooms, cracking paint, bug infestation, lack of hot water or water at all at times, and all of the other flaws this apartment offers its tenants, but I should be able to access an apartment I pay outrageous prices for. If you're considering staying here, think twice. Review from 10/27/15 on Google
Oct 2015: I stayed at Oaks for 15 months. Bathroom was really bad with all the residues when I moved in. It took me several washes to remove those. By the time I was moving out, it was a lot better than how they gave me. After moving out The charged me $40 for bathroom cleaning and $40 for bedroom cleaning and $300 for painting and other charges which left me $300 due after deducting my security deposit. And it wasn't even for my room. I contacted them so many times, and they don't seem to care. Finally, one of them told me that they would give me $150 discount???. Why would I pay anything that wasn't even charged for my room? Now, I really hate these people. Review from 10/14/15 on Google
