Jun 2016: Renters Beware!!!Secured a place and was told that we were good to go, only to find out that they overbooked rooms and have no rooms available. They proceeded to tell me it was my fault. I am sure this isn't their first rodeo. If they can't do this right, I wonder what they can do right. don't waste your time or money. I struggled to give this one a star at all.

May 2016: I have been living at the luxx for almost a year and was leased the 4 bedroom unit in blg. B.
The apartment unit seems too small for me.
The view facing utsa bld. Is nice. At least there are some green trees for now. I have the unit with the larger window unlike the smaller window unit.
Tons of parking as advertised is not the case. I have reserved parking under the canopy but sometimes park on or near the handicap permit area since i have the permit. I forgot to display my permit and my car was towed shortly after because i was cleaning my car and forgot to display it up again.

AS OF 4/26/16 OUR Refrigerator is making funny noise (i think its dying, its really not only our refrigerator i have two other friends that live at luxx and its all like this), Our laundry machine stops filling up water if we close the lid. Our TV and INTERNET has been down since 4/19/16 when hail hit San Antonio.(come on its been a week).. only thing i heard from the management was the "airwave will do something about it".

Nov 2015: The events are super fun and I met my new best friend at one of the mechanical bull riding function that they had a few months ago. I decided to renew my lease because of my CA who helped me after hours and went out of his way to ensure that I got everything I needed when my parents came into town and needed a visitor parking pass.
I enjoy the location and community and feel safe knowing my neighbors.
Review from 11/20/15 on GoogleOct 2015: This place was awful. First of all, on move in day my room wasn't clean what so ever. After requesting that day that my room be cleaned, it took them three weeks to make it up to my room. At that point I had already cleaned it myself. After around four weeks, my shower nearly completely stopped working. I requested that it be fixed, the management office gave me a deadline of four days. After the fifth day I proceeded back down to the office to figure out what was going on. They continued to question what was wrong with my shower (during this time I was forced to use my roommates). It was finally fixed after eight days without a shower.
Review from 10/23/15 on GoogleOct 2015: Pricing- They lease the units for 11.5 months but you pay in 12 month installments. Instead of prorating the first month (August), they charge you the whole month even though the floor plans are presented as a monthly rate. The way the lease is worded (even the lease says the term of the lease, not the monthly payments, is 12 months), I don't think this is legal, and I am happy to explore my legal options if anyone out there wants to contact me about this.

Same terrible customer service, but with more problems. Apartments are small and you can tell they were rushed, but if by some miracle you get one that has no problems then it's bearable. I can call the office and it'll ring then I'll get a "this number does not exist" or "the party you are trying to reach is unable to answer", but if I call from a number they don't have, then they pick up after a few rings.

Jun 2015: Beware of all of the positive reviews. The Luxx may have been an acceptable place to live during its inaugural first couple of months, but since then it has turned into an absolute trash pile. The buildings themselves are very cheaply made. It's obvious after seeing the cracks in the wall, slanting floors, and even missing amenities that this was a "get rich quick" development. The management is another major issue with this complex. Although they are friendly, the admins are extremely inept at what they do, and seem to be more focused on getting as many people to sign up rather than actually taking care of the people currently living there. The trash pickup system is horrible, and trash can be seen strewn around the complex on a daily basis. Going back to structural issues, there is a major ventilation problem.
