May 2016: The only people who would ever give this place a positive review are the owners or someone who works here. The internet doesn't work, the power goes out pretty frequently, the outside areas are unkempt, the weight room is only usable if you want to do cardio (defeats the purpose of "weights"), the list just goes on and on. Do yourself a favor and don't even visit this place on your apartment search.

Apr 2016: Let me start by saying, I'm a very lenient person, and I think I have been a little too lenient with my living situation here at High View Place.I wish I could say I loved my experience here, but this has to be the worst place I've lived at since I moved to San Antonio. Nothing good has came with living here.
Pros: By Campus, affordable, spacious, and private. The furniture and rooms have been kept up with for the most part.
Cons: So, I had no idea I was moving into what campus students called "a ghetto," until I lived here for a few months. My car was broken into the first semester, and keyed the second semester. My room mate drives a truck too big for the small parking spaces by our apartment, and has to park in visitor. Her car was broken into and vandalized.

Nov 2015: My experience at here has been rad! I was able to focus on my studies and have fun with friends. I thought this place was overall balanced and chill. Best choice I've made in choosing an apartment to live it!

It is definitely going to be sad when I graduate because the staff is so nice and friendly! I have seen some major improvements over the years and I can't wait for this years Glow Fest!

Jul 2015: Never ever , EVER sign a lease here, the management is horrible they lied and keep giving me run around about everything. They make sure to take your money in anyway they can don't even consider this place unless you want to be screwed over and miserable at an apartment that's not even worth what it costs AT ALL.

Mar 2015: Moved in last year and it has been drama ever since. The apartment was disgusting and had to be re-cleaned upon my arrival and there was a massive hole in the wall of my room. I moved buildings and I got a new room and it wasn't any better. Massive tears in the carpet and holes in the walls in my bathroom. I filled out a maintenance requests and they came and fixed half of it and never returned to finish the rest.

Feb 2015: I've lived at High View for 2 years and I like my stay here. My experiences here haven't been bad. The area is nice. Chase Hill Blvd. is a quiet street, and there are hardly any rowdiness going on at the apartments. Rent is cheap, and EACH BEDROOM HAS IT'S OWN BATHROOM (YAY!). There are fun events (like grocery bingo, dessert bars, chicken and waffle days) that take place almost every week. A lot of people on reviews say that the staff is mean and et cetra, but for me the staff and maintenance have always been friendly. They have shuttles that go to UTSA, but if your feeling frisky one day its also walking distance (though i wouldn't recommend walking back UP this hill). My only complaints are the small parking places and the somewhat thin walls.
