Apr 2016: Your experience at Monticello will heavily depend on your roommates. Monticello does not often provide the roommate matching service they offer as they are often at capacity. The walls within the apartment are very thin as well. Maintenance is usually prompt when fixing most issues. Neighbors can be quite loud considering it is student living and, based on my experience living there, management does not take noise complaints very seriously. Management is also very unprofessional. Also, Monticello does not clean your apartment before move-in and does not heavily enforce cleanliness. They are also increasing rent. Feb 2016: Horrible place to live! Full of roaches and spiders (I got bit and they didn't do anything until my eye got bit and swollen shut) Horribly thin walls, rude and unprofessional office staff, and loud neighbors. They have a policy of loud noise to 1am so if you like sleep don't live here!!! And the frat houses that are here are super disrespectful and rude. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Aug 2015: During the year that I lived there I always had issues with Bugs.I have never had problems with bugs in florida before, however in this complex I had Tons. I think that it was nice of management to throw "mixers" and such at the pool, but honestly it just seemed like a good reason for them and their friends to get drunk and hangout. I think that they could be spending that money in much better ways (ex) improving the quality of the apartments. Review from 8/31/15 on Apartment Ratings
Jun 2015: some questions to ask from me you stupid at this disgusting apartment complex. Do you like to live in a rodent roach infested infested cockroach infested bed bug infested rude staff rude next door to you roommates violent roommate terminus from the office staff Property Manager Assistant Property Manager leasing agents unfriendly not smiling at you when you go to the office entire staff unlawfully unjustly unfairly convicting you then go to Monticello Gardens Apartments. In less than four and a half to five months you will be evicted for something that you say under Social Media. Review from 6/1/2015 on Apartment Ratings

Jan 2015: Right off the bat, I live on the side opposite side from the leasing office and pool. making it a much quieter spot. In the two years I've lived here, I've had few problems. Maintenance has always been quick to fix an issue when we put in a work order, nothing catastrophic has failed or happened to me here. Despite a few robberies in the neighboring apartment complexes, I have never felt unsafe in Monticello. The parking lot lights are often shut off, making the lot WAY too dark at night, and sometimes the "hall" lights go out too. Sometimes (especially when school is out of session) the main gates will remain open all night, and no security guards will be present. Front office often holds events with free food. Major cons are more or less the usual for apartments: Not enough parking, noisy teenage neighbors, etc. Review from 1/11/2015 on Apartment Ratings
