Mar 2017: Wow, wish I would have seen the reviews for this place before my girlfriend moved in. The units are old, overpriced and in need of serious sewer drain replacment the toilet in my girlfriends master bath overflowed feces, urine, and toilet paper when the upstairs neighbors flushed thier toilet. Both tubs where backed up since the first day, dishwasher overflows to the floor kitchen sink overflows her upstairs neighbors food particals and washing machine spews out water Smdh, the management at this place is completely unprofessional. Pools are open when they feel like it. Complete disappointment. Does not deserve a star.

I don't wanna say too much about this horrible place, because it is a long story and very bad experience with this place. Just save your time, money and effort. STAY AWAY from this place. They take your $250 (ridiculously high) application fee and give you a big zero at the end. The manager is so rude and very unprofessional. No professional ethics at all. they try they best to make problems for you.You can find much better places to live around USF.

If you are an international student, I highly suggest do not consider this for the sake of good mood. XXXX is extremely unfriendly and I can call rude. When you move out, she will deduct a huge part of your deposit, and squeeze every buck from you is she could. When you approach her politely to discuss something, she will yell at you. The worst experience, ever. Unforgettable horrible person!

I don't worry about work orders not being done because they are done! I have referred friends in the past few months for their upcoming moves! Here's to hoping they move-in and love it as much as I do!
Review from 11/1/16 on Apartment RatingsMay 2016: Lived here for about 3 months now. Maintenance has come out the same or following day for requests (broken heating element on stove, water on wash machine was not turned on (it was a new install), new fridge seal, repainted molding that the flooring people messed up. We are not in a newly remodeled home, but the "classic" style. We had one roach that was dead when we found him (last week) and no bugs other than that. Only property complaints are the cabinets and windows. Windows are super thin and not well insulated; the kitchen screen lets small gnats in and opens crooked.

May 2016: If I could give no stars that would be my option. This place is unprofessional they charge $150.00 for an application fee and didn't give me a response until 2 weeks after. And when I'll call there office the lady would say "I'm sorry I didn't give your information to my manager" will give you a call back , never recieved a call back. they list on there paper what you need to qualify to be there I had all those requires and I got a letter in the mail from them saying I wasn't accepted and never got a reason why. There horrible and need better customer service not just wasted my money but also my time.

This is also your place if you're willing to encounter with rude maintenance that constantly say they're busy & not willing to help (even after they're "busy"). This is also your place if you're willing to deal with rude ladies at the leasing office whom claims to say they're "busy" or "in a meeting" every time you try to get ahold of one. Even tried to go in the leasing office and got the door shut in my face by Christa, the property manger.
Review from 4/14/16 on GoogleOct 2015: I have moved here even after reading the reviews. Am very happy I did. The management staff is awesome. They listen to your concerns and give honest answers. When I signed my lease everything was explained to me. So I do not understand some of the comments. The neighbors I have met are very nice. It is quite here and peaceful. Most important to me is that I feel safe. As far as maintenance goes, well they are always on the grounds taking care of things. When I needed them they addressed the problem I was having and fixed it. From the management team and maintenance team when they see you they are always nice, wave and talk to you.

Jul 2015: I have stayed in this apartment for 1 yr first and now for last 5 yrs. This is the best, cheapest, and nicest place around USF. The living room, and bedroom are really big. This place has free car wash, vacuum cleaning, and tire pressure check. The best part is the staffs working here. The manager, Christa is the best. She will not differentiate based on race, color, or ethnicity. Everyone there will always welcome you with a smiling face. They are also considerate if have a situation. The new city we are moving, my wife kept saying, we got to find a place like Fairway Oaks. I am going to miss this place and the wonderful staffs here. Highly recommended.

May 2015: I lived here while going to USF for the price and the convenience. The apartments are old and there was a huge mold problem in my apartment causing me to vacate my apartments a month or two before my lease was up. The lady in the office everyone is talking about is as terrible as she sounds. So unpleasant and just not easy to work with. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for an apartment. Do not live here.
Review from 5/29/2015 on Apartment RatingsApr 2015: When I was apartment hunting I looked at the reviews and was afraid to visit here because of the negative comments about the manager, but the 2 bedroom unit was the same cost as a 1 bedroom where I am moving from. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see the former apartment manager from Preserve at Deer Park. When she was there things were awesome!!!!! Grounds were clean, service requests were speedy. Most of the reason I stayed so long was because of her. Granted, this property is older, but the property is well kept and in fantastic shape!
