May 2017: I've had a very pleasant time living here for the past 1 1/2 years. It's quiet for the location in town, my one-bedroom is larger that other one-bedrooms I've lived in that cost way more in rent, they have a fair pet policy, and just about anywhere you'd want to shop is within a block or so. Grounds look really nice, I like the little stone bench garden by the entrance.

May 2017: The price is very cheap but do not waste your time on them. Tried to put in my app and ask questions for over a month. They never answered the phone and when I would drive the 30 min to the office they would have the time clock sign on their door so they didn't have to talk to anyone. Complete waste of my time. They are all very rude and unhelpful. I put in an app and they didn't contact me for a week so eventually I emailed them.

May 2017: This is the most unprofessional apartment complex I have ever dealt with. Terrible management. They never answer the phone or respond to emails. They've denied clients without reason. Very rude and unhelpful. I promise you will not want to live here. They have no care for their residents. Not welcoming at all.

The individuals calling these guys incompetent....are too incompetent themselves to recognize that the infrastructure is almost 40 yrs old and is going to need to be tended too every now and then. The high quality heavy (and I mean HEAVY) duty lock on my door needed to be re-mounted and within 10 minutes of placing a call to the service guys I had a freshly mounted lock on my door. You really can NOT beat the value of this apartment complex.

I like the fact that it's within a few blocks of just about anywhere I'd want to eat or shop, and it's fairly quiet for the location. The grounds are very well-kept, and a few years ago they added a pretty flower garden area by the office with stone benches and a lighted fountain. The folks in the office have always been helpful and friendly to me, and the maintenance guys have always been quick to respond whenever I've had a problem in the apartment. They even jumped my car for me once when I accidentally left my lights on all night.

Mar 2016: I enjoy living at Colonial Parke Apartments. The maintenance staff is very thorough and courteous and the office staff always greets me with a smile (candy and cookies too)! I think its a great price for such a large 1 bedroom apartment.

Mar 2016: Do not apply for this apartment. Everytime I went in the office it was close. I would call and no one answered. It took me 3 weeks to get ahold of someone. Then when I went in the lady that help me was useless. She did not throughly explain the application process. I wouldn't rent from them just because I'm not even a tenant yet and the staff are not helpful at all. Clearly the staff doesn't know what they're doing. They don't want to work and I don't have time to waste. There are tons of apartments in Wilmington.

Most of the time the front office is locked and nobody is available because they are out of office or showing apartments, so they are not much help if you are already a resident. The maintenance emergency line does not answer phone calls, luckily I know some basic plumbing because the water line to the toilet busted and flooded the bathroom, I cut off the water and ran to the office but nobody was there, called the emergency maintenance number multiple times but nobody answered and ran to the maintenance shed but nobody was there. Finally a few hours later we got a response from the voicemails.

I had to move because I couldn't breathe in my apartment from the mold. My apartment flooded 6 times from Christmas to July 4th. They wouldn't produce an air quality test when asked and just offered for me to break my lease free of charge (they knew there was mold). One morning I walked out of my front door and there was a man sleeping in the breezeway of the building. Multiple car break ins when I was living there. A building adjacent to mine had heroin dealers living in it and they had all the crack heads hanging around. They had their door kicked in and the police were always there.

Jan 2015: I moved into here last Spring and I've really had like no problems. The rent is super cheap, parking is never an issue, it's really good space for just a one bedroom at an AMAZING price. Seriously, you won't find ANY one bedroom apartments in Wilmington for under $600 unless its a shoebox in a ---- hole location. I feel pretty safe here, and I'm a young lady living by myself. However, the back of the property by the laundry room is a little sketchy at night.
The staff is pretty great. I go and talk to the blond girl at the front desk when I pay my rent and she's always very helpful.
