Dec 2017: Worst apartment complex ever. Maintenance man saw me go into my room & lock the door. While I was showering w/ my bathroom door open he proceeds to unlock my bedroom door & come on in. Mind you, the maintenance request order was for the garbage disposal & a leak in another bathroom. I immediately called the leasing office & they blamed it on the maintenance man's language barrier. I felt completely unsafe & had to take matters in my own hands & call the cops. The leasing office still won't tell me the maintenance man's full name. So unprofessional Review from Google
Dec 2017: This location was perfectly fine when it was part of campus crossing. However, since being bought out it's absolutely ridiculous. The account manager, Kellie, is incredibly incompetent. She asked nearly $500 from me to fix things that were present upon my move in, refused to email me back for nearly a month, when she did reply she was rude & would only consider my concerns when I was rude & aggressive back to her. Now while trying to pay the unnecessary fees after moving over two hours away, she's disabled my online account & made it impossible for me to pay what she demanded of me & when i call she's consistently "in meetings". Do not move to this location, they'll scam you & won't allow you to fight back against it. I rarely give poor reviews, but this business needs to be run by new management. Review from Google
Oct 2017: This place is absolute garbage and I would not recommend it to anyone in any capacity. Look for better options somewhere else. I have friends that live here and I hate visiting them because the experience with the complex is always awful. The whole complex smells like a mix of feces and weed, not to mention there is always plenty of broken glass somewhere to cut yourself on. I'm fairly certain i have seen places that have taken way longer than they should have to clean up. The apartment itself is not any better. My friends were not given the apartment that they were promised, have had off and on issues with getting work requests resolved and their apartment has flooded twice. The second time the workers seemed to care little about getting it fixed in a timely matter. The high speed internet they promise hardly ever works at a reasonable speed Review from Google
Dec 2016: Worst place ever to stay! I would not recommend anyone staying here! They're false advertising. They say they're "Pet friendly" but we couldn't bring any dogs in the apartment complex, nor was they clear about the pet policy. Also, when they have some of the worst staff and do not up to date You about any charges! Worst place ever will be leaving soon! Review from 12/17/16 on Google
Oct 2016: These people are thieves. They steal your money through hidden payments and do not care about you at all. Remember they run a business and all they care about is your money, not you. Also this is not an all inclusive deal. you do pay power, which is divided among your roommates. So that is false advertisement. Just another negative to add to the laundry list of negatives. May 2016: I never lived there so in order not to be subjective i will tell you what i am rating. First of all, they rarely answer the phone during working hours so good luck trying to reach them. I live in Raleigh and i was looking for a sublease over the summer so i can't drive to Greensboro every time i want to talk with them. The sublease i was willing to take from the lease "OWNER" with an agreement was given to somebody else without letting him no and thus destroyed the plans i had with no remorse, now that i only have 5 days to find a place and move it. Apr 2016: I was here from August 2014 until February 2016. The management (Dawn) is terrible. We had a flood in our apartment last year and it took her 6 hours to show up and then after she finally showed up says "I wasn't supposed to be in the office today" well our apartment is flooded and we have no place to sleep but that's ok cause today was your "off" day. And then our apartment was flooded AGAIN! No action was taken to put us in a safer environment at all! On top of all that the turnover rate for new leasing agents is so ridiculous that half of them don't know what they're talking about MOST of the time it's always "Let me double check with Dawn". You put in a work order and it doesn't get tended to until they feel it's convenient. Review from 4/28/16 on Google
Apr 2016: If you are looking for a place to live in Greensboro DO NOT choose Campus Crossing. This place is disgusting, don't let the photos on the website fool you. The apartments have large roaches and other bugs in them. Management could care less. The other staff is not helpful and they don't know what they're talking about most of the time. You call and complain and nothing gets fixed. DO NOT choose this place to live. The equipment in the gym is broken and raggedy, you would think that with all the money they receive each month they would upgrade the equipment or at least get it fixed. Aug 2015: I've lived at the Spring Garden location for about a month now, and my experience has been alright. I'd say the conditions here are livable, but certainly not an apartment experience that's enjoyable. The good: -The rent cost is pretty cheap when compared to other places, and the inclusion of a gym with clubhouse is a nice added bonus. -The location of the spring garden complex is a pro and con, it's a pro in the fact that it's located right on Spring Garden -The clubhouse is actually really nice, it's pretty nice and spacious, and welcoming as well. There's lots to do at the clubhouse, I kind of wished my apartment was closer to the clubhouse. -The gym is nice and large, however I do think a couple things need to be fixed/replaced in the gym, but it's free gym access which is good. Jul 2015: I lived in the Campus Crossing for the 2013/2014 school year and was overall pleased with the apartments. I lived at the Spring Garden apartments which are 3BR/2BA units. I lived in the 'master suite' bedroom which I though was fairly sized, I owned a queen sized bed and quite a lot of stuff and was able to fit it all in by using the closet and storing things under my bed and not feel too crowded. The master bathroom is a bit small, but logically so as only one person is using it (the 2nd bathroom is at least twice as big) and I was able to fit my (once again) fairly large collection of stuff in it by using over the door storage and it only felt slightly cramped. Jun 2015: Overall i guess my experience here was ok. For the GOOD: Maintenance always fixed issues quickly, responds the next day and knocks a couple of times before entering, pet friendly (which is hard to find for a student apartment), includes a patio which is cool, and staff is decent compared to other places I've been. spacious for a 1 bedroom, and good at contacting you if you have a package of the sort. Now, the BAD: when i first moved in august of 2014, i had an infestation of crickets. Review from 6/21/15 on Apartment Ratings
Dec 2014: We are so happy to get in here the staff are very helpful and professional we love that the place is very secure and a quiet neighborhood and the rent is really affordable and great amenities. This is a great place. We plan on staying for a while. We love it here. From 12/19/2014 on Apartment Ratings
Aug 2014: Absolute worst staff I've ever dealt with. The office staff don't seem to communicate with each other at all or know what's going on and the tenants pay for it. The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. Aside from that and the lies they tell you to sign the lease, it's a nice enough apartment complex but it's overpriced. They advertised $50 less and that was supposed to be with utilities included. We called and verified on the phone but it was a different story when we came in and nobody wanted to take responsibility. It was also full of crickets, roaches and spiders. They supposedly have pest control come once a week but we had to do a treatment ourselves before it stopped. Maintenance is prompt but not very thorough. I will not be renewing my lease. Apr 2014: Campus Crossing has been nothing but kind and fair to myself and my roommate. I have lived in their apartments for a year now and just resigned my lease because I am completely satisfied with their services and amenities. Campus Crossing's maintenance is always quick to arrive, every time I've made a request, for example my sink broke, they were their within a day and had it fixed. Their leases and policies are completely fair, just make to sure to review them before you sign them. The amenities are outstanding. The apartment itself is very spacious, and comes with all of the essentials, including a washer and dryer. Overall, I have had a fantastic experience here and as long as your a responsible adult, you will have a great time too. Review from 04/01/14 on Apartment Ratings
Feb 2014: The overall experience I have received living at the Sherwood forest location of Campus Crossing has been satisfactory and I would recommend it to anyone in search of housing. The staff in the office is very friendly and always willing to help assist you with any need or question you might have. The apartments are well designed and have great floor plans. Living in many different student housing complex's, Campus Crossing is the place I feel most at home. On top of the newly renovated rooms they offer many deals to the residents and are constantly offering many incentives to those who currently live there. Not only do they have a huge fitness center with great hours but also offer free workout classes to residents. The Campus Crossing pool is where every college student wants to be in the summer with live music and free food. Review 02/15/14 on Apartment Ratings
