Hi, Loading...

Oct 2019: I've been paying a furniture fee for the past 3 rent installments yet I have no furniture in my living room or kitchen, and a broken desk drawer. I call the leasing office and nobody picks up, I go to the office and they tell me "it's on the way" yet it's been 3 months?? They should've had my furniture ready before it was time for me to move in. Review from Google
Sep 2019: The staff is great and the rooms are what I expected. Clean and not too big. perfect for a college student! Review from Google
Sep 2019: Enjoyed my stay here. Within walking distance to my campus, helpful staff as well. would recommend! Review from Google
Sep 2019: I had a wonderful experience here. Management is very polite and helpful. Alexis was professional and helped me when needed 👍🏾 Review from Google
Aug 2019: Great for affordable living. Pretty much what I expected for student quarters. Just enough space to be comfortable but not too small. Clean for the most part. I had some issues at move in but they fixed it very quickly. Review from Google
Jul 2019: If you're thinking about staying here, please don't. The price looks good and the tour looks good, but once you see your actual unit (ON MOVE-IN DAY), you're going to be wondering if it's the same place it was when you toured. Nothing looks the same. I can honestly say this was the worst experience overall I've had with student apartments based on move-in day alone. Not only did we have to wait on our keys to be made all day, but once they were finally made, none of the apartment had been cleaned since the last people moved out. This first day ruined my whole experience staying here along with multiple things not working properly while staying here. I just want to help save your time and money before committing to this dump. Review from Google
May 2019: This is long, but very necessary to read, especially if you have pets. While my roommates and I were at work, maintenance came into our apartment on two separate occasions with no notice and not even with the knowledge of the leasing agent, and allowed two of our animals to disappear. We literally came home to find them missing, with no explanation. First was the cat, which we still have yet to find or hear about, then was my dog. Ironically enough, while I was at work they miraculously found him and returned him. Everyone that I came in contact with that day, the two maintenance workers, and the leasing agent, were so incredibly rude and disrespectful. With the agent's only response being to highlight the pet addendum where it says to keep my dog in a cage while I'm out of the apartment and the maintenance worker literally yelling at me in front of the police, telling me I have no right to question him because it wasn't his fault Review from Google
Apr 2019: Do not live here! We literally have to call maintenance once a week because something has stopped working. Recently we’ve been without any hot water in our apartment for 3 days and it’s still ongoing. Which means that for the past 3 days our showers and everything else dealing with water have been ice cold! Also we currently don’t have A\C and it’s 85 degrees outside and it’s been like that for a week. We’ve called maintenance multiple times and every time they come nothing gets fixed. The WiFi is also garbage. If you know what’s best you probably should stay somewhere else. Review from Google

Jan 2019: Very unprofessional. Nothing was ready upon move in day. Office staff is unreliable. Wouldn’t renew my lease. Review from Google
Jan 2019: As a concern parent of a college student. I would be advised not to rent from here. It took about 3-4 hours to sign paperwork, find an apartment that was ready to move-in. After expressing concerns the VERY yound lady( she was VERY nice) assured us that things would be fixed. After 5 months NOTHING! My son haa NEVER had to deal with roaches before and on 2 occasions had to deal with them at Student Quarters. Oh let's not talk about the rent and how he got screwed over because the website was having technical difficulties. I will be so glad when he's lease is up and he can get out of there!!!! I really hope someone from CORPORATE OFFICE looks at all the reviews and interviews past and present tenants and come and take a personal look at the apartments. PLEASE!!!!!!!!! And Thank YOU!!!!!!!!! Review from Google
Jan 2019: People having parties can be loud and roommates that go over the electricity cap make all the roommates pay extra, not just that person. Review from Google
Sep 2018: HORRIBLE. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. I WAS AFRAID TO GO HOME. GUN SHOTS WERE FIRED in the 2115 Building and management was not helpful and condescentding about it. My neigboors had parties until 4AM 4-5 nights a week and had the type of guest over who would blast music from their cars in the parking lot right outside my window, have fights, and shoot guns into the air for fun. I was told i would have to pay a large fee to move even though I was AFRAID FOR MY SAFETY and didn't have the basic HUMAN RIGHT TO SLEEP becuase of the loud parties. HIDDEN FEES. They charge a "service fee" of $3.95 to just pay for you electric bill. Which is a small amount but adds up to $50 extra a year. I was also charged $55 for "administrative fees" even though my contract says renewals are no required to pay fees twice. ASENINE. They will milk you for your money and mor Review from Google
Aug 2018: THEY ARE THIEVES!!!. I WOULD NOT HAVE GIVEN THEM NOT one star BUT I HAD TO IN ORDER TO POST MY REVIEW . THEY PLAY GAMES AND GIVE YOU FAKE INFORMATION WHEN YOU WANT CORPORATE NUMBERS OR EMAIL. THE ONLY WAY TO HANDLE THIS COMPANY IS TAKE THEM TO COURT ASAP. I URGE YOU NOT TO MOVE HERE. MANAGEMENT THEY GIVE BOGUS EXCUSES NOT TO SPEAK TO YOU WHEN YOU CALL AND ASK FOR THEM BY NAME ESPECIALLY MR. TERRY. HE'S THE WORST!!!! THEY HAVE KIDS WORKING HERE AND THEY HAVE no idea HOW TO OPERATE AN OFFICE. IF ANYONE HAS THE REAL INFORMATION HOW TO CONTACT THE OWNER OF THIS STUDENT QUARTERS FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME ASAP. Review from Google
May 2018: Absolutely terrible, don’t move here at all. Poor customer service, they promised things and features/amenities that they didn’t have and charged me an extra grand.. you couldn’t pay me to live here again Review from Google
Oct 2017: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This place will try it's best to suck the money out of you. Ever since management changed all of my friends and I have horror stories of the negligence of the staff. When we want something which came broken fixed it's treated with snark and passive aggressiveness. The manager of the location is the worst, and they will do everything in your power to trap you there. The only way I got out is by sending a letter of how I was treated to the management in Atlanta Georgia. It's like Hotel California, but at least that place sounded nice. Student Quarters Spring Garden has tried its best to drain me of my money, and my friends and I will never return to this place ever again. Review from Google
Sep 2017: The staff can be really condescending and passive-aggressive. They literally don't care about what happens to their residents and they don't follow their part of the contract at all. For instance, their contract says to give a 48 HOUR notice before throwing a new resident in there and to give contact information about the resident. They gave me a 48 SECOND notice and threw in a complete stranger...and all they did was shrug and say that it wasn't their fault. Then when that flat mate physically attacked me for knocking on her door to get her attention, they did nothing except tell me to pay the transfer fee. They are all about making quick money and they don't really care about their residents. Also, the room is quite small...so you would do better in a different student housing overall. Review from Google
Aug 2017: My daughter moved in three weeks ago, place was filthy,I went to office told them it needed to be cleaned before she moved in,they came in and cleaned, but it's a lot of things wrong with this place, daughter still has no tv,but she will have one by the end of the week,I'm about to get real ugly, they never return your call, but I have the cell # of one of the staff believe it will be ringing back to back until things get done!
Aug 2017: Do not move here. I had the worst FIRST apartment. Yes it's cheap and convenient but the place is TRASH. From the beginning management was horrible. My best friend and I requested the same unit and same bathroom for the 4x4 we didn't get the request. I had to share a bathroom with 2 other people (a couple). It wasn't THAT bad but it wasn't what I had requested. Secondly, my apartment had mildew in each window In the unit. I sent a email to the management all they had to say was wipe it off. It isn't my job to wipe of mildew, they never did so until Greensboro coalition came. Third, our apartment flooded in 2117 F all they did was suck the water out the carpet and place dehumidifier in the apartment. 1-2 days later the apartment started smelling like mold. We've called the office a million times to figure out what we should do next. Eventually Review from Google
Aug 2017: DO NOT MOVE HERE! January 20, 2017 our water heater had busted over night and flooded the entire apartment. All they did was suck the water up and put dehumidifiers in the hallway. The carpet was never cleaned and never was completely dried. Due to that mold quickly started to grow EVERYWHERE. They expected us to stay in this moldy apartment. There was no sense of urgency to move us to another unit until the Housing Coalition got involved. The man from the Health Department told us if any of us had asthma we would have been in the hospital due to all of the mold. We did not get moved from that until February 10th & still had to pay rent for that month. don't make the same mistake I did of ignoring all of the bad reviews! Review from Google
Jul 2017: Please stay away from these apartments! It has been an absolute nightmare living here. I moved into these apartments in August 2016 and the very first day we noticed mold EVERYWHERE. We told the office and they did absolutely nothing about it. We waited and waited and eventually we had to get a lawyer because the living conditions grew worse and the office was neglecting us. Two of my roommates were hospitalized from inhaling so much mold. It took them two months and a lawyer for them to finally move us into a new apartment. We were grateful for it until we noticed the stove, water heater, windows, dryer, and washer were all broke, AND more mold. We moved into the apartment in October and did not get a TV until April (the TV is included in rent that WE pay). Also, I had a package delivered in December. I did not get it until two months later b Review from Google
May 2017: If you're planning to move to greensboro and you're looking for student housing, STAY FAR AWAY from Student Quarters. Literally the worst place I have ever stayed. I wouldn't even give them one star. First of all, we moved in early August, and It took them until April to give us a TV that's "provided with your apartment". Second of all, we've had such bad mold, that we've had to go to the doctor to get checked out because of. we asked several times for a solution to our mode problem, and they acted like it wasn't a big deal. We finally started a lawsuit with them, and they switched us to a new apartment. Review from 5/3/17 on Google
Mar 2017: XXXX in the front office is very helpful, kind, and get things done in a timely manner. He has helped me and other residents to solve problems/work orders. He makes the environment very positive along with other staff members! Review from 3/14/17 on Google
Feb 2017: Please do not waste your time with this place or these people. They have given me nothing but trouble since I took the tour. The woman who showed my roommate and I the apartment lied to us about room sizes saying that they were all the same but room 1 is about half the size of the other two bedrooms. We still can't get my log in information to work. When I signed the lease they immediately lost it along with my mother's social security number. They changed the move in date and never told me. When I did move in they gave me the key to my roommate's room and she had moved in already. After that was sorted and I go to the apartment my room was filthy. Review from 2/13/17 on Google
Oct 2016: DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! The apartment is dirty the second you move in and the staff is almost entirely unresponsive or incompetent. Most appliances are broken, and will not be fixed regardless of how many times you ask. If you request a work order, good luck having anything fixed within a month. They will also try and take every cent of your security deposit. It is absolutely disgraceful how they treat residents. Oh and if you have an emergency and call the main office, you have to leave a message and pray they will actually call you back. It is possibly criminal how they do things at this place, and I would recommend living anywhere instead. DO NOT LIVE HERE! Review from 10/23/16 on Google
Oct 2016: Worst place in the town, I would rather be homeless than living in a place like this. Due to a plumbing issue they had last year the all kinds of dirt (including feces) came out of the toilet and the shower. They never cleaned the stains off the bathroom even though I requested and I had to drive to one of my friend's to use the bath room everyday. It's the worst management in the world they have. They took 190$ off my security deposit for the damages caused by the cats of one of my roommates. They only put it on two of us since the other two moved out early even though the damages were there when they moved out. Review from 10/2/16 on Google
