Aug 2019: My daughter and I lived there over a year and were happy with the staff and services, although we thought price was a bit high given the dated condition of the apartments. Our carpet was in poor shape and should have been replaced before we moved it. My main complaint is that water bill is paid through Utility Billing Services. There were several issues with the initial billing when I was charged excessive amounts because the meter was not functioning correctly. And when I moved out, I also was charged for over a week after my lease ended, so that my refund was computed incorrectly. I was disappointed that the staff did not help me recover the overpayment, although they had assured me that they would. Not much money, but it was an unfortunate occurrence after what had been a good experience. Review from Google
Jul 2019: Second year staying with them after leaving and coming back to Greensboro. Wonderful staff in office. Convenient to many shopping centers. Easy access to highway. Quiet complex. Maintained and kept clean. Maintenance quick on the call unlike most complex reviews. Pool is open year round until 10pm. However, I am taking two stars away due to couple of problems. At the start of my lease, they had on-site laundry that I was using. After 6 months, the leasing office decided to have a massive construction for amenities. During the process, we lost access to fitness club (they offered alternative $10 membership to a gym) and on-site laundry (they never offered alternatives like option to lease washer/dryer). My upstairs neighbor is not loud. However, I can hear their footsteps all the time. It is a gated community, but often the gates remain open due to malfunctioning problem. So treat it as non-gated community. Your packages will be delivered to the office. Most of the time, it is secure and they require you to sign for each package. Nov 2016: It's Clean, Well Kept, the office people are quite friendly, and the maintenance people are on top of things in a way I have never before had the luxury of enjoying anywhere I have ever lived (or even seen) before. It's Beautiful, Feels Safe, the other residents are positive, engaging, and just enjoyable all around. Review from GoogleAug 2016: I love these apartments! It has almost been a year living in these apartments and everyone here is very friendly. I always see people walking their dogs outside and I like saying hello to everyone. The staff here is very friendly, helpful and prompt. Everything is at your disposal. You have a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a basketball/tennis court and I take full advantage of these. Another good thing about this complex is that you have restaurants and shops within walking distance. I highly recommend this apartment complex!

The staff, both in the office and the maintenance crew, are friendly, professional and always helpful. The property is well maintained despite the need for some upgrading that just comes with time. It is a quiet neighborhood even though this area has grown a lot with new restaurants and businesses. I rarely hear the traffic even though I live near the front of the complex. The apartments are quiet and I rarely hear my neighbors. It's also nice that there is little staff turnover which says something about the company!

The staff is extremely friendly and deal with my concerns in a manner that's professional and efficient. The maintenance staff is very professional, and takes care of things within a few hours. In general, the community is what makes this complex so wonderful! I am a very outgoing individual, and I've gotten to know many of the residents, which is really special to me. People certainly make a difference! This complex definitely deserves 5 stars!

We are a couple that enjoys the finer things in life and after shopping around extensively Crowne Gardens offered the best amenities and classiest look for the money. The grounds are beautifully kept and the whole place is upscale. We leased one of the upgraded apartments and the crown molding combined with the high ceilings really gives it that "house" feel. There is nothing cheap feeling about this place, kitchen is gorgeous and the bathrooms are upscale and the staff is excellent. Our Crowne contact, Val, has been very helpful with all our questions.

Oct 2014: Intro. My roommate and I had lived at Crowne Garden for over 2 years. Never paid our rent late and always stayed too ourselves for the most part. We're are both 30, not some unappreciative college kids. We treated our apartment like it was a place we owned.
When we originally moved in we believed their lie.This whole apartment complex is fraudulent. They promote being a super pet friendly apartment complex but what they don't tell you is whenever you move out regardless of how clean the carpet is they hire a 3rd party to come do a pet test, if there are any signs of urine instead of treating the carpet where the accidents are, they decide to replace the whole thing and leave the previous tenants responsible.

Maintenance people can be nice, but they are not always prompt and are disrespectful at times, and they don't always do a good job. Fixtures are cheap. Floor plans are nice and spacious. Dog pooh is often left on grass and breeze ways are never cleaned up. Otherwise the grounds are quite nice. Rents are high, all things considered.

This apartment has everything that my family needs, it is a great location in Greensboro, and we have very quiet neighbors. There is always ample parking and I feel very safe. I am on the ground floor and never hear the neighbors above or next to my apartment. Feb 2013: We moved to Crowne Gardens because the apartment was the largest 3 bedroom in the area. We have stayed here four years because we have great neighbors and the staff is always ready to promptly resolve any issues that we have. The grounds are well kept and the pool is clean.
