Hello! I recently moved into a two-bedroom apartment at Midtown , and Im looking for someone to fill the second bedroom.
Surrounding area: Midtown is about three miles away from UNC, and seven miles away from Duke. It is less than a mile away from Trader Joes, Whole 🍕 foods, and Chapel Hills D-line 🚍 bus route. The complex is far enough from busy streets that road noise isnt an issue.
Complex: The apartment complex is equipped with a gym and a large 🏊 pool, and it has access to the Bolin Creek Trail. Please see their website for a full list of amenities.
Apartment/Room: The exterior of this apartment complex is well-kept, and the interior is incredibly spacious. This room is located on the second floor of a two-story building, so neighbor noise is minimal. This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment has sq. ft. with a dining room, kitchen, living room, and balcony. The room that Im looking to fill is by with an ensuite bathroom and 🚶 walk-in closet (unfurnished). The listed rent price includes 💡electricity, internet/cable, and water.
I am currently working on furnishing the common areas, but I am happy to include any pieces that you may bring with you.
Hello all! I go by Samantha or Sam! I relocated from Arizona to the Triangle for work (software development) about three years ago.
For a quick introduction, I enjoy fitness, video games, and thrifting, and I ❤️love to have a laugh and talk about life over coffee or among the trees! I do tend to be on the quieter side, but I am plenty talkative when I get to know a person.
Although this would be my first roommate experience, I do tend to think I have some desirable qualities:
I am very respectful of set boundaries. I do automatically assume the following boundaries for everybody:
Any kind of large social gatherings shall be communicated and agreed upon by roommates
Explicit consent is needed to use items which do not belong to me
I am aware of the shared sound space and try to keep noise to a minimum
Others’ personal spaces are off limits
I try to keep spaces reasonably 🎇clean to make others feel welcome
I don’t have any 🐕 pets, but I ❤️love animals (one well-behaved dog is welcome)!
Discrimination is not nice and not lawful. Preferences can be made if you are sharing the same living space, but make sure you check the laws to see what applies to you.
