Jan 2017: Collins Crossing Apartments is a nightmare! They lure you in with false information. Their 'Roommate Matching' skills are a joke. I have even gotten charges & injured legal issues with roommates while living here. They do not follow their policies that are described when you sign your lease. They are constantly entering my apartment for various reasons while I'm not home. The water freezes in my bathroom several times every winter even with the water running & a heater in the bathroom.

Dec 2016: We are a group of students from overseas. The staff were so inefficient in confirming the terms of our contracts that we had to email and urge them over and over again. They mixed up our surnames and first names and did not rectify the mistakes even if we stated them very clearly in our emails and on our passport copies. They also got our email addresses wrong, so some of us never received any notification/reminder email from them. In a particular month we had to pay abnormally high water and sewer bills (over $100 for a 2-bedroom unit) but did not get any explanation for that. The staff were not sure about the actual breakdown and could not provide sufficient information for most of the questions we raised. not recommendED.

Sep 2016: I have been a resident here for a little over a year now and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The leasing office was super helpful from the start and are still super helpful. I have rented for many years and have not felt so at home than I do at Collins Crossing. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone!

Feb 2016: This is the fourth apartment that I have ever lived in, and it is by far the best! The office staff is so friendly, and the pool looks amazing during the summer time. The cost for the area is the best I found, and when it came to the roommate matching program, they did an amazing job! I have absolutely no complaints here. The location is wonderful for free public transportation and the gym membership is great!

Feb 2016: Finding the right apartment can be a very challenging process. I had sooooo much doubt when applying and signing my lease to live here. I moved all the way from Michigan and I really wanted to live somewhere that was convenient, had good quality amenities and features, and most importantly had a staff that treated me with genuine care and respect. I was so scared when I knew that I had to take that leap of faith and decide that I will be signing a year long lease at somewhere I had never even set eyes on before, and because I didn't know what to expect. Collins Crossing is the best apartment complex I have ever lived at.

I love the fact that my apartment was newly-renovated, which means that I haven't had to deal with broken appliances or a lot of random repair work like I did in my previous apartment community. The one or two times I have had to call a maintenance technician, my problems were resolved quickly--those guys are always smiling! Honestly, I couldn't imagine living in another apartment community. I'm within walking distance of downtown Carrboro, and I'm just a quick bike or bus ride from the UNC campus.

Maintenance is fantastic, they are always so quick to respond and are actually nice to deal with. I always feel welcomed when I come into the office and they all remember me and my dog. The manager even remembered that I had mentioned my dog was sick over a month ago and asked me about her when I was in the other day. It's that attention and personal connection that makes living here the best. I highly recommend it!

Oct 2014: I have been very happy since I've moved in. the entire staff has been very friendly and attentive. I love having a free gym membership instead of those small community gyms with bad equipment. Over all the place is quiet and peaceful and i love having all the grass space to walk my dogs. I've lived in many places all over the country and this has been one of my favorites.
