Hi, Loading...

Apr 2018: Hands down worst place to live. I have been here since September and have had nothing but horrible experiences and have had no help whatsoever from the leasing company. To start the year off my two 19 year old roommates and I were randomly placed by the office with a roommate that was 17 years older than us even though we had been given a speech about how they will only place people with others that will be a good match. For 3 months everyone in our apartment begged the leasing office for a change because clearly that would not be a good situation. We were told time after time "it is against their policy" to help us and that there "was absolutely nothing that could be done except to attempt to sublease" which is also impossible (we have been posting our rooms on craigslist and UMN's Facebook pages for weeks now). The service in the office is h Review from Google
Mar 2018: I would not recommend this place. The staff are too lazy to clean the stairs which are always dirty, and stairways are smelly. Go look how the trash areas are like, you will know whether to live here or not. Extremely poor management! Review from Google
Mar 2018: I have been living here for more than 6 months now. I did not face a single problem so far. The staff is extreme;y helpful with any request you have. Apartments have lot of facilities including the gym, computer lab and printers. I am really happy with the service provided by the staff. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I was told my 2 year old would have to sign her own lease and I would have to pay extra months rent for her room. Review from Google
Jan 2018: Edited review after living here for few months: It is OK. There are similar alternate/better options in the neighborhood. The unit I got had been kept clean by earlier roommates, so I was lucky. But I have seen some other dirty units. I like that they accept packages on behalf of residents and email us. Some of the office staff are nice but some are rude. But prices at Pavilion have soared since a new management took over. WiFi is ALWAYS down here which is very inconvenient!! Parking prices are high, especially since they don't have underground parking nor do they assign spots. They never plow the snow from the driveways and walkways on time. The garbage bins are always overflowing and are not emptied everyday. Some of the amenities that they advertise are out of order most of the time. Overall, even though I find it to be a nice place for stu Review from Google
Jan 2018: The services here are extremely bad. Some staffs are rude and unhelpful. They don’t treat people with respect and they are not willing to help people at all if not necessary. It used to be much better but now those staffs are becoming more and more unprofessional and inpatient. Rates are increasing every year while no improvement has been made in this aging apartment. A small problem in an elevator( the close door button doesn’t work) has not been fixed for almost two years. AVOID LIVING HERE! Review from Google
Jan 2018: *I WISH I COULD GIVE IT zero starS* so my friends moved here in desperation and they are moving out because this place is dirty.. straight up. do not move here. no matter what you do. THEY REFUSE TO TAKE THE DUMPSTERS OUT FOR TWO WEEKS. garbage floats around the parking lot and into peoples door wells. they’re just scamming everyone, including my friends. if they play their music on their tv “too loud”, they get a FINE. however, this fine INCREASES each time they receive one. they got partnered with a random roommate EVEN THOUGH they had a friend set up to live with them. keep in mind, my friends are 19, and their roommate is like 40. just kinda weird like everyone has alternate interests for the very small space, ya know? the friend realized the place was corrupt, so she did not come even move in (so smart of her). please, please, PLEA Review from Google
Oct 2017: Just moved to PB this September. Affordable housing near campus and good location from the green line. The apartments themselves are very nice and I have my own space. Staff are on top of things and very polite and helpful if you need anything. Review from 10/8/17 on Google

Oct 2017: It's really convenient, just few minutes away from U of M campus taking the green line. The apartment is nice, with almost everything you need. And of course, friendly and professional staff. Review from 10/5/17 on Google
Sep 2017: Most of the 4 and 5 star ratings are from people that work in the leasing office.. So many problems with this place and it all stems from poorly run management. Living here from 2015-2016 I had a lot of issues with my roommates and the leasing office did barely anything to help. The leasing office manager did absolutely nothing when I came to her with a serious issue regarding my roommates, where as at the other apartment I had lived at before they would've evicted them immediately. She was also not personable or friendly at all. So unprofessional and I am extremely unimpressed. Review from 9/17/17 on Google
Sep 2017: I ignored all the bad comments when I chose to live here and now I am one of those people who hate the Pavilion! The staff was nice for the most part and they do try to help. However, their move-out charges are RIDICULOUS. My room looks the same as when I moved in and I still got charged $100 when I moved out. They charge you for anything and everything!! The somewhat cheap rent is not worth the distance at all. Review from 9/13/17 on Google
Sep 2017: DO NOT LIVE HERE! Scam On Berry should be their name. They will charge you for EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING when you move out. If you move here please make sure to report EVERYTHING on your statement of unit condition form. Even the littlest things, report them all!!!! They like to make up their own charge amounts for things. I was charged $75 for some marks on my walls. Some of the marks were reported on my unit condition form and BOOM I was still charged for it when i moved out. This is unfair and this place will soon face Karma for charging unnecessary fees to people. Review from 9/10/17 on Google
Sep 2017: At first, I thought that this place would be a great place to live during the school year. As the school year went on, I realized that I was wrong. The rent is over priced for its location, the office is terrible with notifying you about packages and dealing with roommate situations and the move out charges are outrageous! I was lucky enough to sign my lease when I did and it brought me down to only paying $550/month compared to $620 being over a mile off campus and in St. Paul. The office rarely notified me when I had a package and most times I would have to go downstairs myself weeks after my package arrived to ask if I had a package. Review from 9/3/17 on Google
Aug 2017: don't live here. I wish I could put zero stars. Common areas like hallways, stairwells, and elevators are never cleaned and they are disgusting. When I moved in, I had to clean my room for almost 4 hours before I started to unpack because it hadn't been cleaned and there was dirt, food, garbage, etc. all over the room. Plus there was dust on the ceiling so thick that it was black and I had to sweep/vacuum it all. They don't actually fill the hot tub that they include as one of their "perks" to living here. The leasing manager has been rude and unpleasant to deal with during the few interactions I've had with her. Parking in an uncovered lot is an extra $80 per month which nobody warned me about. I could go on and on about the things I don't like about this place. Review from 8/9/17 on Google
Aug 2017: I have lived at the Pavilion for a year now, and enjoyed it. It allowed me to have affordable housing near campus while still having my own space. The apartments themselves are very nice and in a good location from the green line. If you are polite to the staff and on top of everything you shouldn't have a problem from them. Negative experiences might happen if you don't talk with the staff about the expenses from renting a place. I'm giving four stars simply because the hot tub was advertised as a perk, and it was running for maybe two or three months out of the year. Review from 8/4/17 on Google
