Oct 2019: the cheapest place in the town. but this place is unsafe, full of bugs( I saw roaches, dead rats) ceiling is constantly leaking. the maintenance team never shows up. if you read this review you are so lucky. spend more money and find other place. get away from this apartment. Sep 2018: I have been a resident at Velo for over 2 years now and my experience has been nothing less than great. Located in the happening North loop neighborhood of downtown Minneapolis, Velo offers some of the best in class experiences for it's residents - from in-apartment amenities to a state of the art fitness center, club house, outdoor grills, sundeck and heated parking. Jun 2017: Okay, okay, so I really mean 4 1/2 stars but Google hasn't given us the partial star option yet so let's just assume that these guys are making an effort and round them up to a solid 5 star status.
Building - Solid construction. Before moving in I had a chance to tour 7 units (yes, I really am that type A on where I live). Velo has several different layouts and the bicycle theme that the building was originally using was just quirky enough to strike my fancy. Personally, I selected my unit on outdoor space, what I wanted to look out onto, and layout. Friends all say I made the right choice. All of the units have an outdoor patio but they vary in size significantly. Be sure to check out the specific unit outdoor space. As to the solid construction, I rarely hear my neighbors. Dec 2015: I've had a great experience so far living at Velo. The location is amazing and the amenities are great as well. The team has shown that they are invested in making it not only a place to live but a community as well. They have been really responsive with any questions or concerns that I have had and overall have been a pleasure to interact with. I would definitely recommend this complex for someone looking for a great place in the North Loop. Review from Google
