Oct 2019: My laundry was STOLEN by someone. Of course the security camera in the laundry room doesn’t even work. Do NOT get an apartment here. It’s not worth the cheaper rent. I’m disgusted and I don’t feel safe here. The staff are also very ‘not in the know’ about this or they just don’t care? UV should be ashamed. Also, the roach situation is true.

Jun 2019: OH MY GOD!!!! I have been fooled i have been here for 2 years and its like being in hell you can't get nothing fixed, the pipes keep bursting, the main hallways are nasty and stinks, there is dog poo everywhere, the ac in the front room is no good, the maintenance men are lazy except one Isaiah, the ladies in the front office are lazy they to busy trying to flirt with the maintenance men and I'm putting it nicely. They keep raising rent but nothing get fixed. The apartments in the 500 building smell mildew and they probably are cause the pipes burst all the time, the plumbing stay stopped up like mines right now are I told them 2 weeks ago and no one has come. I will never recommend anyone to the place. Oh yeah lets talk about parking you can't park next to your apartment even though every building has their own parking lot it's whoever can park Where ever. Jun 2019: Honestly I love the place very accessible to all commercial places etc.i don't want to play a good guy anymore And honestly what I hate in our unit is everytimE it rains it made me uncomfortable because of the previous issue we had before, it floods all through our living room, but yes they fixed it until now it happens again and gets worst because now not just in living room also in our bedroom. We lived on the corner and and lower ground of the building. They sent maintenance to fix it, 3 humidifier were left running in our bedroom for 2 days now. And as I thought it was all okay and itsi not because now in our kitchen where some of our stuff was moved there.... Suddenly a water gushing at the bottom floor take note I'm not using the machine, every time I can hear someone's doing their laundry a water will just come out on the bottom floor where I think it came from the pipes, I already told the maintenance personnel who came here to fix it before, heres my point, why can't they fox it permanently and not just for temporary Review from Google

Just walk through Lexington tower if you don’t believe me. Maintenance is non existent and if someone reports you ac leaking they break in and bust out your wall without even telling you before or AFTER they do so. I don’t go on the patio that much so I only noticed because my lights were left on and the blinds to the patio were open. Not to mention that I called about the ceiling leaking in my bathroom back on the weekend of New Years and it still hasn’t been even looked at. My room was flea and bed bug infested from the moment I stepped in and you don't feel safe at all here. They make it seem like it is a student housing area linked with UGA, but most of the people here are not affiliated to UGA at all. Look for much better places that are half the price of rent here. Dec 2018: This apartment complex is TERRIBLE. You should really avoid at all cost. It is sketchy in that I had people follow me home and multiple packages stolen and the office did nothing about it. In addition, if you have a pet (even if it is for a month in the apartment) expect to be charged to clean the apartment. My dog was not in the apartment for 4 months and I cleaned the carpet before I left and they charged me anyway. They also charged me for blinds ($35) that were not damaged whatsoever. I tried contacting corporate about the charges when I moved out (called them over 7 times and left messages) and they never called me back and then sent the claim to debt collectors so I had no choice to pay without disputing the charges. Trust me I am a graduate student and thought I lived in bad places but this one tops the cake.Nov 2018: I am so tired of the negative reviews this apartment complex gets. My opinion is that the people who have issues probably either do NOT pay their bills or they are expecting too much. From the new cleaning guy to every single maintenance guy and all the way back to each and every office girl and the manager, April are amazing. They aren't just courteous and professional but you can also tell they care and they get it. I moved in back in July and they made the process of moving painless. Have I had issues? Sure!! I have had 8 or so calls for various things out of their control. My bathroom light stopped working because the guy upstairs flooded his bathroom. Boom!! New light fixture. No questions asked. Did not feel safe at all and never left during dark Review from GoogleAug 2018: STAY AWAY. I moved in because I lived out of state and did not realize how bad this place actually is. 1) when I moved in they got the wrong date and gave me an apartment that was dirty and had boxes in the balcony. 2) In addition, the floor was coming up in the bathroom and 3) the hallway always smelled like smoke from cigarettes or pot. 4) I had a large bug problem and 5) the complex itself is unsafe as I had been followed back to my apartment multiple times and had multiple packages stolen from my front door when at school. While I had many issues with the apartment itself and being in an unsafe neighborhood the worst was when I moved out. If you have a pet expect to pay a pet odor fee of $65! Even though you pay an extremely large non-refundable pet deposit that pet deposit means nothing as nothing was damaged in my apartment and the office stated after that tAug 2018: I’ve lived here for about a year and never had any problems, there was occasional noise but that’s to be expected in any apartment. If I didn’t move because of family then I definitely could have seen myself staying here longer. It’s pretty close to downtown and UGA which I really enjoyed. These people market their place as if it's related to the UGA (University Garden Apartments - UGA!), with a lot of bulldogs around its office. But, you will be better off avoiding them. This place is full of bedbugs and cockroaches, unless you have a soft-spot for these creatures. It is especially not conducive to students as many of the tenants are the ones with personal, family, employment and societal problems. Not to look down on such people, but you won't be able to lead your normal student life with such people. For example, sometimes the lobbies are occupied throughout the week by random people who are not residents, who come there just to occupy the sofa and relax. I wonder how they do their background checks and how they ensure safety within the premises. Review from 6/1/17 on GoogleDec 2016: The only good thing about this complex is it's proximity to UGA. I currently live here and will be moving the moment my lease is up. My building has had issues with bugs from the day I moved in (I constantly see dead roaches and spiders in the hallways). My AC and heating unit doesn't have an functioning thermostat, the carpet is at least 20 years old, and there is no water pressure in the any of the facets. The staff told me a lot of students live here but it's mostly people in their mid 30s and 40s. If I had the money to break my lease, I would leave. I wouldn't recommend you live here unless it's your only option.

Any time I need something fixed at my apartment it is taken care of within 24 hours unlike my past landlords. That being said the apartment buildings are old. Some buildings need to be updated inside/outside. For example, the entrance door to my building is clearly rotting but has not been replaced. The location is extremely convenient; especially if you are a student. I have not had any bug problems. There are quarterly bug sprayings for every building. The grounds are up kept as best as possible by maintenance. I see them picking up trash every morning that people leave on the street.

If you have any problem they will fix it with in a couple of hours or the next day. They take extreme precautions for their residents. All the bad reviews that has been submitted are stupid and they need to be deleted. I love it here and the staff and the maintenance sooooo helpful!

Aug 2016: My girlfriend and I have been living here for a year now, it has been such a pleasant and wonderful experience. The staff is always ready to help and the apartments are beautiful and spacious! (Not to mention very affordable) I'm so glad we got lucky enough to find this place, we love living here!
