I spent two years here at an undergraduate. The neighbors are quiet and respectful. The place is well-kept and clean. The landlord truly listens to your problems and keeps great communication with you.
All apartments have their issues, but at Surrey Square, the owners make it their priority to do everything they can to resolve them.

Jul 2017: Great, affordable place to live. I stayed at Cross Creek Apartments for ~4 years and I've never really had a big problem with anything. No bug problems, no major maintenance issues, no thefts or reports of other criminal activity, no noisy neighbors, nothing. Review from Google

Dec 2016: Lived at cross creek for 2 years. Great staff, clean and well kept exterior. Very quick to resolve any problems we had. Our heater went out and with no trouble at all they replaced the unit and set up times to work around our schedule. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place and quiet, great for studying. Aug 2016: I lived in Surrey Square for 3 years and I would highly recommend it! There is a good bus system to UGA so it was great when I did not have my own car. The location is great too since it is close to campus but also near the highway so you can get to any point in Athens, GA in 15 minutes. The landlord is great and will attend to your needs as best he can. Though the space is not big but it does not feel cramped. Do turn in your application early because their spaces get filled up fast! Review from GoogleAug 2016: I lived in Cross Creek Apartments from August 2014-July 2016 in a 4 bedroom/2 bath apartment. Cross Creek is one of the best apartments in Athens! Management is amazing and very responsive! They own both Cross Creek and Surrey Square and Jeff, the landlord, lives in Surrey Square. Both are small complexes, so any complaints or questions are answered very quickly. Maintenance requests are completed in record time - our AC broke a few months after we moved in and it was replaced in less than 36 hours. We loved our first year so much that we referred many friends to move in for the next year. Overall, the complex is very quiet, but sometimes you can hear your neighbors if they are being loud.
