Jul 2019: Great place to live. Relatively close to campus. The maintenance team cares about resolving any issues you may encounter. Nacho was quick to respond to any appliance issues we had. The in-house staff was a pleasure to report to for any issues. Sue and Brittany always resolved any issues we had, promptly. The staff held many community events throughout the year, with great food! The amenities are top-notch, their new gym equipment is amazing! Had an amazing experience at Polo Club, would recommend to students! Review from Google
Jul 2019: I just moved out after a year at this place and it was not the best experience. The apartment was dirty and musty when I moved in and dead bugs littered the floor. The first month I lived there I was plagued by bug bites all over my legs because they were coming in under the huge crack at the bottom of the front door. It took the complex over a week to fulfill my request for a door sweep and I still have scars from all the bug bites. My utility bills were absolutely insane; my 800 square foot two bedroom apartment cost me at least $70 per month for power and water. A few months my roommate and I EACH paid over $80. And we were NOT using that much power or water. When I tried to confront the office about it, they spoke down to me and showed me everyone else around me's utility statements for that month, and most of those units were paying $90-$100 for that month for a tiny apartment. I don't know what the management thought that was supposed to show me except that they were robbing us all blind Review from Google
Jul 2019: I have been very impressed with Polo Club. The amenities (especially the pool) are nice and well-maintained. It has a great location to campus and a shopping center with many options. Additionally, management and staff is great and very accommodating! Review from Google
Jul 2019: My daughter lived here and it was a terrible experience. There was a mold issue that kept my daughter and her roommates constantly sick. We didn’t realize how bad it was until they came home for the summer and they all felt better. We complained and an air quality was done by Polo Club. Polo Club reported the conditions were safe for the girls to live in. I have looked at the reviews and I have noticed that some of the units have more issues then others. The management changed while my daughter was a resident and it did not get any better. The maintenance staff is horrible. Nothing never really gets fixed or addressed. There was a toilet that needed to be repaired and it took several requests before it was fixed. By then, there was a notice from the water department about the large amount of water being used by their unit and a pricey utility bill followed. There was also an issue with bugs immediately when the girls moved in Review from Google

Jun 2019: When you can’t have more then 2 guests at the pool and other amenities which you pay for, very ridiculous. Always having to kill bugs around the apt. Huge roaches constantly. And when I moved in here it was complete disaster I had to deep clean for hours. The gate is always broken and the apt just needs more updating.. 👋🏼✌🏼 Review from Google

Jun 2019: This place isn’t terrible but it costs too much for what it is. They also tried to charge all residents significantly more than the current advertised price when it came time to renew, when most places usually give residents discounts for early renewals. This is crazy to me that they would disrespect current residents like this. Luckily I caught on to this and didn’t renew but I know friends who didn’t realize that they were tying to cheat them on the new renewal rate and are now trapped in a contract to stay again. Mar 2019: Polo club has wonderful management! Been here for two years and absolutely love it.
Feb 2019: I’ve lived at Polo Club for two years and I have absolutely loved it. The office staff are incredibly kind and happy to help with whatever is needed, and do their best to make the residents have the best stay they can. Apartments themselves are super homey and there are minimal issues, and when they do come up the maintenance staff is extremely prompt and happy to help. A little sad I’m graduating!
Feb 2019: Reasonable price for college students working part time. Standard units don't have updated appliances at all as this is an older complex. Be safe and make sure to always lock doors during the day as this neighborhood is not the best. Maintenance staff is friendly and have completed my requests in a timely manner thus far. It is definitely worth it to invest in a carpet cleaning appliance while living here. Be very careful about the roommate matching form, my first roomate was extremely filthy!!! (left a lot of her belongings when she moved out). I have had a pleasant experience here so far and the Leasing office staff are friendly and have helped me with all of my issues and maintenance concerns thus far. For the value this is a good property to look at especially for getting a furnished unit where each bedroom has its own bathroom. Thank you Polo club.
Feb 2019: DO NOT live here unless you’re comfortable living with roaches. Polo Club has a serious roach problem. We’ve had pest control come regularly since a few weeks after moving in but they persist. I can hear them in my bathroom and in the vents. Polo Club does nothing to accommodate for this other than put in a request for pest control. It’s absolutely disgusting. Review from Google
Feb 2019: I lived here a couple years ago but my review seems to have been deleted (!!!). The entire year I was here, they never closed the gates. On move in day, we moved into an incredibly dirty apartment with dead bugs in the crevices of doors and dog hair in the couches. The staff could only apologize, but did not offer to remedy the situation. You get what you pay for at Polo Club... Pay a little extra and live at The Reserve across the street, where I've been for 2 years now. Review from Google
Oct 2018: What a wonderful and happy staff! I go into the clubhouse practically everyday and I always feel welcome! Building friendships with the ladies in the office makes my experience much more pleasing. Before I moved in, Brittany (one of the employees), helped make my move in process go so smoothly; she took away any extra stress I had and made sure I settled in nicely. You're greeted with the fresh smell of popcorn and candy on the counters, the study/hang out area is a great place to unwind, the gym is always clean and has decent equipment, and the pool (my favorite) is very relaxing. As far as my actual apartment goes, it was well-cleaned and kept before I moved in. Although I had many requests for maintenance to fix, like new screens for my windows, new fire alarms, and a broken chair for the kitchen table, they were quick to appease those d Review from Google
Sep 2018: they charge anything they can. For example, double utility fee, clean fee, move in fee, move out fee, trash fee.... etc. and the new manager is rude said its all you fault that you have to paid it.
Jul 2018: Giving this four stars because of the new manager Laura who works here. She is always very kind and helpful! The new gym renovation is exciting as well. Review from Google
Jul 2018: I have lived at Polo Club for a year and renewed my lease for next year. I have really enjoyed living here; the pool is nice, friendly community, and good management. Any issues/questions I have had, management/staff have helped and work with me on it! At lot of the apartments in the area are pretty much the same because it is a college town. It is safe to say no experience will be perfect, but if you want a place where when there is a bump and you need friendly assistance- live here. Overall, affordable and enjoyable experience for my time here at UGA- plan to stay until I graduate. Review from Google
Jun 2018: Was forced to live with a violent 40 something year old excon and the manager did nothing but just say "well if he hits you then you should just talk to him". They really will take any tenet so you can be roomed with any crackhead off the street and not know until move in. Multiple sexual assaults and robberies have occurred on the property and rent always goes up each year. There are a multitude of places you can go, this place is a cash grab and will room you with any psycho off the corner. Review from Google
Apr 2018: DO NOT SIGN HERE Made it harder to reach the office and the rent isn't worth what you are actually paying for in quality/proximity to campus plus they have a hard time keeping billing straight Update to previous post: Middle of our lease they took away all payment options except for online, which comes with a monthly fee. Office was incredibly rude and basically said that we had no option, even if we don't like it we have to use it. This company is sneaky and has no intention of doing right by their residents. I'm so unhappy that I made the mistake of resigning my lease before this "announcement" so save yourself from making the same mistake. Review from Google
Mar 2018: Polo Club is an adequate place to live. The rooms in a 4 bedroom town house are rather small but are functional for someone who doesn't have much furniture. However, for the rent that is payed, one would expect a more updated unit. The staff at Polo Club is helpful, especially the maintenance staff. While the pet fees/pet rent are quite excessive, Polo Club does offer a small unfenced area where dogs are allowed to play. Polo Club has not been attentive to the parking lots surrounding the premises. Some handicap spots are very badly marked, not recognizable, disorganized and could be dangerous to the residents as there are not explicitly visible lines. They have constant gate problems, but they are quickly fixed by the management. One of the main reasons I wanted to move here was because it is a gated community, therefore mostly safe. Jan 2018: From my experience, the units are a hit or miss. My carpet is disgusting, my hardwood floors are cheap, and my couch smells like cat piss. I don’t feel at home here and never spend any time in my unit. Ironically, two of my close friends live here too, and both of their apartments have very clean carpets, nice(ish?) furniture, and a generally cozy atmosphere. Unfortunate that I’m paying extra for a “platinum” unit but would rather spend time in my friends’ cheaper places. Review from Google
Nov 2017: I have lived here for 2.5 years, and overall have enjoyed the experience. There is currently new management (we have had a total of, like, 3 management changes since moving in, and they have improved every time and I think this one is here to stay), and they have been very helpful and understanding this year! As a resident, I have felt like my opinions matter and information about community projects or things that are being fixed has been dispersed in a timely manner. Anytime we had an issue with an appliance they would come in and either fix it or completely replace it. Yes, a scorpion or two has shown up in the apartment (not nearly an infestation like many people claim... we do live near the woods after all), but we have told them each time and they have sent someone in to check it out and spray. We WERE told a few summers ago they would b Review from Google
Nov 2017: Amazing staff, great and affordable place to live at. Athens transit comes and goes so no transportation problems. Shuttle Bus runs on weekend nights so that's always amazing. Some minor issues that's the reason for 4-star. Maintenance is great too. Overall an inexpensive place to live at. Review from Google
